Pokemon: Bond Evolutions of Pokémon

Lilycove City—

This place was a metropolis hub known as the edge of the land and the beginning of the sea, a very fitting name.

Sure enough, as soon as the group arrived there, they noticed a very large promotional poster for the Pokémon Contest that was happening here very soon. Judging from it, the event day was just tomorrow, so they made it here just on time to sign up their names.

This also means that Ash only has one day left to raid the Pokémon Trainers and Pokémon Coordinators here to get some more of his Exchange Points, well as much as possible in this short timeframe. After all, there was now a new giant dragon around who he needed to feed with the highest quality food.

Recently, Ash has been struggling to make ends meet in the point department.

Not to mention saving some Exchange Points to improve his intermediate Power of Light, he is often unable to uncover to buy all of the needed materials for his older Pokémon's training.

And then there were also the issue of him facing almost no opportunities to fight in the middle of places against random Trainers like he once used to because he simply can't find them anywhere.

"I must get my third Pokémon Contest Ribbon here!" May's fighting spirit was already up burning.

"Pika!"

Suddenly Pikachu cheered up, and even Ralts and Togetic around Ash did the same. They didn't even wait for Ash to ask them and ran forward with Pikachu.

"Hey, don't rum around!" Ash hurriedly chased after them, but all they did was to led the group to Lilycove City's unique large berry market.

The smell of berries and other fruits here was actually everywhere, which was a refreshing smell compared to smell of sea salt.

"Come and try it!"

Just as the group was about to step in, an uncle came over with a tasting plate and said, "This is our special Sour Nomel Berry that just came down from our orchard this morning!"

Just by hearing the name, one should be able to tell that of it isn't a scam, it should be of a sour taste, but there was someone on their team here who really loved sourness and sweetness mixed together the most.

Ash thanked him, took a piece and gently fed it to his ever so loyal Pikachu, "Try it, buddy."

The fruit was cut into some bite-sized pieces, and Pikachu swallowed it all in one bite, then showed an expression that showed how delicious it was for him.

"Thank you, let's buy some, as well as sweet, spicy and other tree fruits." Although Ash didn't have enough Exchange Points to squander off and buy random things anymore, he still had a lot of money that he didn't know where to use.

Each Pokémon has a different taste, just like his Ralts and Togetic, who like sweet and sometimes a little dry berries like the Pecha Berry and Bluk Berry; Dratini and Rayquaza likes the spicy ones like the Tomato Berry; his newly conquered Vigoroth love the taste of the common Oran Berry and the rarer Sitrus Berry as they pretty much had every flavor inside of it.

So Ash simply bought most of the uncles berries and fruits of various flavors for him and his group to enjoy. They were indeed very cheap in this large berry market, even more so than all the other markets that Brock had been to.

"I'm sorry, please make way!" Just as Ash and Brock were about to take the big bags of berries and fruits they bought, they heard the voice of a girl approaching their direction.

The girl was about the same age as May, around 15 to 16, with a Grumpig behind her and a large bag of only berries in her arms, which has already blocked her sight by whole.

'No, if I stumble, I will fall down, and all the berries in my arms will be scattered and destroyed!' She thought worriedly.

This girl gave Ash a weird and very clumsy like impressions. He noticed it just too well. She was now negotiating with one of the other stall owners that were closer to the one who theh bought thier things from. What was actually impressive was the consistency of her and her Grumpig's expressions and movements, they were practically the exact same. Their bond was actually very very high, Ash didn't even need to use his System Scanner on them to check how it was.

The girl suddenly lost all of her power and began to fall with all of her berries still in her arm, Grumpig quickly activated his Confusion move to catch her but he immediately his attention to the fallen fruits because he knew this was more important to its Trainer, but because of this, he could no longer hold his Trainer from falling.

Fortunately, Ash was looking at them and took action, he quickly used a small amount of his Psychic Powers to make the girl float and made sure she and all of her berries landed safely to the ground.

After the girl came down, she quickly thanked Ash and even recognized him for his perfect Pokémon Contest record, "You saved me, right, Ash? Are you really a Psychic? You're so amazing, Ash!"

"My name is Kelly, and this is my best friend and Grumpig! I am going to participate in the Pokémon Contest tomorrow. Everyone, do you have time to come and cheer me on tomorrow? Or are you and May going to participate tomorrow too?" She turned her attention to Ash's handsome face, which was was kind of a little jealous of.

