Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 640: Town Certificate

The Origin's Wrath was something that came unexpectedly to Xu Feng.

It was a complete surprise, because upon further investigation, he came to a realization why he automatically obtained such a skill.

Apparently, the Origin's Wrath could only be obtained once the player received baptism prior to undergoing the hidden class change.

In other words, this was a one-of-a-kind unique skill that no one else except for him could have in the Divine World.

Who else but him got the opportunity to be baptized at level 1 and then succeeded in passing the Origin Trial?

"Phew, I finally made my first step into being the Strongest Healer." The normally composed Xu Feng found his emotions spiraling out of control. It was also the first time in a long time that he didn't want to compose himself.

He wanted to be let loose and thoroughly enjoyed this spectacular moment.

Nevertheless, it only lasted for approximately a minute before Xu Feng came to his senses and began making the difficult choices.

16 amazing skills to be chosen, but only 6 of them could be unlocked. Therefore, the choices that Xu Feng makes must factor in every little detail.

Not only must it be extremely useful, but it must also be convenient to use continuously through a proper rotation of the skills.

Without much hesitation, Xu Feng unlocked Sanctuary Light which could be stacked with the Origin's Wrath. It was a no-brainer's choice in this particular one.

Absolute Undoing and Wrathful Restoration was also a must-have skill in his arsenal.

As for Cycle of Despair, Xu Feng temporarily decided not to unlock it yet. The skill effects were great, but the cooldown, followed by other similar effects on a lower-cost skill made it not viable for the moment.

With that being said, Xu Feng already wasted 9 Origin Points, leaving him only with 11 left, or 3 skills left to be precise.

Narrowing his eyes, he soon finished making up his mind. 'Anathema's Touch and Ethereal Teter work extremely well together. It's a must-have.'

The numerous uses of these two were interlinked and would be an absolute disaster for his enemies. Therefore, Xu Feng unlocked those two in a heartbeat.

The final skill to be unlocked was the most difficult choice, but in the end, Xu Feng knew what his playstyle was. High risk, high reward. He was the type to seek after the highest reward possible.

"Overheal Detonation it is…" He declared, officially completing his transition from a regular Cleric to an Origin Cleric.

Shortly after the choices were made and done, Xu Feng had 2 Origin Points left. He had spent a total of 18 Origin Points. If he wanted to gain another point to unlock another skill, that would be when he level up to 36, which was 2 levels away as he was currently level 34.

With the new skills unlocked, Xu Feng didn't rush ahead to test them right away. Instead, he turned his attention to the second reward that was granted to him by the system: the Town Certificate.

Never once did he anticipate the system to be that generous in granting him a Town Certificate which could only be dropped by elite bosses or in level 50 and above hell-mode difficulty dungeons.

Although it could be dropped, the truth was that the drop rate was insanely low. Even if one were to complete a 1000 hell mode difficulty dungeon, they might not even receive one.

As for elite bosses, these were monsters that were global, and in which many players numbering hundreds of thousands would compete against.

The chance of snatching one was inherently more difficult and tedious. After all, just obtaining the item didn't mean the end, but rather the start of animosity and hostility from those participating in the battle.

While Xu Feng was inspecting the Town Certificate, the timer that was sneakily hidden all the way at the top reached 0.

System: Player Lin Feng can return here once they have reached a minimum level of 70 to tackle the second phase of the Origin Trial. You will be teleported to the nearest City!

Having remained way past the timer that was displayed on the top, Xu Feng was automatically ejected from this mysterious environment.

Thankfully, the process was rather smooth, without any hiccups or so-called nauseous moments.

However, much to his surprise, he arrived at the Teleport Platform of some other city, rather than Star Falls City.

'Hmm, now this is unexpected.' He thought, opening his map that was finally enabled at long last.

Not having a map was really equivalent to being blind.

As the map was opened, he realized he ended up in Skyland City.

'Now how did I end up here?' Confused, Xu Feng decided not to return to Star Falls City right away. Since he was here, he might as well take a look at the development of other cities.

Additionally, he wanted to check the city's auction market to see what was different. Auction Market had two separate categories, one that was global and another one was local.

With global, everyone could see items listed in every Auction Market whereas with local, only that specific region, city, or area could see the items.

The implementation of such was to promote and ensure the uniqueness of a specific city to remain relevant and force players to travel around if they wanted to buy some items. After all, not all items could be auctioned off on the Global.

Some local specialties such as Star Falls City's unique Ores could only be auctioned off in the Local Auction Market.

Amidst Xu Feng's sightseeing, he suddenly heard a loud commotion in the City's Center.

"Hey, did you hear that there is a large monster wave that's headed toward Star Falls City's direction?"

"Hahaha, of course, I know. Did you think I lived under a rock or something? Those monster waves appeared almost the moment the Vanguard Guild's auction was over. It's like the system wanted to put an end to their arrogance."

"When even the system wants to see their end, who are we mortals supposed to go against? I heard that MIST is heavily recruiting for players to take advantage of this and restore their humiliation."

'Monster wave eh.' A bit taken aback, Xu Feng hadn't expected them to show up that quickly.
