Chapter 13: Power and Strategy Games
"Before you leave, we must make a pact," Suhyeon said seriously. "I can't fully trust you."
Daniel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What kind of pact?"
[System] You are using the "Mutual Agreement" card.

Mark your target, and they will have to follow all your orders.
*Disappears once used.
*The target must accept the "Mutual Agreement."
Suhyeon smiled slightly. "A simple agreement. You won't tell anyone about what happened here. Do you accept?"
Daniel took a moment to think about it, then smiled wryly. "I accept, because if I fall... you will fall with me."
[System] The "Mutual Agreement" has been used on Daniel.
[System] Daniel now automatically belongs to your team.
Several days later.
Scene change: West School — Midday
After sealing the pact with Daniel, Suhyeon headed to the West School's strategy room, where his officers were already gathered, waiting for him. The tension in the air was palpable, and everyone knew that the battle against the East was about to begin.
We see Suhyeon sitting at a large table, surrounded by his officers on either side and his advisor at his side.
"This is the plan," he began to explain. "Jaeha will surely think that he now has us in the palm of his hand, having Seok Kang on his side, but he is completely wrong. In order to win this battle, we need to scatter his troops around his entire area, thus leaving Jaeha defenseless, and at that moment, Gukja and Hajun will spring into action at his main base."
"We'll be ready by then," said Gukja with a smile.
Hajun, on the other hand, just smoked and listened attentively.
"While the others will be attacking the other areas, as for me... I will fight Ryu Sikyung," Suhyeon continued, but was interrupted.
"Why are you going to face the number 3 in the East?" asked Jihyeon. "Shouldn't we go straight for Jaeha?"
"We don't need to worry about that," said Hajun, exhaling. "Gukja and I will take care of Jaeha. The two of us together will be able to defeat him without any problems."
Yugyeom nodded in agreement with Hajun.
"Ryu Sikyung isn't what he seems," Suhyeon replied. "He's an infiltrator from the North, working secretly to weaken the East from within. And I can tell you frankly that Ryu, the North's number 10, is much stronger than Jaeha."
"How do you know that?" Haru asked in surprise.
"I have my sources," Suhyeon said. "But the important thing is that if we can eliminate Ryu Sikyung, we will significantly weaken the East and gain an advantage in battle."
"As for Seok Kang," Suhyeon said with a smile, "we'll try to distract him. After all, he's an idiot." The others laughed at Suhyeon's comment.
"I see... sunbae," Hyeondong said, somewhat excited.
"After that, we'll make sure Jaeha isn't a problem," Suhyeon replied. "Gukja and Hajun should have taken care of him by then."
At that, Suhyeon rose from his seat and leaned forward slightly, placing his hands on the table as he looked at all his officers and said:
"Tonight we will attack the East, so get ready. Everyone must be in position. If for any reason you fail, you must resist as long as you can until you defeat your leader," said Suhyeon, concluding the planning.
"My lord," whispered Ji-hyuk, his advisor, as the other officers left.
"What is it, Ji-hyuk?" asked Suhyeon, noticing that his advisor was somewhat nervous.
"Sir, there is still something that concerns me greatly," he replied.
Suhyeon looked at him for a second and continued, "And why didn't you say so earlier in the meeting?"
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about in private. If I say it here, it might demotivate the others," Ji-hyuk commented.
"I understand. Come here for a moment," he said, as the two moved to a corner.
"The problem is this: I don't doubt your plan, but there's a major flaw in it. If we defeat the East, it's very possible that the North will attack us at our most vulnerable moment, and by then, we won't be able to do anything," Ji-hyuk exclaimed, breathing heavily.
"I see, I was thinking about that too, but you don't have to worry about it," he said with a smile, knowing he had his trump cards.
"So... what do you plan to do?" the advisor asked again.
"There are two reasons why the North, or rather Choyun, number 1, cannot attack me," said Suhyeon, placing his hand on his advisor's shoulder.
"Two reasons... don't tell me... you did what I told you earlier."
"Indeed, my good friend, I recruited Johan Seong. He's our wild card, and Choyun surely knows it already. The other reason, however, is a little more personal between him and me," Suhyeon explained, then turned and looked out the window toward North Gangbuk.
"As expected of you, my lord," he said, bowing at a 90-degree angle, a tear rolling down his cheek.
"He can't attack me, I... I have the system on my side," he thought, as the spike ♤ in his left eye flashed briefly.
"I'll see you soon, Choyun, and once I do... I'll finish you off!" he added.
Change of scene: Chaerin's apartment — Midday
Suhyeon paced around his room, holding his iPhone to his ear with his left hand while talking to his mother. His other hand clutched his hair, betraying a slight sense of stress. "Yes, Mom, I'm fine, don't worry, I'm taking care of myself... I've been gaining weight lately," he said, trying to sound convincing.
"Are you sure you're okay, son?" her mother asked through the iPhone, her tone concerned. "You have to eat well. Your sister is going to bring you lunch, just this once."
Suhyeon sighed wearily and replied, "There's no need to send Dahyun, you know very well that I'm not on good terms with her." At that moment, a girl wearing a black bra and panties approached him with a confident smile.
It was Baek Chaerin, the owner of the apartment and, apparently, someone with whom Suhyeon shared an intimate space.
When Suhyeon saw Chaerin approaching him with a flirtatious smile, he was so surprised that he accidentally hung up the call. Chaerin, with her dark, silky hair falling over her bare shoulders, laughed and moved even closer to him, invading his personal space. Her slender, toned body stood out in the black bra she was wearing, and Suhyeon couldn't help but notice the curve of her hips and the softness of her skin.
"Who were you talking to?" she asked, playing with Suhyeon's hair.
Suhyeon blushed slightly and pulled away a little, trying to regain his composure. "My mother," he replied, trying to sound casual.
Chaerin moved even closer, her warm breath on Suhyeon's neck, and began to play with the buttons on Suhyeon's shirt. Her soft, delicate hand brushed against Suhyeon's skin, sending a shiver down his spine.
"And what was she saying?" she asked, looking at him with bright, seductive eyes.
Suhyeon felt a little uncomfortable, but he also enjoyed Chaerin's attention. "Nothing important," he replied, trying to change the subject.
Chaerin laughed and moved even closer, until her lips were just inches from Suhyeon's. Her body pressed against Suhyeon's, and he could feel the warmth of her skin through her clothes.
"I think you should answer the phone when your mother calls," she said, her voice soft and seductive.
Suhyeon was drawn to Chaerin and wondered if he should kiss her. At that moment, he thought, "Damn it, Chaerin, are you trying to be in control?" He smiled slightly, feeling challenged. "Then I'll show you how this game is played."
