Just as Robert and Charmander arrived at an intersection, they heard voices coming from the woods ahead.
Upon hearing this, Robert raised his hand to signal Charmander to follow his footsteps. He crouched slightly and slowly walked towards the woods, intending to see which Pokémon had made the sound.
As soon as Robert pushed aside the leaves in front of him, he saw two types of Pokémon in the dense forest ahead. One was a bug with a single horn about five centimeters long on the front of its head, and the other was a motionless, earth-yellow cocoon hanging on a tree.

Now that he had found his target, Robert slowly retreated several meters with Charmander to avoid alarming the group. He knew better than to rush in recklessly.
The reason?
Simple—during his earlier scan, he noticed multiple Beedrill hiding among the leaves. With just Charmander and a weakened Pidgey, he stood no chance against them. He needed a strategy.
After retreating from the dense forest, Robert took the Luxury Ball containing Pidgey from his belt and released it.
With a flash of red light, Pidgey emerged.
"Bo Bo!"
At first, Pidgey assumed there was an imminent battle, but after scanning the surroundings and seeing no immediate opponents, it turned to Robert in confusion.
"Pidgey, I need you to do something important," Robert said, waving for Pidgey to come closer.
"Bo Bo!" Pidgey chirped, still puzzled but willing to listen.
"Here's the plan..."
As Robert detailed his strategy, Pidgey's and Charmander's eyes widened in shock.
By the time Robert finished explaining, the two Pokémon exchanged looks, silently questioning their trainer's sanity. However, their trust in him prevailed.
"Alright, you two got it? If so, let's proceed."
"Wow!" Charmander nodded confidently.
"Bo Bo!" Pidgey followed suit.
Seeing their determination, Robert smirked and found a hidden spot to observe from. After all, he had no intention of standing out in the open and getting swarmed by angry Beedrill.
Now, it was time to put his plan into action.
