Reincarnated as the Last Villain

Chapter 33: The Creator’s Lie

Night had fallen over Ravengarde.

The southern fires had dimmed, the imposter's ashes carried by wind.

But victory never lasts long in a world this broken.

Nilo stood in the forge chamber, hands trembling over a scroll sealed with wax older than any of them had seen.

Kael approached.

"What is it?"

Nilo turned.

"Something I should've destroyed long ago."

The Truth Beneath the Flame

The scroll bore the mark of House Enmaris —a forgotten house from the Age of Titans, believed extinct…

They were the creators of the Soul Mirror —the forbidden relic used to make Kael's clone.

As Kael read, the words blurred:

The Soul Mirror is not a tool.It is a key. A door. A trap.It does not simply copy the soul… it splits it.

Kael's heart sank.

Whoever steps through the mirror leaves a piece behind. And if too many fragments exist…the soul shatters.

[New Revelation Unlocked]

The Kael in Ravengarde may not be the only original.

Soul Mirror created multiple splinters, each with a fraction of Kael's soul.

Some may be unaware they're fragments… others may believe they're him.

The Fear Within

Kael stumbled back, breath short.

"I thought I killed the imposter," he whispered.

Nilo nodded grimly. "You did. But he was just… one echo."

Vaenira, listening from the shadows, spoke softly:

"If part of your soul lives in others… what happens if they all reunite?"

Kael didn't answer.

But the flame pulsed. As if alive.

As if… afraid.

The Letter From Enmaris

Folded within the scroll was a smaller note.

Written in silver ink.

Kael Valen,You were never meant to exist in one body.Find the others. Or they will find you.And when they do…You will burn.— E. Enmaris
