Chapter 530 - 530 Battle with Yue Chan

Chapter 530: Chapter 530 Battle with Yue Chan

In the clouds, the starlight was blocked, and meteors continued to fall.

A vague silhouette, flowing with luminance, now trembled, as if she had been struck down from the ninth level of heaven and could no longer maintain that kind of cold detachment or transcendence.

In an instant, her body’s Immortal Light surged, transforming into a dazzling Star River, surrounding her, with a powerful aura surging, and Infinite Runes densely spread, enveloping herself.

At this moment, she severed the connection with the world below, keeping herself detached from all methods, employed Divine Consciousness Introspection, observed her True Self, and Recited the Immortal Scripture, calming her trembling heart.

That intense experience was, to say the least, too harrowing and did not suit her reclusive heart, clashing with her ethereal poise. For her, those brief moments were like traversing hellish training.

She was the Banished Fairy, lofty and high, her heart never touched by such ripples, yet she had just gone through such an inconceivable encounter that shook her spiritual core.

Her white garments fluttered, and the characters shone brilliantly; she was guarded at the center of heaven and earth, standing high amidst the clouds, with a hint of genuine fury. To defile her in such a way was unforgivable!

Striving for inner peace and recovering, she looked down to see the youth smiling at her, embracing Yue Chan intimately. It was a very straightforward provocation.

Below, in front of the grand Heavenly Palace, the two nestled together, gazing at the heavens. The youth’s teeth gleamed as if savoring the fragrance, smiling at her too brilliantly, filled with a different kind of charm.

Above the clouds, the beautiful figure, the true main body of Yue Chan, grew colder and more detached, with white brilliance scattering and flying in all directions, making her seem illusory almost to the point of turning into a dao, coexisting with the Immortal.

However, upon closer inspection, one could see Divine Radiance flickering in her pupils, the anger of a Banished Fairy. There were no shouts, no curses, only a strong wave of emotion spreading out.

“Shick!”

Finally, she raised her hand and stars appeared around her, densely packed, and then turned into a line, flying towards the imperial palace below along her fingertip.

Meteors rained down, and among them, one beam shimmered exceptionally bright, the result of dozens, even hundreds, uniting together, forming one beam hurtling along the same path toward Shi Hao!

This was a terrifying tactic; the celestial maiden above brought the starlight together with a wave of her hand, meteors turned into lines, and such concentration of their fall was immeasurable in its might.

The meteors burst into bloom, turning into flowers!

It was a brilliant gleam that, in an instant, caused the imperial palace to tremble violently, as if a tsunami was striking the shore, with all the palace buildings shining and constantly resounding.

Array Patterns were imprinted into the void, guarding this group of palace courtyards that had existed since ancient times. Various powerful symbols lit up to counter the celestial meteor attack.

The sounds of ‘plop, plop’ were incessant, as many Meteor Stars fell, colliding with the Array, shattering one after another. Streaks of light swept by, dazzling and shocking, and also accompanied by terrifying fluctuations.

In just a moment, twenty or thirty Meteor Stars fell in front of the same Heavenly Palace, continuously bombarding the same patch of characters, creating an impact beyond imagination.

A cracking sound was heard as the Array split open a crevice, and the meteors from behind, lined up in unison, charged at extreme speed, attempting to break through the great Array to bombard the youth below.

This was the anger of the celestial Fairy above the clouds; though there were no shouts or angry expressions, the effective action was more terrifying than anything.

Shi Hao’s expression was solemn as he embraced Yue Chan and leaped onto a high platform, staring at the high sky. With a clanging tremble, he drew out the Golden Divine Sword and pointed it towards the heavens.

In an instant, the dragon energy surged within the imperial palace, all of it converging towards his arm, transforming into an immeasurable mysterious power, vast like an ocean, endless and boundless.

The Battle Sword in Shi Hao’s hand was as oppressive as the sun, its brilliance like fire, fiercely burning, and then with a loud boom, it burst forth with a thick beam of light, shooting towards the high sky.

Meteor after meteor was pierced by the Sword Qi, exploding in the air, with infinite scarlet light, as Stone Village was turned to dust, drifting down like a dust rain.

Twelve consecutive Meteor Stars, despite radiating endless light, all fell when struck by this sword, exploding in mid-air.

At the same time, the Array rumbled, sealing itself, and the previously breached fissures vanished. Moreover, a precious imprint appeared above Shi Hao’s head, its characters flashing, controlling the entire imperial palace, and activating several layers of the Divine Array to protect this crucial area.

Shi Hao, holding the sword, pointed it toward the south sky. The sword’s tip aimed directly at the chaste figure within the clouds, its sharpness fully revealed!

“Shi!”

