Why did he chose luck ?

Well, for starter Takumi is in a very injured state. And he can't fight well enough in such a condition, hell. He can't even match her with the buff stats so therefore he had decided to bet it into his luck. Which is the exact reason why he been saving points, just for when situation like this happened. 

When one found themself in a scenario where their effort aren't enough then that's just bad luck.

Then, what you need is a touch of lady luck to turn things around.

Takumi just dropped the item from his [inventory] onto his chest and leting gravity doing the work of administering the content of it into him.

immediately, he can feel the healing effect taken place as his body began to rapidly regenerate. His bone fusing back together and the pain in his chest is alleviated. Getting back up for the seccond time, now Takumi wasn't so hasty to go in and fight Ryui again. 

He back off from her a good dozen steps away just to be sure that he's not going to agrovated her. He's going to need a new plan to ensure he doesn't get one tap to the floor again. 

With his perception he noticed she hadn't taken any damage, at least not a visable one. Which is a bit troublesome, and there's a off putting feeling when he look at her. 

'There's something diffirent' Takumi feel a bit off about Ryui.

'Her stance?' 

Indeed, her stance has changed. But that's not all, even her eyes is not like what it was but he can tell it has an combative intention towards him.  

Then something unexpected happened, Ryui is the one that make a moves and dashed toward him. 

Jumping out of the way, he managed to dodge her fist. The punch was so strong that it carried a fierce wind with it.

Quickly rolling on the ground Takumi with the advantage of the heal, was able to get up quite fast, but only to found that he was on verge of another attack. Ryui is already running at him with her hand winding up for the next punch.

Finding himself on the other end of the stick, Ryui becoming the aggressor. Takumi moved quickly out of her way. Staying out of her range at much as possible. 

For some reason his opponents suddenly became more fierce, he noticed that her strike also seem stronger too. 

'I need my curse energy back, but not with her keep pressing me.' 

'System, run me five gacha pulls.' He ordered to his system, hoping for an item to use while dodging Ryui attacks. One of her kick scraped him by the forehead as he lean his body backward.

Takumi eyes shot up at the mana poition right away.    

'Yes!' Takumi wanna scream in exciment but he needed to save his breath to dodge Ryui. 

'Now to get her off my tail.' Trying to fomulate a plan in his mind, Takumi watch his surrounding for anything usefull. Anything to distract or help delay her for the short time so he can recover. His eye landed on one of the pillar, it look small enough to wrap his hand around. 

'Let's use that.' He bolted toward the pillar as fast as he can with Ryui right behind him. 

He was able to place his hand on the pillar and used the momentum force to spun himself around quickly into a kick mid air right into Ryui's chest. Knocking her rolling on the floor. 

Grabing hold of the mana potion in his hand, he bite the cork out and chug the blue liquid into his throat. 

*gulp* *gulp*

When Ryui was able to be on her feet again, Takumi already has the bottle empty with his chest glowing a blue hue. 

Right away, she got into a stance. Both of her draw back in to one side of her hip. A wave of focus energy flow through her arm and emerge at her palm. As she launch her arm forward, the energy that was gather formed a blue ball of fire thrown in the direction of Takumi. 

Side stepping pass the blue projectile, Takumi ran toward Ryui. In the next second, a green flash blinded Ryui vision halting her movement. Still confuse from the strange event happened to her she can't react to the punch aim at her face. 

"One." He murmured. 

Her face got knocked to the side, Ryui quickly regain the control of her body and was able to move again until it happen again. Another green flash stun her in place before that man struck her with another attack. A kick to her liver, making her lossing her strength, falling to the ground on her knees.  

"Two." 

52 seconds left. 

A kick to her skull sent Ryui head to the ground, Takumi don't have much time left. So he mounted himself on top of her stomach, locking her movement to try and get up.now with both hands free he can send his asault with her unable to dodge. Left hook, right hook, left and right, just keep railling on top of her. 

"Six...seven....eight...." Takumi keep counting while throwing hits to Ryui who can barely defended herself. 

"Nine...." 

In one last attempt to retaliate, Ryui try launch a straight punch at Takumi face, but it was useless as Takumi with the adavnatage easily dodge it by leaning back and flash stunt her again with his eyes. That was the worst possible time for Ryui to try to counter. 

"TEN!" Takumi screamed, as his right hand came down. Takumi put all the curse energy he can muster into it as he deliver one full force punch at her face. 

His hand which was covered with cursed power has a change in it. His skill which has a chance to activate once every ten continuous attack. And right as Takumi fist colided with Ryui face, his curse energy flashes the collor black. 

BLACK FLASH

The impact of his punch crack the floor below him, sending a strong gust of wind every where. Ryui body lay motionless, his attack is so strong it buried her head under the rubble of what was once the floor.
