Primordial God Of Time

Chapter 64: Return To The Immortal World! Terrified!

Kranos felt a wave of spatial fluctuations wash over him. The next moment, he appeared in a familiar environment where the air felt distinctly different. Kranos slowly opened his eyes, realizing he was back in the Immortal World.

However, his heart was far from calm. He could still recall the massive hand whose sheer weight alone could crush a planet. Kranos longed to possess such strength! He didn't feel the slightest bit of fear; it only strengthened his resolve to reach the peak of this world!

His thoughts then wandered to what had happened moments before he vanished. He still recalled how his Time Pause ability couldn't restrict the massive hand. He had also realized that even with the power to control time, at his current level, there were still limitations.

"It seems if the enemy is too strong, they can forcefully break out of my ability." Kranos couldn't help but ponder deeply. Suddenly, he heard a startled voice coming from beside him.

"Is this… the Immortal World?" It was a male voice. Kranos turned to look at the man, realizing it was a kid of similar age to him. The kid looked extremely disheveled, as though he had been through countless trials.

He then glanced around and noticed his surroundings. They had appeared in a large grassland that encompassed everyone. He noticed that he and the young boy weren't the only ones there; there were countless other cultivators.

Kranos also noticed some familiar faces: his cousins. And there were a few people he recognized from before the descent. He realized that their appearance had changed greatly, and they seemed to have matured slightly.

Kranos was also curious what kind of world the others had descended to. There was also the fact that he didn't encounter any other cultivators like himself.

Although he felt something was amiss, he didn't think too much about it, since the teleportation was random. Perhaps by coincidence, no one appeared on the same planet as him.

At this moment, a calm voice resonated in everyone's ears,

"Welcome, first-year students of the Royal Cultivators Academy."

Kranos's gaze was immediately drawn to a cultivator hovering in mid-air as he spoke.

Although he didn't know the cultivation realm of the figure, he could guess that the figure was undoubtedly powerful since he was able to fly. It was a middle-aged man whom he was familiar with. Upon closer inspection, Kranos immediately realized it was the Dean.

The Dean smiled slightly as he stared at the group of students. His gaze paused slightly on Kranos, and a weird expression flashed across his face for a fleeting moment. After all, Kranos was dressed in black robes and had a mask on his face; it didn't seem like he had done anything good during his descent.

The Dean didn't think too much about it, and his gaze continued to scan the crowd.

"You all did well. Unfortunately, we lost some of you; however, the number of students enrolling this year is still much higher," the Dean noted.

"Since you have successfully passed the trial, I will tell you what you will be doing while at the academy. From your token, we will be able to calculate how many merit points you obtained. These merit points can be used to purchase cultivation resources, attend lessons, and many more, as you will slowly explore."

"Similarly, based on your cultivation realms, you will be grouped into classes: Alpha and Beta, for those in the Qi Condensation Realm and Foundation Establishment Realm respectively. As for those in the Golden Core Realm, you can directly take a test to enter the second year."

"However, it is preferable for you to spend some months in the first year and gain some basic knowledge which will not be taught in the second year."

The Dean didn't talk much, and after he was done, he turned to an elder who had appeared midway during his speech and spoke before vanishing,

"Elder Rotund will lead you to your dorm rooms where you'll be staying."

Kranos and the others looked at the elder. He seemed quite fat under his blue robe and had a long beard; his eyes looked slightly mischievous.

He turned to Kranos and the others, who numbered more than 500, and said,

"Those of you at the Qi Condensation Realm, wait behind. When I'm done, I will show you to your dorm rooms."

Soon after, the number of cultivators decreased drastically to over a hundred.

Immediately after, the elder led Kranos and the others through the forest, and after navigating their way for a few meters, they finally appeared in what seemed like a large, mountain-like structure.

Kranos's eyes immediately widened at the number of buildings present; there were too many, numbering past a hundred.

As soon as they reached, the elder said to them,

"Pick a room and rest. In a week's time, your seniors will come and show you to your classes, as well as the shopping pavilion." FindthesourceofthischapteratM|V|L-EMPYR.

After saying a few things, the elder then disappeared in a gust of wind, leaving the stunned students.

Everyone stood, with no one daring to be the first to move; no one wanted to draw attention to themselves.

Kranos pondered for a bit. He didn't want his house to be on the outskirts of the buildings; in case something happened, he wouldn't have to bear the full brunt of the attack. The same applied to living at the further end.

In that case, he decided to pick a building at the center.

Not willing to hide his strength and let others pick on him, Kranos's figure immediately faded.

Everyone was immediately stunned.

"Who's that guy?" a puzzled voice rang out.

"To think he possesses the space element?"

"Yeah, such a rare elemental affinity actually appeared here! By the way, did anyone notice that he looked like a robber?"

"That's true, don't tell me he actually used his space element for that?"

"Now that you mentioned it, that isn't such a bad idea."

Following Kranos's departure, the other cultivators began choosing their homes one after the other.