This girl named Kelly was being really close, but Ash doesn't dislike this kind of personality as he could feel her genuine happiness at meeting him, "As you now who I am, I still was to make a more formal hello. Hello, I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, and I'm most likely going to participate in tomorrows Pokémon Contest with my girlfriend here, May."

He and May looked at each other with a smile. Not only would they be there, they would also participate in the competition for their important Ribbons.

Kelly felt a little disappointed once she heard Ash already has a beautiful girlfriend in May. So she didn't want to be a stranger and just acted as if she didn't care about this.

"You as Grumpigs Trainer and Breeded did a very good job at raising it." Brock commented from a more professional perspective as he, too, like Ash see how close they were and the Grumpig next to her was also quite decent.

Max also said, "Maybe she will be a difficult opponent in this Pokémon Contest. Sis, your third Pokémon Contest Ribbon is in danger."

Hearing this, Kelly also understood, "So, May, you also want to participate in tomorrow's Pokémon Contest, right? And you already have two official Pokémon Contest Ribbons?"

"Yea!" May nodded happily. The second official Pokémon Contest Ribbon she obtained was by chance during the small sized Pokémon Contest that was about to be held on the way to LaRousse City, in a decently small town.

"Thats amazing!" Kelly actually jumped directly on May, clamoring to admire her. 'No wonder Ash is with her; I'm really nothing here…' She thought with a little bit of disappointment.

May was also very happy to have a fan here, but her mentality was completely different from a month or two ago. She would not be carried away as soon as someone admired her like she did in North Petalburg City, that thing had ruined her beautiful planned date with her lover.

Instead, she smiled and said, "I'm not that powerful, Ash is really much more powerful and better at this than I am. It seems that there is almost never anything that he can't solve, there's no Pokémon he can't catch, and there's no battle he can't win. He already has three of his five official Pokémon Contest Ribbons!"

May's words were filled with deep admiration. The more she came into contact with Ash, the more she felt how unfathomable he was and how lucky she was to be able to love him and him also giving him his love.

This was the man she first fell in love with and also the one that she will always be with; her only true ever lover. She was already planning on how to spend her future marriage life with him and his other wives, and also the future ones she 100% knew will be joining them.

The two girls chatted happily and even agreed to make energy cubes together.

May was quite critical of this. Ash obviously knew how to make high-quality energy cubes, and could easily come up with the energy cube formula that could even fill up his gigantic Snorlax's stomach, but she was never quite able to make good ones like him or Brock.

But it wasn't Ash's or Brock's fault, or even Mays one to begin with. They simply couldn't always carry the large machines at all times and thus she couldn't get her practice in.

Ignoring the excited May, Ash quickly took the time to raid- I mean teach a bunch of Pokémon Trainers and Pokémon Coordinators alike to get more of his Exchange Points. It should finally be able to last for a while longer.

"Dear gentlemen and ladies, the Lilycove City Pokémon Contest is about to begin!" This conference was still hosted by the same beautiful Vivian, one of Ash's more popular fan girls.

Yes, fan girls. Ash has a lot of them in both the Pokémon Gym Challenges and even more in his Pokémon Contest Challenge.

And it should also be noted that over 75% of his fans were girls—from teens to mature women. They simply couldn't get enough of his ability to showcase his power and his Pokémon's beauty.

In a recent study that was done by the Mauville Institute of Public Affairs, he had one of the biggest diehard fans out there.

Ash's mother, Professor Oak, Gary, and even his lovers sometimes poke fun at him using this.

This was also one of the reasons Ash does his best to stay away from the cameras when he was traveling and not in some sort of competition.

May decided to use her evolved Combusken to compete in this, and he was standing by her side to accompany her at this very moment.

Ash also got the Pokémon he wanted in exchange from Professor Oak, but he only kept it inside of its Poké Ball for now.

"Ash, what Pokémon are you going to use to compete in this Pokémon Contest?" May was very curious about her boyfriends chosen Pokémon. Ash had simply caught too many Pokémon's that were not only very powerful, but were also very beautiful like his Meganium, a mix of the two things mentioned above, so she really couldn't guess which one Ash would use to compete here out of his who knows how many Pokémon.

"Just wait and see, love, just wait and see." Ash smiled cheerfully and did not answer her, but instead gave her a kiss on the lips in front of the jealous crowd, which included Kelly.

