If it evolved into Azumarill, there was even a chance it could awaken its hidden ability, Sap Sipper, further boosting its versatility.

With these thoughts in mind, Ash decided to support Misty's training efforts. He redeemed two Mystic Waters to enhance Water-type moves and a Twisted Spoon to boost Psychic-type abilities.

For May, the imminent evolution of her Combusken into Blaziken and the strength of her Munchlax as a Normal-type were key considerations. Ash selected a Silk Scarf to amplify Normal-type attacks, Charcoal for Fire-types, and a Miracle Seed for her promising Bulbasaur.

After finalizing his gifts, Ash turned his attention to outfitting his own Pokémon team. His primary objective was clear: elevate the levels of his main roster to at least Level 60, ensuring they could compete at Elite Four standards.

"Charizard, your speed needs improvement. Competing against Pidgeot's agility should push you to the limit. Pidgeot, while your ranged moves are solid, you need to enhance your close-combat tactics. Work with Charizard to refine these areas. Pikachu, focus on condensing your electricity into a ball at the tip of your tail before launching it as an attack. Think of it as practicing for the Electro Ball move."

Charizard and Pidgeot took to the skies, their competitive spirits igniting as they raced. Charizard, already Ash's strongest Pokémon at Champion level, roared with determination, while Pidgeot relied on its relentless training in the Forest to hold its ground.

Meanwhile, Pikachu diligently worked on channeling its electrical power, sparks flying as it experimented with forming an orb of energy at its tail's tip.

Ash moved on to his Snorlax. "You're probably the fastest Snorlax in existence, but we need to push even further. Your versatility as a Normal-type lets you learn a wide range of moves. Let's add Fire Punch and Thunder Punch to your arsenal to make you an unstoppable force in battle."

Snorlax grunted in agreement, its massive body surprisingly nimble as it began practicing its punches.

"Gengar," Ash continued, "your speed and Special Attack need improvement. Let's work on mastering more Ghost-type moves while also increasing your reaction time. Kirlia, Pikachu, Sceptile, and Pupitar, follow me into the forest. We're hunting for wild Pokémon to grind some serious experience."

Ash led the group deeper into the forest, quickly spotting a swarm of Beedrill.

"Sorry, Beedrill, but we need the battle experience. Pikachu, use Discharge! And don't forget to practice forming that electric orb!"

"Pika-Pika-Chu!" Pikachu unleashed a powerful wave of electricity, stunning the swarm.

Ash made sure to remind his Pokémon not to strike too hard, ensuring the wild Pokémon wouldn't suffer lasting harm.

As they ventured further, Ash discovered a cave teeming with Zubat and Ariados.

"Sceptile, use Leaf Storm! Kirlia, follow up with Confusion! Let's keep the momentum going!"

Battle after battle, Ash's Pokémon gained valuable experience. For tougher opponents, Ash saved his experience multiplier cards, ensuring maximum gains.

Finally, Ash's exploration led him to a clearing where a wild Nidoking stood, exuding power and dominance.

"This must be the boss of the area," Ash muttered. Using his Aura to scan the surroundings, he confirmed that Nidoking ruled over a group of Nidorino and Nidoran.

"Pupitar, pair up with Kirlia! Kirlia, start with Calm Mind! Pupitar, hit it with Dark Pulse!"

Pupitar growled in response, its energy surging as it launched a shadowy wave. Kirlia began to glow faintly as it concentrated, bolstering its mental and physical strength.

The Nidoking roared in fury and charged forward with a devastating Megahorn. Even after taking a direct hit from Pupitar's Dark Pulse, it pressed on, showcasing its resilience.

"Pupitar, aim Dark Pulse at the ground to disrupt its charge! Kirlia, keep using Calm Mind! We'll need every bit of power for this!"

The strategy worked, causing Nidoking to stumble into a newly-formed crevice. But it wasn't giving up. With a deafening roar, Nidoking slammed its fists into the earth, unleashing Earth Power!

The ground trembled, sending shockwaves toward Ash's team.

"Now's the time! Kirlia, Psychic! Lift it off the ground!"

Fueled by its boosted stats, Kirlia's Psychic attack enveloped Nidoking, suspending it mid-air.

"Finish this, Pupitar! Use Dark Pulse! Kirlia, follow up with Dazzling Gleam!"

The combined attacks struck true, and Nidoking let out one final roar before collapsing in defeat.

As the battle ended, Ash activated a 6x Experience Boost Card, sharing the massive rewards between Pupitar and Kirlia.

Kirlia's level skyrocketed, finally reaching Level 41. As its body began to glow with the light of evolution, Ash grinned.

"It's finally happening," he whispered.

When the glow subsided, Kirlia had transformed into Gardevoir, its elegant form radiating power and grace.

Ash clenched his fists with excitement. "This is just the beginning. Let's keep going!"
