Chapter 260: Origin World
"This world? This planet?" Kael asked, not understanding what N'bayé was trying to say.
N'bayé nodded, "Although the authors used different words to define different things, I was still able to narrow down on what they were trying to say.
This planet is an Origin Essence Generator, or at least, it should be.
Not all worlds, or in this case, planets, can generate Origin Essence, but this world seems to meet the requirements needed for the phenomenon to occur."
Kael's jaw loosened slightly as his mouth opened slightly, he was shocked.
But it made so much sense, there could be billions and trillions of planets in a given galaxy at any time.
If the lion civilization really intended to conquer everything, their forces would end up being spread thin before they could move to the next galaxy.
How many clans did the lion race have? How many Lion Kings did they have to be able to shoulder such a burden?
Surely, they had to be a bit picky about the type of worlds they wanted to conquer to manage their numbers.
It would seem that the planets that could generate Origin Essence would be the ideal world to conquer so as to not waste energy.
This revelation was starting to make so much sense to Kael. It was understandable for Chloe to not have understood this, as a low-level lioness in heaven, the decision of what kind of world to conquer would usually be left to the lion kings.
"So that's how it is," Kael said with a look of wonder on his face.
"Yes, I've learned a lot from the info orbs alone," N'bayé nodded, "Chloe is currently looking for the Arkship.
It is very possible that if we find the place the Arkship resides, it is possible we will also find the Origin Essence vein or the path that leads down to the core of this Origin World.
That's what the worlds that can produce Origin Essence are called, Origin Worlds.
One thing is confusing though, the authors of that info orb stated that the beings on Origin Worlds would be exposed to a lot of Origin Essence, making them have an average power level that would usually be higher than this.
Actually, since this world we live in is an Origin World, the average power level of the lions here should be tier 3, yet we still have ordinary lions who haven't awakened their Lionhearts.
Not just lions, the average creature on this planet should be comparable to a tier 3 lion in theory.
The only reason we have so many high-level creatures around us today is because of coincidences that brought them together. The Paradise Beach, the alleged treasure in the ocean, your status as king, without those things, we would never have gathered so many high-level creatures in that period of time.
The majority of our forces have started ¹awakening their hearts but that is because of the many high-level corpses we got access to because of you
I conjecture that there is something blocking the Origin Essence on this planet from spreading, and it is very likely we would find the answer once we find that Arkship."
Kael sucked in a deep breath, then he exhaled, releasing a thick stream of air that shot forth from his mouth.
Now, it was making more sense.
In one of Noel's memories, when the lions had engaged the dragons in battle, Kael had seen that the weakest lion or lioness present at that scene was at tier 3.
At that time, it felt incredulous to him, but now, it made sense.
As long as there were enough resources, an average level would be tier 3 or equivalent. It was no wonder Chloe and the others from heaven had all been born with a power level of tier 3.
For the lion civilization residing in heaven, tier 3 was probably the bare minimum.
"Interesting," Kael said, bringing his hand up so that he could rub his chin, "So, if we can find the Arkship and potentially solve the issue, we would be doing the whole world a favor?"
"In theory, yes. But most of all, we have already begun establishing our regime, we would be the ones benefiting the most.
As long as we do everything right, it's only a matter of time before we successfully conquer the whole planet." N'bayé said.
Kael smiled, if he could achieve this, his chances of surviving the potential attacks of those lion kings would be increased by many margins.
"Here, I think I'll start with this one," N'bayé said as she finally settled on the info orbs she would study now based on priorities.
Kael looked at it.
[Rune Properties And Alphabets]
She had decided to focus on her individual strength first before anything else as that was the most important thing. Tier 4 was not the final stage, there were still tier 5, 6, and maybe 7.
"Katari," Kael turned to Katari who had just been staying beside Kael in silence.
"Yes," Katari answered.
"Go and find that lion called Xu Ying for me, tell him I'm ready to meet him. Also, let him know that I want all of them to be here." Kael said.
"Oh, okay," Katari nodded her head and immediately turned around. She would rather be with Kael though.
"Oh, and don't do anything violent, please," Kael added, knowing that there was a possibility that she would encounter Isaiah.
Kael felt it was high time he made some contact with the lion kings, now was the right time.
While he was unconscious, his heavenly beacon had already successfully fused with the lion system. Now, they have become one entity.
It was time to test some things out.
With that, Kael left N'bayé at the library while Katari headed out to complete her errand.
Kael on the other hand went straight to the throne level.
####
Outside the pocket dimension, at the place where the mountain used to be.
The area has changed vastly compared to how it used to be before.
The mountain, the symbol of the lion royalty and their base of command, once reaching high into the sky and always casting a shadow over the land every time the sun rose and set.
That mountain was gone, disappeared from the area like it never existed. If not that many of them had been there to witness what happened, they would have wondered how such an object so large could have disappeared into thin air.
Many creatures had remembered being forced away from the vicinity of the mountain one way or the other, after which the mountain had begun to crumble.
Cracks so wide that it would have swallowed multiple elephants spread out from different parts of the mountain. The mountain had soun slowly, the movement of such a large thing caused its integrity to falter.
There had already been many caves and tunnels inside the mountain, and there was even a long tunnel that had been formed from Baba ramming Kael through the mountain.
All this served to quicken the mountain's collapse that day.
And what replaced the mountain was a wide portal, nearly three hundred meters in diameter. The edge of the portal was dreamy and seemed to blend into the land, making one not know where the land ended or where the portal started from.
From the beginning, no one was allowed to enter the pocket dimension apart from some lions and a few caste leaders who had meetings with the lionesses.
The lion royalty had gotten a new base of command, one that couldn't be taken away from them so easily.
With each passing day, more creatures were accepting the lions as the prophesized royalty of her world.
Of course, there were rebels and many factions that slowly rose up to resist this philosophy and doctrine, but all was fine. The rebels mostly kept things interesting.
Above the portal to the pocket dimension, the Iron Blood Shuttle was parked, still as an iron cloud.
It served as some kind of deterrence to the many creatures who were bold enough to think of crossing the portal without any permission.
These days, no creature lived around here, most of the creatures here were envoys or guards that were supplied by the castes and rotated routinely.
All the castes have been moved away under the guidance of their leaders. It was at this moment that there was a bit of unrest as there were rumors that the king was going to impose a tribute policy.
It was a policy where each caste was required to sacrifice one or more of their members to the lion royalty to serve as food for the king and his people.
Naturally, most were upset about it, but it was expected. The tumor had been intentionally spread by Chloe, Priya, and N'bayé to prepare the castes for the day it actually happened.
Even lions had to eat.
If one glanced past the edges of the portal, they would be able to see the artificial sky of the pocket dimension mirroring the sky of the real world.
A section of the portal twisted slightly as a being of immense spatial powers crossed over.
Katari appeared at the edge of the portal with her ears upright and her tail swishing from left to right.
Her eyes scanned the few guards patrolling around, then at the red and black shuttle above.
After that, she teleported again, off to deliver her message.