The boys wanted to be in Ash's places while the girls would do anything to be in May's place.

While talking, Ash had also noticed Jessie in the corner behind him. She came to the competition with a Chimecho this time, most definitely Jame's beloved Chimecho.

Ash simply gave a nod to Jessie, who in turn looked away and began blushing.

"So, let's start the first round now, starting with the No. 1 contestant, May!" Vivian announced the start of the Lilycove City Pokémon Contest.

This time May was the first one to perform stage.

"Combusken, take the stage!"

Combusken jumped out of the Poké Ball, did a 720-degree backflip in the air, and then landed smoothly on the ground with a neat movement with flames in his beak.

"Combusken is showing off his full vitality and dynamic, and the scenery on the stage is on for." Vivian's hosting is indeed of a high standard, no wonder she was one of the most popular woman in the whole region, well her and her family members that look practically identical like the Joy Family and the Jenny Family.

But Ash frowned a little when he noticed the overwhelming amount of power that Combusken was unintentionally and intentionally releasing off.

Combusken was finally able to appear on the stage of a Pokémon Contest for the first time. So the little guy seemed to be a little too excited for his own well being.

And sure enough, just as Ash had expected, just after May ordered the Fire Spin skill to be used, it used too much force and the flames enveloped the entire stage and was about to burn towards May.

'Absolutely don't panic!' May gritted her teeth tightly. The first thing she learned from Ash was not to panic under any circumstances and also to be able to think very clearly and quickly under pressure.

She clenched her fists tightly and shouted the command, "Combusken, use Sky Uppercut!"

The crowd saw a flash of light in Combusken's eyes, and the huge Fire Spin was shattered by its punch. Embers flew everywhere for a while, which was particularly a finishing move.

Ash made sure to use the most minuscule amount of Psychic Power to make sure that May doesn't get disqualified for accidentally hunting an audience member or one of the judges.

He especially made sure to cast a thin layer of Psychic Shield on May and Vivian to make sure they don't get burned from their close proximity to the hot flames.

[Master, I understand why you did it for May, she's practically your wife at this point. But why for that Vivian woman that you have only ever slightly talked to and just had a few pictures together? Are you interested in her mature body? I can make my body more mature or younger to your taste?] Ciel said playfully.

'Oh, I would love to talk more about this later, my lovely Ciel.' Ash said to Ciel with a smirk.

[Ok, you promised to be with me soon. And are you really interested in that Vivian woman? I can instantly make her fall for you.] She said cheekily.

'No, maybe once I actually get to know her better, I'll be okay to have her as one of my women, but not for now.' Ash thought for a few seconds and said.

[Fine, whatever you say. But you have to make love to me soon, or else I won't be ever talking to you!] She said like tsundere.

'Fine, fine. That's for later tho.' Ash thought with a sigh.

"The flames have exploded, May's performance was so beautiful!" Vivian didn't seem to notice the accident in the performance just now or the barrier around her, but she did feel a sense of warmth in her heart.

"Yes!" Looking at the exploding embers, May suddenly had a flash of inspiration and decided something on the spot, "Combusken, collect the flames!"

They all saw that among the splashing flame embers, Combusken danced the "Dance of the Flames." It took back the flames he himself had previously made and held it in the palm of its hand, forming a fireball again. This series of actions made the atmosphere more lively than ever.

Then in the final finishing touch, Combusken threw the fireball high again, and used Sky Uppercut once again tore it into the Fire ball that spread all over the stage opening.

This performance got a very powerful 29 points as Nurse Joy realized how bad it could have been if not for the quick thinking, so she gave it a 9: "She has really improved a lot!"

Next it was Ash's turns.

He walked onto the stage amost all of his loud female fans, and threw out his Poké Ball, "Lets show them your beauty, Feebas!"

Feebas, who had only been caught by him some time before, appeared on the stage. She looked like a normal ugly fish on the stage and was unwilling to even dance.

No one in the audience made a single sound, not even his large number of fans, they were completely stunned, wondering how Ash of all people could send such a Pokémon with no sense of beauty at all.

"Well...Okay, Ash, please start your performance!" Vivian said something to avoid a cold start.

However inwardly she was panicking, 'Ash, my love, what had happened to you?!'

Then all they heard was Ash's loud voice,

"Feebas, it's time to shine and evolve!"

Then, Feebas began to shine with the extremely bright dazzling light of evolution!
