Chapter 159: Chapter 159 – That Gorgeous Ass... Definitely Worth Developing
Kazuki frowned slightly at her words, clearly confused. "Another miracle potion? Are you handing those out wholesale or what? Got more to spare?"
If there was free loot, Kazuki wasn't about to miss his chance to scam some extra.
"Just two," Cassandra's grandmother immediately dashed his hopes.
"Miracle potions are usually brewed in quantities of three or fewer, depending on personal preference."
"Back when I lost to Agatha, I gave up on competing, so I kept the second one."
"Your Haunter was thrown into a chaotic state because of that strange move."
"And my potion has calming effects—it helps stabilize a Pokémon's mental state."
"So giving it to your Haunter was the perfect choice."
Hearing how rare the potion was, Kazuki couldn't contain his excitement and pressed further.
"So... will my Haunter get giant like your Tangrowth too?"
Cassandra's grandmother glanced at his eager face and snorted. "Greedy little brat."
"My miracle potion already helped your Haunter suppress the backlash from that weird move and boosted its power. What more do you want?"
Kazuki chuckled. "You can never have too many good effects, right?"
"And hey, if Haunter really did grow to the size of Tangrowth, wouldn't that just crush all competition?"
"Giant form?" Cassandra's grandmother shook her head.
"Don't get your hopes up. My potion doesn't grant gigantification."
"Tangrowth got that way because it merged with the mountain itself."
"Your Haunter being able to keep its mind stable is already more than enough."
Kazuki looked a little disappointed but quickly regained his grin. "Fair enough. A power-up is a power-up. Thanks, Granny."
He switched back to "Granny" at the end, finally giving her due respect.
She nodded, then added seriously, "Oh, and Kazuki—don't rush to evolve Haunter into Gengar."
"From what I've seen, once it evolves, that same move will multiply in power exponentially."
"And so will the chance of backlash."
"If Gengar ends up suffering backlash like Haunter... it won't just be one person paying the price."
"Kid, I gave your Haunter my most precious potion—because I truly believe it'll outshine Agatha's Gengar one day."
"So take good care of your Haunter. Don't be in such a rush. Don't waste what I've given you."
"Got it, got it," Kazuki nodded, thoughts already racing.
That thousand-year-old Gastly had warned him with a lazy grin about being careful after evolution.
He'd thought it was just a joke.
Turns out it was dead serious.
Guess I'd better be cautious with the Linking Cord from now on...
"Alright, let's head down the mountain. If we stay too long, your three girlfriends will start to worry," Cassandra's grandmother said with a wave of her cane.
Tangrowth extended a massive vine, forming a shortcut path along the cliffside.
"Yeah, sure!" Kazuki answered casually—then did a double take. "Wait, three?"
"Who else came?"
"Delia?"
"Melanie?"
"Don't tell me... Sabrina?!"
The thought of that yandere girl made Kazuki shudder all the way down.
Thanks to the vine shortcut, Kazuki and Cassandra's grandmother soon returned to the courtyard at the foot of the mountain.
Back inside, Kazuki immediately activated his Aura Power to scan the area. Only when he confirmed Sabrina wasn't here did he finally relax and step into the courtyard.
Inside were only Cassandra, Misty, and Suzie.
Misty had just finished her daily detox and was now resting on a stone bench.
Cassandra had just stepped out of her room, now back in her red long pants.
Cassandra's grandmother noticed this and immediately scolded her.
"Cassandra, why'd you change out of that skirt again?"
"That skirt looked so nice on you—why switch back to those boring pants?"
"Huh?" Cassandra looked confused, wondering if her grandma was suddenly losing it.
"Didn't you just say it was too revealing? That it looked like I was desperate to get pregnant with Kazuki's—"
She bit her lip, too embarrassed to finish.
"Pregnant? Heh, what's the harm in that?" Cassandra's grandmother cut her off, her voice playful.
"Kazuki's a fine young man—I really like him."
"If you actually get pregnant, I wouldn't object at all."
