"Charizard, Flamethrower! Kadabra, focus your psychic power!"

"Arcanine, use Flare Blitz!"

"Blissey, keep using Light Screen and support!"

The trainers' voices rang out, coordinating their Pokémon to strengthen their offensive. Despite their efforts, Charizard and the others struggled to gain the upper hand against Gengar.

In a desperate attempt to restrain the ghostly Pokémon, Tyson called on Kadabra to join the assault. Yet, even Charizard's powerful Flamethrower had no effect.

Gengar waved its claws menacingly, easily deflecting the attacks as it closed in on Charizard.

"Charizard, use Flame Charge to boost your speed and keep your distance!"

Tyson directed Charizard to disengage and rely on speed to buy time. Meanwhile, Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy didn't let up, commanding Arcanine and Blissey to attack with all their might.

The Flame Charge had significantly increased Charizard's speed, allowing it to outmaneuver Gengar. Combined with Arcanine and Blissey's support, they hoped to exhaust Gengar's strength.

But just as the tide seemed to turn, Gengar let out a chilling roar. Its shadowy form condensed, becoming more solid and foreboding. With a menacing glare, it surged forward, faster than before.

"Charizard, use Fire Blast!"

Tyson's command came quickly, and Charizard unleashed the fiery attack. However, Gengar broke through effortlessly, brushing aside Arcanine and Blissey's assaults as well.

As Gengar closed in on Charizard, Kadabra swiftly used Ally Switch, teleporting Charizard to safety. Gengar reacted immediately, altering its trajectory and narrowing the gap once again.

Now completely unhinged, Gengar seemed to channel all its vitality into raw power. The energy radiating from it was undeniable—Gengar had reached a level of strength comparable to a Champion's Pokémon.

"Arcanine, intercept Gengar and draw its attention!"

Officer Jenny's voice rang out as her Arcanine charged fearlessly, undeterred by Gengar's monstrous aura.

Her resolve was clear—Tyson had called for help, and she would ensure Charizard's survival, even at great personal risk.

"Kadabra, prioritize using Ally Switch and Teleport to keep everyone safe!"

Tyson grabbed Officer Jenny before she could rush forward. Trusting Kadabra's psychic abilities, he devised a strategy to hold Gengar at bay while minimizing risks.

Through telepathy, Tyson communicated with Kadabra, even upgrading its mastery of Ally Switch using a hidden system ability. With newfound precision, Kadabra deftly swapped Arcanine out of harm's way and teleported to safety.

"Arcanine, keep using Fire Blast to weaken Gengar's power!"

Tyson's instructions were calm and calculated, even in the face of Gengar's relentless assault. The combined efforts of Charizard and Arcanine were slowly chipping away at Gengar's strength, but it was a battle of attrition, and time wasn't on their side.

Kadabra, overexerted from constant teleportation, was starting to falter. Tyson could feel its exhaustion through their telepathic link. The fight had reached a critical juncture—would Gengar's vitality burn out first, or would Kadabra's psychic energy give way?

Sensing the shift, Gengar began evading their attacks with unnerving agility. Tyson adjusted his tactics, instructing Charizard to switch to Flamethrower, spreading the flames over a wider area to limit Gengar's mobility.

But Gengar, now regaining some clarity, redirected its assault. It ignored Arcanine and instead targeted Kadabra.

"Charizard, Dragon Rush!"

As Tyson recalled Kadabra to its Poké Ball, Charizard dove to intercept Gengar. But Gengar had anticipated this, feinting toward Kadabra only to lash out at Charizard with its claws.

Time seemed to freeze as Gengar's claws struck, aimed straight for Charizard's chest. Neither Officer Jenny, Nurse Joy, nor Tyson could intervene in time.

Yet Charizard, far from panicking, braced itself. Just before Gengar could land a decisive blow, an ominous figure materialized between them.

Another Gengar.

With a wave of its shadowy hand, the new Gengar dissipated the attack, effortlessly neutralizing the berserk Pokémon.

"Who…?"

Tyson turned toward the source of this new force. An elderly woman emerged from the shadows, her presence commanding and overwhelming.

Despite her frail appearance, she exuded an aura of immense power. Beside her stood the Champion-level Gengar, its gaze cold and unyielding.

"Agatha…" Tyson whispered, recognizing one of the Elite Four.

The situation had changed dramatically, and with Agatha's intervention, the chaotic battle was now under control.
