Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent

Chapter 316: Important Information

"The most important thing is that you're okay. You don't need to meddle in my business," Aaron replied, making Jackson squint his eyes, then respond in the affirmative.

He realized that the difference in strength between the two was quite large. Currently, Jackson was at the Young Sage mage tier and on his way to Intermediate Sage. It was best compared to Aaron who was in the Great Ruler mage tier.

What Aaron was aiming for was definitely much bigger and more complex than what Jackson imagined. The best option for Jackson to help Aaron was to not help him.

"Alright. I don't know what you're up to, but I'll still always support you," Jackson replied, patting Aaron lightly on the shoulder.

"Thanks, Jackson."

The two returned to talk about many things in their meeting this time, such as the development of magic to the situation of the five great unions on Earth.

Aaron was really surprised. According to Jackson's explanation, the Great Ruler figure on Earth failed to mediate between the Unions until conflicts arose.

Currently, Union Europe is in conflict with three major unions, namely Asia, Akhemenid, Solus. Asia's central location is in Beijing, while Akhemenid is in Tehran, and Solus is in a city near Marrakesh.

The disputes between them started due to misunderstandings and past conflicts. This made the situation in some cities unstable, with occasional unexpected terror attacks targeting European academy centers and magic institutes.

"The situation today is far different from the conditions 12 years ago. The Great Ruler's inability to mediate between the Union is the cause of this conflict," Jackson said.

"I'm not interested in that," Aaron said.

"Let them fight each other, I won't prevent it," Aaron retorted, turning his head.

"I understand your attitude. Being trapped in the Dark Pillar Tower for so long has made you able to think about what's good and bad for you, right?" asked Jackson, Aaron nodding in agreement.

Jackson took Aaron on a tour of the academy, to reminisce about the past. Aaron nodded no objection, after all it couldn't hurt for him to relax for a while.

Aaron and Jackson traveled around from the building inside the academy until they arrived at the large field where the students practiced independently.

There, Aaron saw a group of students bullying another student, a total of four against one.

"Bullying?" asked Aaron, turning to Jackson.

Jackson nodded. He whispered something to Aaron about the bullying student. He was the son of a city nobleman, an influential person in London.

"Although this is wrong, but we can't do anything about it. His noble family is the main benefactor of the London Academy of Magic," Jackson said.

"That's why the instructors at the academy can't stop the bullying," Jackson replied.

Aaron was silent. He didn't know what their limits were. However, if the bully was much stronger than the bullied student, then the law of nature was at work.

"Those who are strong oppress the weak," Aaron replied.

"I've seen that happen many times in the Dark Pillar Tower. People die because they are weak," he countered.

The two again stepped away from the place, letting the bullying happen and finish as nature intended.

There was no need for Aaron to take action against them, finding trouble with people he didn't know was tiring enough.

The nostalgic tour of the academy was over. Jackson and Aaron stopped at the front yard of the academy.

It was getting late and only a few of them were inside the academy, most of them went back to their homes or dorms.

"I can't take you home, I have other work to do," Jackson said.

Aaron cleared his throat in agreement. He thanked Jackson for taking the time to talk and walk around the academy, Aaron said he was glad to be back on Earth.

"If you need anything about the situation in some Union, you can ask me. The academy gates will always be open for you," Jackson replied.

"Thank you, Jackson."

Aaron said goodbye. He left the place, as did Jackson who returned to his office. Aaron's current goal is to visit his former home, whether a new house has been built or left empty.

Not long, Aaron finally arrived at the place and saw that the land where his house used to be was not built anything, it was left as a neglected vacant lot with tall weeds.

"Mom... I promise to find you, no matter what it takes!" said Aaron.

He stepped forward, looking at the walls and foundation of the house that had been filled with tall weeds. The place became a good ecosystem for small insects, such as mosquitoes, caterpillars, grasshoppers, and others.

Just when Aaron was looking at the land where his house used to be, he was startled by the sound of footsteps from the side of the house.

Aaron turned his head, he saw a middle-aged old man coming with his teenage son. The man's son was seen coming to accompany his father, he was still wearing the uniform of the London Academy of Magic.

"Are you Aaron? Lucy's son?" asked the man, as if confirming something.

Aaron got up, then responded by nodding slowly. The man smiled, then walked over to Aaron while patting him lightly on the shoulder.

"I'm glad to see you're okay. I'm sorry that I couldn't save your mother when the tragedy happened," he said.

"Things were really chaotic, I didn't know what to do at the time. The police immediately guarded the place and prevented anyone from entering the ruins of the house," the old man replied.

"Did you see who came to kidnap my mother?" asked Aaron, curious.

"Unfortunately, I didn't see him. However, a few days earlier, I saw your mother talking to someone."

"He was wearing a white uniform with a gold pattern. I don't know who he is, but my guess is that he is the cause of your mother's disappearance," said the middle-aged man.

Aaron was silent, not knowing which group and who the middle-aged man was referring to.

He needs to find a lot of information related to this person, maybe there is a glimmer of hope for Aaron to find his mother's whereabouts.

"But don't force yourself, Aaron. I know you want to meet and save her, but acting rashly won't solve any problems," said the man.

Aaron nodded. He was grateful for the information, although he didn't find anything specific that explained who he was and what group he was from.

But at least Aaron got the clue that the man in the white and gold uniform came to his mother before the tragedy happened.

All Aaron needed to do was return to the academy and meet Jackson, he might know the group identity of the owner of the white and gold uniform.

"I see. Thank you for your information."