"Grandma!" Cassandra's face turned crimson.
Misty and Suzie, standing nearby, were utterly speechless.
"What happened to Cassandra's grandmother's whole villainous vibe earlier?"
"She dragged Kazuki off to the mountain looking like she was about to kill him!"
"And now she's back acting like... this?"
Cassandra herself looked flustered by the sudden shift. She stepped forward, voice hushed.
"Grandma, weren't you all serious and grim when you took Kazuki up the mountain? Why are you...?"
"Was I?" Cassandra's grandmother gave her a sidelong glance.
"I always sound like this, don't I?"
Cassandra, Misty, and Suzie all stood there blank-faced, clearly shocked by her flip in attitude.
Cassandra mumbled quietly, "Grandma... are you sick or something? You've been acting real weird today..."
"Enough nonsense!" Cassandra's grandmother waved her hand, her tone taking on a hint of urgency.
"Cassandra, go change into that skirt again!"
"You've got a body worth showing off—why not now?"
"Now?" Cassandra blinked, confused.
"What do you mean 'now'? What's special about now?"
Cassandra's grandmother didn't answer. She simply nudged Cassandra with her cane toward the house.
With no choice, Cassandra was pushed back into her room.
Moments later, she reappeared—back in that ultra-short skirt, her slender, snow-white legs once again on full display...
The moment she put it on, her face turned a little pink, her eyes unconsciously drifting toward Kazuki.
Kazuki's heart skipped a beat as he took in her hourglass waist and long, delicate legs.
Cassandra really did have a stunning figure.
No surprise—gathering herbs in the mountains all day had given her the kind of body others could only dream of.
Staring at her fair, supple skin, Kazuki couldn't help imagining the future.
Cassandra hesitated, then stepped slowly toward him, face flushed, voice soft and a little sweet.
"Come on, Kazuki. Let's continue today's training."
Kazuki suddenly remembered—everyone had exhausted themselves earlier fighting Tangrowth. They hadn't recovered yet.
Before he could reply, Cassandra's grandmother interjected.
"Cassandra, Kazuki's a bit tired today. Let him rest."
"Tired?" Cassandra paused, then looked at Kazuki with concern.
"Grandma, did you make him do heavy labor again?"
"He's still poisoned! He shouldn't be pushing himself!"
Cassandra's grandmother chuckled and tapped Cassandra's forehead teasingly.
"Look at you, little girl, already fussing over your man?"
"I've raised you all these years, and I've never seen you worry this much about me!"
"Grandma! He's not my— I mean, my... man... ah!" Cassandra's face went scarlet again. She couldn't look at Kazuki, only bowing her head as she murmured with concern.
"Just... just rest well, Kazuki. I'll go train with Suzie and Misty."
With that, Cassandra turned and walked shyly out of the courtyard. Her ultra-short skirt limited her stride, so she couldn't run—just walked with small, careful steps.
Kazuki watched her retreating back with obvious appreciation.
"Not bad, huh?" Cassandra's grandmother suddenly leaned over, smirking. "Waist is a 5.9, legs long and lean. The butt's a little small though—probably not the best for childbirth."
"But you're pretty strong, right? Shouldn't be a problem!"
Kazuki chuckled at her totally inappropriate commentary. "Old hag, what kind of grandma talks about her granddaughter like that?"
"What's wrong with an honest review?" Cassandra's grandmother knocked her cane on the ground.
"Cassandra's at marrying age. I'm her only living elder—of course I gotta think about her future."
"Relax, I'm just messing with you. You youngsters figure it out yourselves. This old woman's done trying to keep up."
With that, she strolled off, cane tapping lightly on the stone path.
"This old hag... really is something else," Kazuki muttered, shaking his head.
"Hard to believe someone with this kind of attitude once got their soul shattered by one loss to Agatha."
He turned his gaze back to Cassandra's swaying hips as she walked.
That tight little ass... definitely full of potential.
And now that her grandma was on board?
Yeah—Kazuki was seriously starting to consider how best to explore it...
