Near a nameless plain.

The surrounding beasts went into hiding as an intense killing aura emerged from the nearby forest. A young man clothed in black robe stepped out of a cave. His face was pale and his body was covered in scars. But his pupils burned with intense killing intent.

It was one of Spectral Soul's split souls – Netherworld Immortal!

The young man concealed his traces as he silently went towards a mountain.

Near a broken tributary of Reverse Flow River, a peerless beauty stood atop a ridge. He was wearing a robe which was burning in crimson red flames.

It was Fang Yuan.

Fang Yuan waved his sleeves and sat down crossed-legged. The burning crimson robe seems to slowly extinguish as Fang Yuan started deducing. After a while, he opened his eyes as a short spark of confidence glimmered through his eyes.

"The next fragment of Memory Eclipse Gu should be around here." Fang Yuan stopped for a moment. "But i need to compete with Star Constellation and Gaint Sun to successfully gain the fragment."

Fang Yuan looked at the horizon as he furrowed his brows. "But I need to be on guard against Red Lotus' and Spectral Soul's clones on top of that."

Heavenly Court.

Star Constellation deduced as cold sweat poured down her forehead. Her robe was wavering silently as she hovered above the blood path vault.

"I can't let Fang Yuan have the next fragment of Memory Eclipse Gu" Star Constellation sighed as she looked at the blood path vault. "But I need to look after the Blood Embryo all the time. If it falls in the hands of either of the venerables, Heavenly Court's doom would be certain. After all, we had to go through generations of modification to make the best vessel for Master."

Star Constellation suddenly made up her mind as she called all of the remaining Heavenly Court's members and gave each of them a task.

She went into one of Heavenly Court's hidden treaurey and took out several star path and wisdom path Gu worms.

The Heavenly Court's Gu Immortals started working as Star Constellation set out to participate in the battle.

Longevity Heaven.

Giant Sun looked at his injured son as while listening to the reports from his subordinates.

The Eight Extremities and Desolate Lords were lined up as Yao Huang was speaking while kneeling on the ground.

"I'm ashamed! Lord Giant Sun entrusted me to such an important position but I was incompetent! I deserve to be punished!"

Giant Sun gave a last look to his son as he spoke.

"It wasn't your fault that we lost Light Gu and got Light Emperor injured. After all, You Tian Guang and Unified Essence Yi Qi Zi are both legendary immemorial beasts that have reigned in their own era. It's normal that you lost to them." Giant Sun turned his head towards Yao Huang. "You don't need to dwell over it. How far can those beasts go? We can settle the scores once I'm done with this battle. Don't lose your balance in such an important juncture. I believe you will not disappoint me."

Yao Huang's body shook before he said in a choked voice. "Lord is truly magnanimous!"

Giant Sun nodded as he murmured softly. "I need to go back to Central Continent now."

Red Lotus' clone sat crossed-legged while planning his future actions. After a long time, he got up and sighed.

"I can't take the Memory Eclipse Gu even if I manage to get the fragment. Otherwise, the three venerables would just kill me." Red Lotus stood up. "Looks like I need to make an alliance with Star Constellation."
