Primordial Lust System

Chapter 47: Wolf Den

Elsewhere within the Graeogor family compound, in a room lined with expensive furniture, an exasperated shriek rang out.

"She said he was what?!" A girl draped in an intricately patterned white robe fumed, the temperature in the room dropping dangerously, her eyes glowing a frosty blue. "And why didn't you tell me this sooner?"

"Calm down, Aurora!" Elder Varn muttered, his gaze steady on the girl before him. "Raging won't change anything. What's done is done. What you should be thinking about now is what you'll do about this." He whispered, a dark smile creeping across his lips.

"Yeah, I'll definitely do something about it. I'll crush him at the academy selection trials. I'll prove I'm better than he is, and when everyone sees it, they'll know I'm the real chosen one, not him. I don't care if he is dual-awakened, he'll never be anything more than F-rank trash."

"Good, good, good." He smirked, the words pleasing his soul. "Now all you need is the power to back your claim, and I know just the thing. Meet me here tomorrow, and then shall your true rise to power begin!" Elder Varn sighed inwardly. He had already invested too much in Aurora, and he wasn't about to stand by and watch it all crumble because of one anomaly.

"I will. I'll do whatever you say, as long as it grants me more power," Aurora whispered, reining in her temper, the temperature in the room climbing back once more. A storm was brewing, and she was sure she'd come out on top of it.

"Prepare yourself then. The second talent Aurelian awakened is not one to be scoffed at. To prove you're better than him, you'll need to put in far more work." Elder Varn snickered, his eyes alight with the anticipation of the forthcoming academy selections.

"Oh, shit, did you hear what I did?"

"What? Spit it out already!"

"Aurelian... he's a... dual-awakened!"

"Holy shit, what the fuck did you just say?"

"You heard me right, you dimwit, and it's possible his second awakened talent is S-rank."

"But... that's impossible... dual-rank awakened are freaking anomalies, only found within one in a thousand prodigies!"

"Argh, I'm fucked! I knew a guy that handsome couldn't be useless, but I just had to curse him as an F-rank piece of trash! Do you think he'll come for me?"

"Hmm, with that ugly face of yours, I bet he could remember you even if you turned to ashes. I say you're cooked!"

"Where is he right now? I have to apologize this instant! I was too blind."

"Wait? If that is right and he is no longer with Aurora... does that mean I have a shot with him? What do you fancy my chances with him now?"

"Dream on, bitch! He's too good for you. He's mine. I knew he was different from the very first time I laid my eyes on him."

Murmurs erupted through the Graeogor family residence. News of Aurelian's dual awakening, spread by the patriarch and elders, along with whispers of his S-rank talent, made it about time he got the respect he deserved. Hopefully, this would open a chance to mend their relationship with him. Whatever it took, he could not be turned into an enemy of the Graeogor family.

Elsewhere still in the Graeogor family residence.

"So it was an S-rank talent, huh?" A girl voiced out, her black eyes glimmering with admiration as a soft sigh escaped her lips.

"Amber, do you think we can ever repay him?" A girl pacing behind her squealed, a sense of gratitude welling up inside her. Without him, they would long have fallen in the dungeon.

"Yes, I'm willing to do anything to repay the debt. I owe him my life!" Another girl sporting short blonde hair muttered, her eyes flickering with determination, the feeling of being nothing more than dead weight not settling well with her.

"Me too." A meek voice rang out at the back as another girl walked forward, her eyes darting around uneasily. Whether to align with an S-rank talented figure or pay off a debt of gratitude, all five girls stepped forth, united in their determination.

"Well, actually I think there's something we can do." Amber snapped out of her daze, turning to the girls behind her, her colorful hair trailing gracefully. "But it requires dedication and commitment if we are to pull this off." She began, her eyes scanning the group of girls before her. "Are you prepared to do anything?"

Her words had barely parted from her lips before she was cut off.

