Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 609: Supervisor Harvey

Fifth Floor, Infirmary Section

Standing on the right side, Xu Feng naturally wouldn't walk to the left side that was being overseen by Aera.

Without a doubt, those on the left side were definitely in for the trouble.

'Phew, good thing I didn't follow her.' Xu Feng thought to himself, having noticed one of the Trainees on Aera's side, wanted to slip away to come toward the right side.

It was just a pity that the Trainee was dumb enough to not realize there was an electric sensory that surrounded them.

As soon as the sensory alarm was triggered, the Trainee was electrocuted like some fried chicken and got sent flying backward. They crashed down and coughed a mouthful of blood, which was followed by Aera's cold demeanor who slapped them with a severe warning.

Naturally, this severe warning was the real deal and not the bluff she pulled earlier to Xu Feng.

After handing the severe warning, Aera returned to her position and didn't even bother addressing or telling the Trainees to not do anything funny.

Seeing that scene, Xu Feng attempted to strike up a conversation with some of the nearby Trainees.

"Hey, did that Assistant Coordinator try to lure you out of the dorm as well?" He asked softly, taking the opportunity to glance at their name tag which spelled, Roy.

Roy paused his reading temporarily, turned to Xu Feng, and gave him a quick glance.

He then returned to his reading but still responded, "Yeah, and I've told her to run a mile."

"I see…" Nodding, Xu Feng continued, "I told her she has no right meddling with the Medical Division and got away with that."

Although Roy no longer responded, there was still a slight reaction when he heard Xu Feng's response. Though it was just very brief and Roy no longer bothered to converse with Xu Feng any further. In his mind, his reading was more important and valuable than conversing.

Similarly, Xu Feng no longer bothered him and inquired with the other Trainees. Continue your journey on My Virtual Library Empire

However, his luck didn't seem good when most of them gave him the cold shoulder or outright pretended he didn't exist.

'Tsk, pretentious people.' With how the Trainees behaved and how an invisible wall seemed to be in place, Xu Feng stopped trying to inquire for more information. After all, he did gather enough to verify his train of thought.

Everyone who was currently on the right side had, in one form or another rejected Aera's demand and refused to follow her.

As for the left side, it was self-explanatory that they caved in and surrendered themselves to Aera's demand and threat.

And now they came to a realization that they messed up, hence, a Trainee among them wanted to escape and join the right side.

Shaking his head, Xu Feng stopped trying to guess Aera and Harvey's intentions. He decided to follow Roy's method and proceed to study a bit more. Right now, it was safe to assume he was the most ignorant person within Battleship Lux.

Aside from the date and time, along with a few basic knowledge, he had nothing else in his mind.

The galaxy they were located in, the pathway that the Battleship Lux was flying toward, and most importantly, what exactly were they doing out in the galaxy?

There were so many unknown variables, and in a math equation, it was impossible to solve without knowing at least one of them. After all, this could be considered a three system of equations with variables x, y, and z, except in his case, there were at least 8 or more variables.

Time quickly went by, and soon, the door that had been shut tightly from the other side opened up.

Almost immediately, all the Trainees and Aera stood up straight, Xu Feng included. What he needed to do was follow the sequence of events and try his best to not act out of place.

"Greetings Supervisor Harvey," Aera stepped forward and greeted Harvey.

"Oh, I'm glad you're here to assist me this time, Coordinator Aera." Harvey's solemn expression lessened a bit upon seeing Aera.

"Oh, you still love to tease me, Supervisor Harvey. I'm just an Assistant Coordinator, not a Coordinator yet." Aera smiled lightly and corrected.

"Heh, it's just a form of address where you will become one sooner or later. Calling you now is better to get this habit established. I'm getting old and need a successor." Harvey laughed heartily.

"You can definitely find yours," Aera said and proceeded to hand him a list of Trainees.

"This new batch had some decent trainees and some not so bright. These 15 people are those who failed to defend their rights along with a few more who tried to escape their failure." As she explained, she began listing out the names who tried to flee and were caught red-handed.

Harvey's expression also turned serious once they went into business and nodded in agreement. He turned to his assistant behind and gave them the list as his eyes started to gaze at those on Xu Feng's side.

"You've all done well to pass the mini-test," Harvey commented.

"Our Medical Division works closely together with the Emergency and Coordinator Division on numerous occasions. But no matter the circumstances. We don't answer to them, only to the superiors from the Medical Division. The only exception was those from the Command Division with authorization which you must verify first to confirm the authenticity." He continued and glanced at Aera, signaling for her to proceed.

Aera nodded her head and started calling out a few names. "Oscar, Wallace, and Windsor, these three individuals happened to fail to verify the authenticity of the Command Division and got baited by Assistant Coordinator Aera. Therefore, they are given one severe warning for not being thorough enough. As for the rest, you are given two severe warnings."

Just when nearly everyone thought the matter was over, Aera started pointing out the Trainees who tried to flee earlier. "You people can say goodbye to Battleship Lux. Failing to avoid the trap isn't the end of the world, but trying to escape responsibility is. We cannot afford to trust our crewmates to be healed by such irresponsible people after all."

"Wait, we can explain—"

"We didn't mean to—"

"No, my father is—"

No matter what the Trainees said, they all couldn't finish their words, given the assistants behind Harvey had already retrieved their laser guns and shot them dead.
