Check Out My Pokémon Training Method is Definitely Not Normal!

Jacob and Nina argued for a long time, but in the end, Jacob was unable to stop her. She was determined to help Jacob hatch Axew. She insisted that after persisting for so many days, she couldn't give up at the last moment.

Three days later, Axew hatched successfully, but Nina became thinner and thinner, looking more haggard by the day, which was truly distressing to see.

[Axew]

Gender: Male

Type: Dragon

Qualification: Champion

Combat Power: Ordinary

Moves: Bite, Leer, Take Down, Dragon Rage, Feint Attack, Outrage, Defense Curl, Iron Tail, Aqua Tail, Focus Energy

Axew's final evolution is Haxorus, which has always been a very popular Pokémon in both games and anime.

In the anime, Haxorus is Iris's ace Pokémon among the eight masters. Although it's not a pseudo-legendary dragon Pokémon, its strength is not inferior to those pseudo-legendaries.

In the game, Haxorus's physical Attack stat is among the highest of all Pokémon. Excluding Legendary Pokémon and Ultra Beasts, among all non-Mega evolutions, only Slaking, Rampardos, Galarian Darmanitan - Zen Mode, and Basculegion - Male Form have higher Physical Attack stats than Haxorus.

Among these, there's no need to mention Slaking, whose base stats are ridiculously high, far exceeding those of ordinary Pokémon, but its Truant ability limits its performance. Rampardos has only strong physical attacks, while its other abilities aren't very impressive.

The remaining Galarian Darmanitan needs to change its form, and Basculegion also requires form change, both having their restrictions.

But Haxorus is different. While it has a high physical attack of 147 points, it also has very powerful characteristics. Additionally, it can learn Dragon Dance and has a respectable Speed stat of 97, making Haxorus always a popular choice in battle. The only drawback is that Dragon-type moves have too many resistances, and as a single-type Pokémon, Haxorus is at a slight disadvantage.

Jacob looked at Axewwho was jumping around in front of him with mixed feelings. He gently touched Axew's forehead and placed him into the Poké Ball. At this point, Jacob was only one step away from completing the Dragon Pokémon Master mission.

The six A-level Dragon Scales rewarded by the system also arrived immediately. Jacob did not hesitate and immediately equipped A-level Dragon Scales on his three Dragon-type Pokémon. Because Charmeleon and Grovyle didn't have the Dragon type, Jacob didn't equip them with A-level Dragon Scales. Now Jacob still had three A-level Dragon Scales left.

Looking at the three A-level Dragon Scales in his hand, he took out one to give to Nina and kept the remaining two as backup. However, Jacob felt that giving only one A-level Dragon Scale wasn't enough to express his gratitude to Nina.

Jacob felt he needed to give something else, but what could he give?

After thinking it over for a while, Jacob finally decided to give the Swablu Egg to Teacher Nina. He didn't have anything else of value to give away. It just so happened that the Swablu Egg had not hatched yet due to the influence of the rich dragon energy around it, so it would be the perfect gift for Teacher Nina.

Jacob had always adhered to a philosophy: never let those who truly care about him suffer losses. People don't live in this world just for themselves!

Since Teacher Nina had been so kind to him, Jacob was willing to give this precious Swablu Egg to her. The care between friends and family should be mutual. You can't always enjoy the kindness of others without giving back.

When Jacob thought of this, he also thought of his brother. He still had a spot in the selection, and he wanted to use it to choose a powerful Fire-type Pokémon for his brother!

...

That night, Jacob skillfully walked into Teacher Nina's house with two gift boxes. Teacher Nina was lying lazily on the sofa, watching TV listlessly. After entering the house, Jacob changed his shoes and placed the gift boxes on the table.

For convenience, Jacob had bought himself a pair of slippers. Teacher Nina did not object, or perhaps she pretended not to notice.

Nina had now become accustomed to Jacob coming to her home. He came to cook for her every day, three meals a day. She strongly opposed it at first, but after three days, she gradually got used to the meals Jacob prepared.

Although she still told Jacob not to come after every meal, when it was time for dinner, she didn't cook herself but just waited for Jacob to arrive, prepare the food, and call her to eat.

This made Jacob slightly contemptuous. Women are indeed creatures who say one thing and mean another. They clearly want him to come, but they don't say it. However, Jacob was willing to do this. Compared with the help that Teacher Nina gave him, these little things he did were just a drop in the bucket.

"You guys go train in the yard," Jacob instructed as he released his five Pokémon.

"Axew!"

The other Pokémon obediently went to the yard, but Axew ran to Nina's side and rubbed against her affectionately. Compared to Jacob as his trainer, Axew was more familiar with Nina and had a deep attachment to the human who had saved him.

"Axew, go to the yard to train and don't disturb Teacher Nina's rest," Jacob called out.

"Axew!"

Following Jacob's order, Axew affectionately rubbed Nina's palm once more, then reluctantly ran to the yard to train.

Nina had a Haxorus of her own, and now she had completely taken on the role of Axew's mentor.

...

An hour later, the food was ready, with a delicious aroma filling the air. Nina, who was lying on the sofa, smelled the fragrance and secretly swallowed her saliva.

"Time to eat."

When she heard Jacob calling her, she got up with difficulty and walked to the dining area.

Nina immediately noticed the two gift boxes on the table, one large and one small, which were obviously carefully packaged.

Since Jacob had brought these two gifts, they were obviously for her. Nina's heart was racing, but she still pretended to be calm and acted as if she didn't see the gifts on the table.

"A gift for you," Jacob said. "Thank you, Teacher Nina, for taking care of me for so long."

"What is this? Why did you suddenly think of giving me a gift?" Nina asked after taking a sip of porridge.

"Just open it and you'll know," Jacob said with a smile.

"I don't want it," Nina kept looking at the gift box while saying no.

Jacob watched this scene with a slight smile on his face. The more he got to know Teacher Nina, the more he realized that she was actually quite tsundere. Yes, she was definitely tsundere.

Although she appeared to be a cool and elegant goddess, she was actually quite prideful. She was clearly looking forward to the gift, but still claimed she didn't want it.

"Open it," Jacob insisted, placing the gift box into Nina's hands. She reluctantly took the box and opened it.

The first small gift box contained an A-grade Dragon Scale. When Nina opened the gift box and saw the glittering A-grade Dragon Scale, she frowned slightly.

"A Dragon Scale?" Nina picked it up and examined it carefully, her brows furrowing deeper.

"Is this an A-grade Dragon Scale?" Nina looked at Jacob seriously and asked.

"Yes," Jacob nodded honestly, not trying to hide anything from Teacher Nina.

"Why are you giving it to me? Your Pokémon need this Dragon Scale more, especially Fang and Shelgon. The Dragon Scale can accelerate their growth." Nina looked at Jacob seriously and said, "I don't want this. Take it back."

Seeing Nina's serious expression, Jacob had already prepared an excuse. He whispered, "I went to the underground black market again last weekend and found six A-level Dragon Scales. I've already given them to Noibat, Dreepy, and Axew. You can keep this one."

"Really?" Nina looked skeptical, obviously not believing Jacob. "You bought that many?"

"If you don't believe me, you can go and see for yourself," Jacob suggested.

"I'll go take a look," Nina said, clearly not believing what Jacob had told her, as she prepared to go to the yard to check.
