Chapter 91: A Sense of Helplessness, the Use of the Legendary Summon Card!

"What's with this kid's Pokémon? How are they so extraordinary?"

Watching Manaphy command the Pokémon of the ocean, Athena felt a surge of disbelief.

There's a secret here, she thought.

No matter.

She was the only champion level Trainer on the scene. If there was ever a chance to complete her mission, it was now.

With that thought, she released a large Arbok.

Its arrival brought an overwhelming sense of pressure.

Through Aura, Hikaru felt the oppressive energy emanating from this Pokémon and turned to face it.

The towering Arbok, several meters long, slithered forward with a hiss, its patterns writhing, its eyes piercing, and its tail swaying menacingly.

Beside it stood a woman radiating confidence.

She approached the fake Rocket members, who froze in terror.

"Do you recognize me?"

Her fiery hair, alluring face, and domineering presence were unmistakable.

"Of course! Athena, one of Team Rocket's four Elites…" one of the imposters stammered.

Athena sneered. Someone dared to impersonate Team Rocket? Outrageous.

She delivered a swift kick to each of the imposters, leaving them groaning in pain.

Through his Aura, Hikaru confirmed her identity.

Athena of Team Rocket... no wonder her Pokémon is so strong!

Athena noticed Hikaru watching her and smiled coldly.

"Give up quietly, boy. Resistance is futile."

She released a Victreebel.

"Victreebel, Sleep Powder!"

"Arbok, Poison Sting!"

White Sleep Powder drifted through the air, threatening to blanket the entire area.

"Charizard, Fire Spin!"

A circle of white flames erupted, incinerating the powder before it could spread.

However, many passengers succumbed to the residual powder and fell asleep.

"Lucario!"

Lucario activated Kaioken, preparing to fight, but Hikaru stopped him using Aura.

This was no ordinary battle—it was life or death.

Hikaru held a black "?" card in his hand and activated it.

"Mana!" (Bad woman!)

Manaphy glared at Athena but shrank back in fear as Arbok's piercing glare caused her to cry and hide in Latias's embrace.

Though the prince of the sea, Manaphy was still just a newborn, lacking strength and confidence.

Athena smirked. "It's no use. Hand over Manaphy and save yourself some pain."

Arbok unleashed a simple Poison Sting attack.

Hikaru's heart raced.

"Gardevoir, Protect! Charizard, Flamethrower! Greninja, Water Shuriken! Lucario, Aura Sphere!"

Their combined efforts barely neutralized Arbok's attack.

The gap in power was insurmountable.

Athena was stunned.

These Pokémon are still in the Gym-level range, yet they're holding their own against an champion-level attack? Remarkable!

"Impressive, but still futile. Arbok, Poison Sting Barrage!"

Hundreds of poisonous stingers rained down.

"Teleport!" Hikaru commanded.

With Gardevoir and Latias working together, they evaded the attack.

However, teleporting with so many Pokémon in tow left them exhausted.

Arbok didn't let up. Coiling its body, it increased its attack power and accuracy.

A gleam of malice appeared in its eyes.

Arbok moved at blinding speed.

Even with Aura's assistance, Hikaru couldn't keep up.

In an instant, Arbok struck Greninja and Charizard.

The venom seeped into Greninja, leaving it poisoned and incapacitated.

"Greninja!"

"Charizard!"

A Murkrow appeared in the sky, using Foul Play to knock out both Charizard and Lucario in one blow.

Hikaru's heart sank.

This is impossible...

"Arbok, target the blue Pokémon!" Athena called.

She held several black Poké Balls, ready to capture Manaphy.

"You'll never take it!" Hikaru shouted.

"Latias, take Manaphy and run!"

"No, Hikaru!"

Latias transformed into her true form and positioned herself in front of Arbok.

"A Latias? So it was you who caused trouble for my subordinates!" Athena exclaimed.

Assessing Latias's energy, Athena quickly realized she was still in a weakened state.

"Arbok, Poison Sting!"

As the attack flew toward Latias, the ocean beneath them began to churn.

From the depths, an enormous figure approached, radiating an aura of overwhelming power...