"Anything!" Emily squealed, her blonde hair rippling from the sheer force of her words, the others nodding their heads, no different than chickens pecking grains—which, from another perspective, would call for a cute sight.

"Good!" Amber smiled before continuing, "I don't know if it's true, but there've been rumors that he was spotted heading to a... brothel."

"Uh?" Gasps rippled out from the girls, the thoughtful expressions etched on their faces quickly morphing to blushes, spreading to their necks as they processed the implication of her words.

Amber cleared her throat, suppressing the blush tingling at her cheeks. She continued, "I suppose you already know where I'm going with this. It may be a little extreme..."

"I'll do it, my body's his!" Emily shrieked, her voice ringing out, blushing uncontrollably as she hid her face behind her fingers right after saying that.

"I've never done it before, but if I must do it, I want my first time to be with him." Another girl voiced innocently.

"I... think... I can do it too." Another girl whispered. "If he requires my service, I'll do it."

"I... also... want to become a woman, uh, no, I mean I want to repay the debt..." The last girl at the back, draped in a black robe, whispered, blushing furiously.

Amber stared blank-eyed, her lips twitching. This had gone awfully smoother than expected, as if they had been thinking about it for a while. Discarding those thoughts, she found her voice before smiling. "It's agreed then. Once he comes back, we'll go meet up with him..." she whispered. In the end, the core mechanics driving their minds were simple: sex and battle were what the truly powerful craved.

"One ticket to the F-rank Wolf Den Dungeon," Aurelian breathed, his voice drifting from the cloak hiding his face to the two dungeon guards in front of him.

"That'll be ten gold." A gruff voice echoed. One of the guards replied, his eyes scanning the two figures hovering around Aurelian, but immediately shrank after stealing a glance at Seraphina. His figure straightened, faint beads of sweat threatening to break out of his face.

Grimacing at the price, he was about to reach into his interdimensional storage before Seraphina, who had been silent all this while, smirked and voiced out coyly, "What, you're not going to pay for me too?" Her emerald eyes blinked at him, no different than if he were some evil third-rate villain who had snatched candy from a kid.

"Huh? But stronger beings can't enter lower-ranked dungeons," Aurelian blurted, surprised.

"Nonsense! Who said that?" She smiled, staring intently at him.

"Aren't there supposed to be some dungeon mechanics or something?" Aurelian continued, his confusion growing. Was there truly a way for stronger beings to enter lower-ranked dungeons? And even if there was, why did he have to pay for her? Wasn't she some super powerhouse? And if he followed that train of thought, then she must have piles of treasure sitting around somewhere. Wasn't she the one who was supposed to pay then?

Multiple thoughts flared at the back of his mind. Before he could regain his bearings, another youth walked up in front of him, his eyes glued to Seraphina the whole time.

"Hmm, a cheap bastard, huh? Say, beauty, how about you come with me and I'll pay for your entrance ticket?" Draped in a golden robe, a sinister expression spread across his lips as the youth smirked.

"And you are?" Aurelian arched his brows, irritation boiling up inside him. The last thing he needed was a nobody inserting himself into his business straight out of nowhere.

Like, how bored did he have to be to jump around interrupting others like some arrogant young master?

Before he could reply, Seraphina suddenly gripped his arm, walking behind playfully before pointing at the youth as if unveiling a cosmic heresy.

"Aurelian! Quick, beat his ass! He's trying to flirt with me and steal me from you!!!" She said all this while giggling.

Unable to take it any longer, Aurelian breathed, "Here!" Withdrawing twenty golden coins. "Give me two tickets."

Handing one to her, he glared before murmuring, "Satisfied?" Suppressing the pain in his heart from watching almost all the meager coins he had left vanish, and with no desire to placate the feelings of some pompous ass, he walked right through the swirling green portal.

Seraphina followed closely behind him, a smile spreading across her lips as she snapped her fingers, the figures behind them exploding into bloody mists, leaving nothing but two terrified dungeon guards, before she playfully hopped into the swirling portal.
