Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World

Chapter 277: Lion King Referrals

"Kindly accept my referral request," Exalon said with a meaningful smile plastered on his face.

Exalon seemed pretty excited to have sent so many Lion Kings these referral requests, and that was because of the new mission Kael had dropped not long ago on the public mission board.

[Lion King Referral Mission, Reward: 500 Conquering Points per Lion King]

Xu Ying and the others were about to question Exalon at his bad timing but they also saw the rewards for the referral mission.

This was huge. If they had seen this mission earlier when they were still on planet Eridoria, they wouldn't have cared that much.

However, after they had explored the exchange board, they realized the value of points. So many lions had exotic meats that they wanted to sell, some Veggie Lions had rare herbs that they had found and hoped to sell for some quick Conquering Points.

There were even lions who had refined metal for sale, although the quality of these metals was nothing compared to what a Lion King would have access to, it was still something.

Any lion would tell that the market was expanding and more items would be discovered or added soon enough. This was the best time to capitalize and make profit, strike while the Iron was still hot, and provide something that was very valuable.

And if things worked out well, which they could all see was eventually going to happen, many Lions both in heaven and other places would be linked to the Lion System, the exchange board would be very useful at that time.

Having a lot of points was very necessary to live a life of luxury in the future Kael imagined for them.

And this was just the exchange feature, the amount of things one could do with Conquering Points on the mission feature had not yet been explored.

With Exalon taking the initiative, he would probably strike it big very soon. Xu Ying and the others could not help but have looks of envy on their faces.

Alora, on the other hand, shivered in fear. Kael had mentioned something like this happening, he wanted his influence to spread in heaven even if he wasn't there.

He had been vague and Alora had not thought too much about it, after all, these were war-showered lions, how could they be so easily influenced?

Yet, here Exalon was, a tier 6 Lion King, sending referral requests to so many Lion Kings at once.

So fast.

Exalon stood proud and mighty, his head raised high as he waited for those who wished to accept the request.

Of course, most of the items in the exchange board held little appeal to him for now. He was more interested in the mission bestowal feature.

But apart from testing out some of the features of the Lion System, Exalon also had another agenda.

"What's this?" One of the Lion Kings asked.

By now, the Lion Kings in the room had reached six hundred in number and the hall was starting to get crowded. As soon as new Lion Kings entered the hall, a golden screen would appear in front of their face, asking them to join the Lion System.

"It's the power of the Primordial Lion," King Exalon said, causing their ears to perk up.

Ma'abu's gaze grew sharp, he no longer looked at Exalon with a calm gaze. Rather, it looked like he was holding back the killing intent.

"How, is he here?" King Larvis asked.

Some Lion Kings then raised their big heads as they sniffed the air, searching for a foreign scent.

Exalon shook his head, "No, but thanks to it, I've been able to communicate with the Primordial Lion…"

The silence was deafening, Exalon appreciated it.

"Accept the request and allow yourself to be exposed to the mysterious powers of the Primordial Lion, you won't regret it, I Promise. I know I haven't." Exalon said.

As soon as Exalon finished saying that, some Lions instantly dismissed the golden screen. These were the kings who were against the Primordial Lion.

Exalon kept his smile but he had mentally taken note of all their identities.

Most of the remaining Lion Kings were not against the Primordial Lion but were very skeptical about these mysterious powers Exalon spoke of.

Exalon understood them very well. Not many of them had the curiosity and fearlessness he had when Alora gave him her own referral request.

If they went around accepting everything that was given to them, they wouldn't be Lion Kings in the first place.

"No need to fear," Exalon said, "I have linked myself to this power and I must say, the enhancements are worth it…"

Exalon then released a bit of his aura, this aura was mixed with the aura of the Conquering Essence within him, giving him a more dignified presence that was superior to the other Lion kings.

As expected, the other Lion Kings did not appreciate this show-off very much. Although Exalon was not challenging them to a fight, their instincts were warning them of his threat.

As of now, Exalon's muscles seemed extra large and more imposing for some reason.

"If you don't want to join the Primordial Lion's side, it's fine. Just know that this opportunity may not come again in the future.

If you want to sit on the sidelines, fine, don't come complaining later on," Exalon was calm, for a War Lion.

But his words struck the Lion Kings where he wanted them to. He may not be the smartest Lion King but his experience and age came with its own level of wisdom.

He was biased and supported the Primordial Lion even though he had not really met him. Because of this, he wanted to draw others to his camp.

'For the glory of the lion race,'

Exalon's words were effective as one Magus Lion immediately accepted the referral request out of curiosity. He was skeptical but since Exalon was not harmed in any way and even claimed to have received benefits, there was no harm in trying.

Besides, Exalon was not known to be a deceptive Lion King, he was the type that would just solve complex problems by destroying them. He didn't seem like the type to scheme against all of them.

Hearing the ding in his head and the 500 Conquering Points that were added to his personal profile account, the smile on Exalon's face widened and the tip of his fangs began to show.

As soon as the Magus Lion accepted the request, the golden screen disappeared and another golden screen appeared in front of him, showing him all the guidelines Kael had written beforehand.

And before he could read through everything, Conquering Essence had begun to invade his body, pushing out the magic power in his extra power pool and filling it with the golden essence.

*WHOOSH!*

The Lion Kings all felt the surge of magic energy and looked over to see that this particular Lion King had accepted the referral request.

They immediately paid attention to the lion, hoping to use him as a scapegoat to test out whether Exalon was lying.

"Wow!" The Lion King exclaimed. His eyes shone as he rapidly absorbed the knowledge stored within the guidelines. The runes on his body flickered in and out, becoming more and more vibrant.

But his Conquering Essence Pool wasn't filled. The Lion System did not have enough Conquering Essence to move around like that.

Exalon's Conquering Essence Pool alone was vastly bigger than Kael's two pools combined.

For now, the Magus Lion King's extra power pool was filled with a mix of Conquering Essence and Magic power.

That single exclamation was like the final nail in the coffin. Conquering Points began to flow into Exalon's account as more Lion Kings accepted the requests and had their identity marks added to the Lion System.

Still, Exalon ignored the dings and kept on looking around, gazing at all the lions on the pedestals who remained in the fence.

Most of those who accepted the referral request were already in support of the Primordial Lion with some who were neutral but still wanted to see what the Lin System was about.

Chloe's grandfather, the slim fire lion, also accepted the request and was exposed to the things of the Lion System. He too was quick to judge the potential and scale of what this Lion System could do.

However, Chloe's grandfather was the only one from the Cross Claw Alliance to accept the request. The others were simply neutral except Ma'abu.

Alora looked at that Lion Queen who was from the Fanged Flower Alliance, she too had accepted the request. However, she seemed more curious than excited.

King Larvis looked around, then looked at Ma'abu. He may have supported the Primordial Lion immediately if not for the reminder Ma'abu had given him.

"Hmm," Ma'abu, who had been sitting still all his while, finally moved. He stood up and the power of time erupted, minor temporal waves were a result of his emotions rippled out in small waves.

"I'll be denouncing my membership from the Cross Claw Alliance!," He said to everyone, his time ripples drawing everyone's attention, "I propose a new Coalition, an Alliance that would be formed to ensure the Primordial Lion never rises again!"
