Chapter 1: Revenge
Takumi Nakahara, a 16 year old boy with issues that affected him so much that he lost all emotions on his face. An accident happened to him while he was young that caused his right eye to completely lose function. This led to him always wearing an eye patch for covering the shame that he felt for some reason.
6 months ago, his father met a terrible fate in a car crash that, apparently, his mother didn't care about. She married another man almost instantly for a very obvious reason, money. However, as it turns out, he's a drunkard. And to add to this cliché story, he beats up the boy's mother almost everyday but for some reason, the mother had no problem with it, the reason being money. Money money money. That's all that ever goes through her mind.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the new husband had a daughter of his own who was nothing like him. Airi. She was handicapped and was always on a wheelchair. Takumi was the one that took care of her and grew rather fond of her. That's why he couldn't stand it anymore when he saw her sad face when her father beat up his mother in front of them once again.
So what did the boy do, he went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and came running towards the man and stabbed him, then he stood over the body with blood dripping from the knife like the main character. After a moment of silence, the bitch pulled him towards her and slapped him.
"Do you have any idea what you've done!" She shouted.
"What! do you expect me to regret it? I just freed us from this psycho."
"You fool! Now who's going to provide money for us?"
"Money? That's all you've ever cared about! You never even used it for us."
"What are you even talking about?"
"You think I never noticed? You went through all the beating just so he could give you money. Then what did you do with it? Used it all on drinks with your girlfriends at clubs. I bet you never even knew that they are only using you for free drinks."
She couldn't stand it and slapped him. Then she started pacing around thinking what to do now and without talking, she went and packed all her things and was about to leave when the boy shouted to her that she'll soon come to regret everything as she walked out.
From then on, Takumi took care of Airi by doing part time jobs everyday. Eventually, he could pay his own school fees and still put food on the table. Things were looking great, is what he would've told himself if he wasn't being bullied at school.
His whole class bullied him every time they got a chance. The reason for this being that he always had an eye patch on that made him look like he was cosplaying. That's right, an eye patch. This is turning into a magical girl backstory. But he was always able to tolerate it all. something's wrong with the people of this story. But there was one girl from his class that never bullied him. In fact, she always looked like she was in pain as she witnessed him being bullied.
One day, as he came out of his job at a convenient store with groceries, he came across a group of boys from his class. We'll ignore the fact that its almost midnight. The boys didn't miss the chance to bully him, by wearing masks and taking him to a back alley and beating him up. At least they left the groceries. As Takumi went home, he was thinking about what to tell his sister for being late but when he opened the door that was unlocked, he quickly realized that someone must've broken in and rushed in only to reel back at the sight that greeted him.
Airi on her wheelchair with blood covering all of her clothes, cut wounds everywhere and a few things were out of place. This left him in shock but he quickly snaped back to reality when he saw a hand on the balcony railings with a ring on its middle finger that had three gemstones of black, green and blue. When he went to check who it was, the hand let go of the balcony railings and fell from the second floor to the darkness of the night. For a while he couldn't think and all he did was cry and scream in agony. Then it dawned on him.
This would not have happened if the bullies had not made him late to go back home. This thought made him furious to the point that he would be called crazy. He finally decided to get back at them all. For a week, he didn't appear at school but nobody even cared except for the girl that never bullied him. Class was about to start. Everyone settled and the teacher came in and closed the door, but as she walked to the chalkboard, the door opened and Takumi came in, then he closed the door and walked towards the teacher thinking; this asshole never even batted an eye towards me as I was being bullied. You'll be first. Then he pulled out a nail gun, stuck it in her eye and pulled the trigger. Then he turned around and nailed the door. Some students tried to run out through the other door but it was already nailed from the outside which they didn't hear cause of the noise they were making.
Takumi then grabbed two hammers and one by one, struck everyone-except the girl that never bullied him-at a point that will hurt them a lot but will not kill them. Then he waited and watched as they screamed in pain enjoying their agony. Then he went for round two and killed everyone he hit at the first round. By the end of the show, the class was filled with blood everywhere and dead silence. Then the boy went to the window, stood on it, looked down, then looked at the girl and then fell off.
That's right, he fell off. I fell off. I fell off from the third floor. Then why the hell am I still alive?!
Is what I was telling myself at the time. This was before I realized the situation I was in when I saw that everyone whom I had killed was right there with me even the girl whom I didn't kill appeared after a few seconds.
What is going on? Something's clearly not right. Why is it so bright?
Then I heard a beautiful woman's voice that echoed around the area we were in and everything started to take form. Once I looked at my surroundings only one thing was in my mind. Am I getting isekai'd? No freaking way! That's all that I could think of since the place was so bright it was practically screaming its divinity.
"Welcome my future heroes." The beautiful woman's voice echoed everywhere.
"Welcome...to heaven. Allow me to introduce myself. I am the goddess of this world, she who is worshipped by humans and is feared by evil."
"Goddess? Heaven? What's going on?" Some of my former classmates muttered.
