RAIWAN AGAINST THE DIVINE

Chapter 11: The Wrath of Divinants

Chapter 11: The Wrath of Divinants

Kabik plopped onto his butt when he finally took control of Lisa. Although it looked simple to onlookers, only he knew how drained he truly was. He hadn't just taken control of the body and mind of some sovereign—he had taken control of Lisa, the Sister of Death.

So, yes, he deserved a rest. And he took advantage of the moment to recover a little. He didn't need to care about the old sovereign because he now had Lisa.

Lisa was still lying down, but when he stood up, she also stood and walked toward him. She stopped in front of him, tilted her head back, and opened her mouth.

Kabik retrieved a potion bottle from his storage ring and poured its contents into her mouth. She gulped it down, and soon, vitality started returning to her face.

"Aren't you afraid she'll regain control?" one of his companions asked.

"Hey, don't look down on me, okay? I know what I'm doing, so you don't have to worry."

They all stood there, watching as Lisa shifted her gaze from Kabik to the other side of the battlefield, where Rahiq and the red sovereign's battle still raged on.

She lifted her foot off the ground.

"And here it comes," Kabik muttered, his face cracking into an ugly smile.

"Go, go and kill Rahiq. He's a bad man who deserves your rage, so don't restrain yourself."

Lisa turned toward the still-ongoing monstrous battle between Rahiq and the elderly red sovereign.

The moment her foot touched the ground, she was in front of Rahiq. She punched him in the face, sending him soaring through the air like an

arrow.

The punch carried paralyzing currents, and though Rahiq was only stunned for a second, in a battle between red sovereigns, a second could mean more than a minute.

The earth shot up, pulling him down and slamming him into the solidified ground.

And then the monstrous battle evolved into something far more devilish.

Rahiq was being pushed back again and again under the relentless assault of two red sovereigns.

It was remarkable how he had held his ground for so long against them. Maybe it was because he was also a red sovereign. Maybe it was because he knew their battle styles well.

How many times had he sparred with them in the past? Countless times.

He looked at Lisa, and a flood of emotions surged through him—rage, relief, confusion, sorrow.

He was sad for Lisa, who must have foreseen this.

Hadn't she once asked him, *"By whose hand would you like to die?"* And hadn't he answered, *"By your hands, of course."*

He had never thought she was serious.

At this moment, Rahiq fully believed Lisa's vision power was a curse.

What kind of life must she have lived, knowing she would one day be the one to kill the man she loved—yet not knowing why?

But there was no time for such thoughts in battle.

He focused.

The battle continued, and after a long, grueling fight,Lisa's sword finally pierced Rahiq's chest and heart.

This was the third time today—and the last.

Finally, Rahiq fell dead.

His body collapsed right in front of Lisa, and when she saw his corpse…

Kabik felt Lisa's resistance surge at an alarming rate, while his energy drained away at a terrifying speed.

A last-ditch effort.

Without hesitation, he lunged at Lisa and plunged his weapon into her chest, piercing where her heart should have been.

She too… fell lifeless.

Only then did everyone sigh in relief. Only then did they finally feel safe.

Kabik turned to the red sovereign. "What about those?"

She stared at the remaining San Razians. "Let them be. They were just Plan B from the beginning."

***

The San Razians had no idea what was happening. There had been too many explosions, too much dust and mist for them to see anything.

But then, the air barrier disintegrated, and utter silence fell over the land.

The remaining San Razians were clueless—gripped by terror.

Then, they saw pillars of light descending… and then disappearing.

They remained still.

***

At the same time, Raiwan and the jinn Idaam were in the midst of their escape from the world of Subraata to another world—any world, as

long as it wasn't Subraata or one of the Sobet planets.

A rounded magical shield enveloped them, protecting Raiwan in particular.

The jinn flapped his countless wings with such force that hurricanes formed with each almighty beat.

So far, the journey had been uneventful. But Idaam knew better than to be optimistic. He continued rushing forward, flapping his wings

as if death itself were chasing him.

And then an ominous feeling filled his heart.

Idaam spotted a black dot high up in the sky.

Before he could gather his thoughts, that tiny black dot became a meteor of destructive energy right in front of him.

A fist struck his face.

Thousands of kilometers of progress were instantly undone as Raiwan and Idaam plummeted downward.

They got separated, and the jinn struggled desperately to capture Raiwan again.

The attacker lunged once more.

Desperate, Idaam summoned an immense amount of mana, so much that the very air around him swirled.

The man understood what was happening and grew desperate as well.

Knowing the man was after Raiwan, Idaam changed tactics at the last moment.

He channeled all his gathered energy into a spell—Hyper Jump—on Raiwan.

Long, ribbon-like pieces of transparent blue cloth adorned with glowing runes wrapped around Raiwan, enveloping him.

At the same time, Idaam shielded him with his body to prevent interference.

Time seemed to slow as the attacker's veins visibly bulged, emitting a mixture of black and brown light across his body.

He punched the air.

A mass of destructive energy was unleashed.

All particles in its path were annihilated, torn apart. Idaam's body resisted briefly, but the energy was too overwhelming.

He was obliterated, his very cells separated from each other.

The energy reached the runic shield around Raiwan and struck just as the runic shield made a final ripple, Raiwan vanished.

The attacker rushed forward but halted where Raiwan had disappeared. He stood there, waiting, as if expecting something.

For more than an hour, he remained there standing on nothing.

Then—

"ARGHHHHHH!"

His scream tore through the air. The already destroyed particles were annihilated once more, erasing Idaam's remains floating around from existence.

The man stood still for a moment before lifting his fist. Around it, particles of light coalesced, forming a small black sphere that

emitted wisps of dark smoke.

He hurled it into the air.

The sphere expanded into a massive portal, and he stepped through it.

The portal sealed shut the moment he departed.

***

Somewhere, a bustling market thrived. People walked, bartered, and chattered in dense crowds.

Then…

At the center of it all, a circular energy ball made of glowing runes appeared, with a young boy floating upside down inside.

The sudden appearance sent four nearby groups flying as if they were scraps of paper caught in an explosion.

Some bystanders fled in fear, while others gathered around, curiosity overcoming caution.

The ball pulsed, sending out ripples of energy.

Intuition warned the onlookers to take a step back.

The ball pulsed once more—

And vanished.

***

Deep in a forest teeming with beasts, a similar energy ball materialized, holding the same boy at its center.

The beasts turned and lunged.

They bit, clawed, and struck at the orb, but each attack was repelled as it pulsed.

The entire forest fell eerily silent as the relentless assault continued.
