Pokemon The Mirage Of Illusions

"...I swear this world wants me to have a heart attack.."

"The world?"

"It doesn't matter!"

"And what did you do to him?" I grab Swinub out of Pibu's hand and start to give him a look over. "Nothing major! I found him at the beach, he was over by these chairs and looking out towards some Poke bar. So I scooped him up and we got some, but I couldn't find where the chairs went so I just kept him with me!"

I start to comb through Swinub's fur with my claws gently pulling out a small amount of sea weed. "So your telling me you grabbed a potentially random Pokemon and then didn't even look for their trainer after your one landmark disappeared?"

"Well he wasn'-" 

"I'm not finished. Then after kidnapping a innocent and as you can see Baby Pokemon you just took them with you? And what did you do while you had a not even 3 month old baby with you?"

"Well after the Poke bar we went-"

"Shut up. I know what you did. You then decided that you were bored and as such you were going to leave Gold wherever he was and go off to impress the surfing Pikachu with your amazing skills!"

"How did you-"

"I'm not finished." At this point in my interrogation both Gold and Amelia have start to scratch their heads at Pibu's backing up from me and the sweat starting to leak off of him dampening his fur.

"Should we stop that?" Amelia turns to gold in a whisper. "Nah, he deserves it." Gold answers back and turns away and pulls out a Pokegear and some...Slot machine sound affects start playing. "Your Pokemon is getting severely...Bullied? No, interrogated, and the only thing you do is gamble?" Amelia of course says this in a whisper to attempt to not hurt anyone's feelings but her whisper is everyone elses normal volume.

"So after dangerously surfing and putting a baby at risk you decide to follow the Pikachu in diving because of what?" continuing on the interrogation Pibu responds differently to this question and turns slightly redder.

"Ohh. I see you found a nice Pichu also there and you wanted to show off huh? Don't worry you'll get to show off, but instead of your surfing and diving skills it'll be your bandages and bruises!"

At that Pibu makes a dash for it and while I can't move too quickly with Swinub sat in my head fur Pibu quickly moves and rams into Gold's side and crashes into a Pokeball that returns him.

"Damn right. Next time I see you, your life will be on the line!" I shout over at Gold loud enough so Pibu can hear me in there before turning away, hopping onto the doorknob to open it and hopping back down before exiting the room.

"Owwww!" Gold on the ground and slightly clutching at his side as Amelia tries to help pick him up.

The next morning is uneventful one as Gold decides to watch our match against Whitney to his slight reluctance.

"You still haven't told me why you don't like Whitney?" On the way to the gym which is around a 20 minute walk Amelia and Gold talk the entire time to my slight annoyance.

'I just don't like Gold's voice. It's the male puberty voice but somehow even worse. I can't explain it but take the Sun and Moon or maybe original voice of Ash and make it fluctuate more. I don't really like Pibu's voice either since it's essentially a carbon copy of Gold's voice but at least it isn't puberty ridden.'

"Well she's pretty nice overall its just that she's annoying! I mean I have never met anyone else with a fasination over cute Pokemon like she does. In fact her Gym can't be called a pure Normal type Gym because she uses Pokemon like Nidorina and Clefairy in her battles because their cute!"

Gold and Amelia walk ahead while I walk slightly off to the side allowing me room to carry both Swinub, whose been sufficiently cleaned and no long smells like salt and Cetoddle since she couldn't resist hopping on my back after seeing Swinub on my head.

'I need to update my journal soon. I need to put in both Cetoddle and Swinub's entries, just for health reasons. They seem to be growing well and Swinub is almost a foot long now so he should be getting out of the baby stage pretty soon. While Cetoddle is probably halfway there if I had to say.'

While I tune out on gold and Amelia's conversation we end up right at the "Normal" type Gym.

"See I told you! I can't see a hint of white here and it has a hand painted image of a damn Togepi on the Gym!"

'I thought he was exaggurating. It truly is a Pink type Gym.'