"Allow me to explain. You all met a tragic fate at the same time and at the same place. I was watching you. I was always watching you since I new that was going to happen."
After that sentence, for some, I started shaking in fear. I couldn't control myself. What's happening? Why do I feel so scared?
"If you were there, why didn't you save us from him!" One shouted as they all agreed.
"You watched us die and you didn't do anything?" Another said.
After a while of complaining, in front of us a chair appeared, a luxurious couch, with a woman seating on it wearing a beautiful white dress and with an incredibly beautiful face. She also had some kind off elf ears with beautiful earrings, but one stood out. An earring on her right ear that kind off looked like hanafuda earrings with the dangling rectangular object that had something written on it, but the character was new to me. I have never seen that word.
"Heavenly beings can't interfere with the matters of the physical worlds. We can only interfere if you worshipped us, asked for our help and some other conditions being met. Knowing that, I felt pity for you and decided to choose you as my heroes for another world. A world of swords and magic. This is what you'd call, an isekai."
"Wait a minute. Does that mean that we'll be OP?" One cocky student asked. But the goddess didn't answer and only looked at their excited faces thinking; it works every time.
"With all that said and done I will explain to you how things will be from now on as you prepare to battle this generation's demon lord but before that..." She said as she turned her head towards me.
"You. You will not be one of my heroes. I cannot allow such a being to be one of my heroes." Some of my former classmates already started laughing at me and mocking.
"Then may I ask what you plan to do with me and why you won't choose me." I said fearfully trembling.
"Why I wont choose you? Your simply imperfect to be one of my heroes."
What?
"Have you looked at a mirror recently? Bags under your eyes, hands filled with injuries, and that right eye of yours. My heroes are perfect beings. They are a symbol of me. I can't let someone as imperfect as you ruin my name."
What? At this point, I was more pissed off than scared.
"Are you kidding me? That's Your reason? Your not gonna say anything about me killing other people or that I'm evil or something like that? Your saying that I'm imperfect? That's your excuse? Seriously?" Why have I never met anyone that's sensible?
"For this reason, you will not be one of my heroes and therefore you will be removed from my presence."
When she finished talking, a hole appeared beneath me and I fell through. Then I realized I'm falling from the sky towards what appears to be a forest. So what do I do? Scream like any normal person.
I couldn't tell the time by I knew one thing for sure. I've been falling for well over three minutes. Then why the hell was I still above the clouds? At that point I was just bored and started having 3am thoughts.
Could this all be a dream? Am I already dead? Was I even ever born? My whole life felt so stupid. Wait a Minute. It wasn't my whole life. It all started when my right eye became like this. Huh. Whatever. I've been falling for a couple of minutes. I'm definitely not in the usual world. I guess I could look around for now.
And then I started looking to see if I'll see something incredible. But all I could see were trees. Lots and lots of them. But as I kept twirling around in the sky that's when I saw something. Beyond the horizon. It looked like a cylindrical tower made of pure metal, probably. And it had some kind of yellow-golden lines along it in multiple directions. It was massive. Really really massive. I couldn't see its bottom, if it even had one. Its top looked loke it pierced the sky. Literally. There was some kind of hole in the sky. There was also some kind of circle in the sky that surrounded it like a ring. It was golden I think and had some characters written on it but it was to far to confirm what I saw.
As I continued Twirling I noticed something else. In the shape of a bird? I didn't even gather my thoughts yet as it came towards me and grabbed me just like that. Out of context. I was in its mouth still wondering what the actual hell was going on then it all came to me. At that point I realized I was between its teeth and it didn't bite me quite yet. I was gonna die again but I didn't want it to be painful.
So I started struggling to free myself from its clutches then, like a revelation from above, I remembered I had a pen in my pocket. So I took it out and was planning to stab it in the eye then my bad luck struck me again. Its eye was like 10 feet away from me. WHAT THE HELL! So I did what any normal person would do. Panic and swing my arm everywhere hoping it would hit somewhere vulnerable and since I'm the main character of this story, I stabbed it at the gum. But it didn't let go. Instead it started dive bombing from the sky and in the blink of an eye I was at the tree level. I continued stabbing it until it let me go then finally it did.
Then I fell through the trees as they broke my fall and I landed on the ground. When I came to my senses and realized I wasn't dead only one thing came to my mind. Plot armor saves the day once again. Then I stood up but immediately felt something was wrong with my right leg. But I didn't want to look. So I ignored it and tried to walk but I couldn't ignore it anymore. Then I looked. DUDUN. From the knee downwards it was, well, definitely not right that's for sure. I screamed. A lot. And after a while I was tired and fell unconscious on the ground. When I woke up it was already nighttime. I wondered what I was doing in the forest. All I could do was look up at the sky and in between the trees. I saw a beautiful sight. Two moons, both were different colors and one was bigger than the other. Right next to each other.
That's when I remembered. Oh. Right. I'm in another world.
