Rising Shards

Taking the lead with Oka was sometimes easier said than done. Sometimes I was really game for it, and we could like kiss and stuff and it was really cool. Sometimes I was game for it but would be awkward in the actual playing part. I didn’t want us to have another freezening, so I was determined to overcome this on our first big date.

“Sorry, I’m…trying.” I said as I somehow missed kissing Oka’s cheek for the second time in a row.

“No, you’re fine!” Oka said. She rubbed her hands together. “If I stayed really still, would that help?”

“It might…” I said as Oka froze. “Actually, that’s kinda scary. You’re really good at the whole statue thing there.”

“Thanks,” Oka said. “I practiced a lot in case I had to play the statue part in the play, but I didn’t get cast there, turns out they were just gonna make a paper mâché version of them.”

The pressure on me was lifted for a bit as we just chatted about the play, as Oka got to vent more about it being put on hold. We watched TV and cuddled, and I think that helped us both settle down, so when Oka grabbed my sleeve at the elbow again, biting her thumb as she looked downward, I felt readier this time.

“Since it’s getting closer to home time…” Oka said, her cheeks reddening. “I…wanna do something.”

“Yeah…” I said. “I do too.”

“So um,” Oka said. “What’s in our arsenal?”

I snorted. “Our arsenal?”

“Yeah! Like…so we know. We got kisses. Hugs.”

“Hand holds!” I said.

“Butt squeezes.” Oka said. “Recently upgraded to mutual butt squeezes.”

“Yes!” I said. “Want to…start there?”

“I had an idea…” Oka said. “Partially because I feel like I ruined the mood a bit earlier by getting all spooked.”

“Honey, you didn’t ruin the mood,” I said.

“I just meant…you know.” Oka said. “Like I was worried me um, saying we’d do more was offering?”

“No, I didn’t get that vibe at all!” I said. “If we’re going to…I…think it’d take steps…first.”

“I understand completely,” Oka said. “Phew. I was kinda really worried you’d be mad.”

“I’m not at all,” I said. “I’m really glad we can like, talk our boundaries out and junk. What’s your idea?”

“I think!” Oka shut her eyes and puffed her chest out. “Our next mission should be feels. Because I’m feeling kinda…feely.”

“So like…” I said. “You want us to feel each other?”

“Yeah, like I think I can handle that,” Oka said. “Then that’s like within the little further…deal. Butts are kinda tough in this spot, what with us sitting on the couch, and we’ve already felt our butts, and I’m feeling feely about us feeling something new, so I was thinking…” Her face was very red at this point, and I imagined that she’d given all her available energy into getting just that out. “I don’t know if I’m ruining the moment talking about it in detail like this?”

“It helps me to talk it out!” I said. “Since we grabbed butts last time, are you saying…grab somewhere else this time?”

Oka nodded.

“So like…” I cautiously reached my hands out…and held her shoulders.

“You’ve felt my shoulders before.” Oka said, half laughing and half disappointed.

“Right, right,” I laughed too.

“I was thinking like.” Oka said. “You’ve been staring, so…”

I squeaked in response.

To make sure I didn’t have any doubt what she was talking about, she took my hands off her shoulders and guided them slightly toward her chest. My heart was pounding, and I was probably blushing just as much as her. My face felt like it was burning, at least.

“Are you sure?” I asked.

“As long as you don’t call them anything Kalei called them,” Oka said.

“A-alright,” I said. “Sorry if I accidentally…like do a lightning bolt or…something…” I gulped as Oka let go of my hands and let me do the rest. I was shaking as I reached out. Knowing she wanted me to do this as badly as I did made it easier than it probably would have been normally; I could absolutely see myself getting scared mid-motion and giving up on it. But my fingertips kept moving until I held Oka’s breasts in my hands for the first time.

“They’re really soft.” I whispered. I started overthinking immediately as I kneaded her chest, wondering if I was talking too much or not enough. Oka’s mouth was slightly open as I squeezed.

I had been daydreaming about it a lot, but the actual act was much better than even my most optimistic fantasies.

I only managed about another minute’s worth of squeezing before I freaked out and let go, both of us excitedly cackling. I was freaking out in a good way, basically, and had reached my limit of what I was capable of in getting to hold my girlfriend’s boobs.

“Isn’t boobazes a Kalei word?” I asked.

“It is, but boobazes is kinda cute, I don’t mind it,” Oka said. “And Lillia reacted all funny to it so that’s a bonus. It’s really just the hongus one I don’t like.”

“I won’t say that one,” I frowned. “You’re probably gonna be disappointed, just warning you now.”

“I doubt it,” Oka said. “I know I’ve said it before, but I’ve been staring a lot too.”

We had talked about it plenty, like seriously multiple times both of us had to confirm that we were indeed checking the other out, but I still said “Huh?” and “Whuh?” at the same time, which came out like “Huhwhuh?”

“I mean it!” Oka said. “I’ll stop if you’re uncomfy with it, though.”

“I’m…” I thought it over. I wasn’t uncomfortable with it, just aware that my boobazes weren’t as impressive as Oka’s. “If you really want to, I want you to.”
