Reincarnation: Road to rebuild a lost home

Chapter 3: I will return home

Eusia was in a state of worry because the news of her sister's water breaking at this moment meant one thing and that is the arrival of new blood.

“I don’t understand!... It is not yet time for him to be born. Why all of sudden is your water breaking now at the worst of times.” Eusia says getting a little panicked at the moment.

“Sis… there is no need for you… to be acting like that… I need you to help me instead.”

“Right! Right got to help you Beia and the baby, best is to bring you toward the rest of the people being escorted out of this kingdom. There you will get the needed help for the birth.”

“Then we must quickly move, sister. It feels as if the child wants to be born more than ever.”

Eusia nodded, getting the clear message, grabbing an arm and having it over her shoulder to have some of her own flesh and blood weight shared with her to make it easy when they are moving at the fastest speed the two can go.

“Just hang in their sis we are going to get through this.”

/ At a far distance away from Waxulia /

A man Bearing the traits of a tiger stands alone in a field, surrounded by rows and rows of men, armored and ready to fight.

He is Gonten, a proud were-tiger warrior who fights against the numbering odds that come to stop him. Even the wounds on his body do not slow him down nor how many human soldiers come attacking him.

Gonten shows them his unbreakable might by the strong swing of his great long sword where the blood covers a great amount of deep crimson red blood along with the large number of bodies that lay before him.

“What a monster…. Look at how many of us he already cut down.” One of those human soldiers says in fear.

“What are we supposed to do to keep on fighting him, that thing hasn’t shown any point of weakening or slowing down.”

“Shut up! We got our orders; we have to kill him don’t you understand there's no way of turning our backs on this. There will be punishment for such action.”

As these few human soldiers speak among each other no one has dared to make a move against Gonten as he sees that it would be a waste to wait on them.

So, he takes a deep breath and charges forward when right at the range to swing his great sword, cutting down a good number of them just by that one strike.

“You will not get in my way of returning home, your human trash.”

/ Back at Waxulia kingdom/

Eusia and Beia were struggling yet making so far good progress when moving throughout a city avoiding the human soldiers who roamed the streets destroying whatever was in their path.

It felt for them to be greatly lucky given that one is under the pressure of a child wanting to be born, but Beia is a strong woman with a will that won’t break just yet when the baby must be born in a place of peace and safety not here in their home is under attack.

“Well got to say we are doing quite well sister a little longer and we will be back at the palace. When there, the next part is going to be much easier as the two of us will use the tunnels out of the kingdom of Waxulia.” Eusia says.

“I hope sis…. The baby is being difficult inside my stomach.”

“I can see from the look on your face just let me check to see that we are in the clear to move.”

Eusia looks over from the wall the two were leaning against, what is seen is the bodies of their people lying on the street floor covering it with their blood. It sickens her to see such a scene before those eyes the anger inside builds, but she knows the well-being and safety of her sister is most important.

Two human soldiers were speaking with each other as either both were there to patrol looking for any other were-tigers' people or they were taking a moment of a break after killing some.

No matter what Eusia must take out these two humans, so she and Beia can move on to make it to their distinction. The bow becomes ready to be fired taking just the moment until making her move running towards them.

It Took only a second for these two human soldiers to see her coming, but not enough time when Eusia shot the arrow straight into the forehead piercing the skull while she was moving.

Then performs a roll where right at that timing uses her claws to slash along the way as she stops on the other side of that one falling forward with blood pouring out from her open throat.

“All right sister, come on it's clear now,” Eusia says to make sure of it when looking around the area.

“Good, I’m pleased to see you kill those fools, I wish I was back at top form to help in killing them.”

“You will sister one day again when the little one in your belly has come of age to fight by your side against these humans who have wronged us.”

The two had a small laugh, but it came to a fast end when they heard and soon saw a group of more human soldiers making their way over to them.

“Shit! Beia run; I will deal with them.” Euisa says while reading another arrow to fire.

“But Euisa you know me not….”

“Now, you and the baby's live are to come first no matter what don’t worry my life won’t end this day trust me.”

Just as she had said a large tiger appeared, catching one of the human soldiers, and began to bite into the man's face, tearing away the flesh of the face skin.

At the time other were-tiger soldiers show up as well fighting against the rest of the human soldiers at times they were affected by the shock of witnessing one of their own eaten alive by the tiger.

“Please to see and find you Beia as I did not wish for my nephew mate and child to end up dead by those humans. Then again you shouldn't even be out here in the first place with a full belly.”