A sword light flew out, defying the heavens and surging upward, transforming into a dragon-like energy column, shredding several Meteor Stars, and shooting straight towards Fairy Yue Chan’s main body, brimming with a murderous aura.

Above that crystal-clear body, a treasure shone, augmenting her form, and she too was very calm, extending a finger, crystal clear like a gem, touching it against the Sword Qi.

With a light “pop,” the Sword Qi exploded, blooming in the void, beautiful yet fleeting like fireworks.

She looked down from above, her pupils rippling with divine radiance.

And Shi Hao also pointed his sword at the heavens, an unspoken standoff ensued. Although they were very far apart, both could feel the other’s chilling murderous intent.

“Hao’er, are you alright?” With a flicker of their shadows, Shi Ziling and his spouse rushed over.

“I’m fine!” Shi Hao nodded, his expression grave. Continuing like this was not a solution; the audacity of someone to attack the imperial palace’s door unrestrained was unacceptable. Retaliation was necessary.

Qin Yining saw the situation and waved her hand in the air, condensing her Divine Sense into a beam, and transmitted her voice, “Daughter-in-law, do not be impertinent.”

“You wicked Saintess!” Inside the imperial palace, Fairy Yue Chan’s Second Body was the first to react, harboring great resentment towards her.

“If only the Little Pagoda were here,” Shi Hao frowned. The Little Pagoda, hardly an inch tall, indeed held great deterrence power, but had vanished without a trace after pursuing the witch.

It had disappeared for nearly a day and a night now, why hadn’t it returned?

Shi Hao was shocked, suddenly feeling too reliant on the Little Pagoda. Knowing its might, he seemed to have lost a sense of urgency, no longer feeling the pressure.

With an enemy invading from outside, yet Shi Hao’s heart experienced fluctuations at this moment, his mind wandering. This was not a small issue. Recently, relying too much on external forces, if this continued, his heart would lack that zeal to advance courageously.

Especially since he knew that the Willow Deity was entering the Primordial Gate deep within the primal chaos, and the Little Pagoda might also depart. This was very troublesome. Even worse, should they both disappear, would he be able to adapt?

“I cannot rely on others like this. Always having something to depend on will make me lack a sense of crisis. I need to become stronger; born into this world, in the end, I must carve my own path.”

An unexpected attack, in the absence of the Little Pagoda, had suddenly awoken him to such a realization. This problem was not a small one!

Shi Hao’s eyes shimmered with radiance, as a breath of creation and destruction emerged. He focused intently, gauging the combat strength of Fairy Yue Chan’s true body. This woman was undoubtedly formidable.

“Even more powerful than you!?” he looked back at the beauty who had approached him.

Fairy Yue Chan huffed lightly. In contrast to her counterpart above the clouds, she exuded vitality and vivacity, while the one above was a true being of transcendence, almost celestial. That sanctity and pride seemed innate, as if she didn’t belong to the mortal realm, unshakeable in her spiritual path.

Shi Hao had a premonition that her true body was immensely strong, especially with the treasures in her possession and the Array capable of summoning meteors; she truly seemed invincible.

“Infant, what are you planning to do?” Shi Ziling exclaimed in surprise, noticing Shi Hao’s readiness to charge into the sky for battle.

“Father, please don’t worry, I have everything under control!” Shi Hao said. He summoned Little Red to take charge of the various Arrays within the palace before he soared into the sky.

Shi Ziling and his wife were deeply worried, gazing up at the sky in tension. Had Little Red not desperately persuaded them, they would have ascended to join the fray.

As Shi Hao rose into the air, he also carried Yue Chan on his back, secured behind him by a rope made of characters, ascending together into the high sky.

During this ascent, meteors fell in swathes, yet he used the Kun Peng’s technique to dodge each one, swiftly reaching the clouds to confront that hazy figure.

Above the clouds, the space was densely packed with meteors arranged behind that dazzling silhouette— a vast Array that summoned several giant rocks from beyond the heavens and more from the mountains of the wasteland.

She was indeed well-prepared!

Shi Hao frowned. How could it be such coincidence that just as the witch left and the Little Pagoda went after her, Fairy Yue Chan’s true body arrived, and so powerfully at that?

“Does she look different from you?” Shi Hao asked the woman whose body was tender and warm against his back.

Yue Chan’s Second Body didn’t respond, watching the figure opposite her, with her eyes glowing brilliantly, feeling a strange connection at such close proximity.

Shi Hao smirked faintly, walking through the void with her on his back, meticulously observing the figure ahead.

The moonlight above the clouds spilled down like water, and the woman in front stood ethereal and vague, seemingly within reach yet as if positioned in the ninth level of heaven, emanating an otherworldly and unreachable aura.

She was too detached from the world, her beauty and indifference not of this earth.

“Yue Chan, did you come to disrupt the bridal chamber?” Shi Hao spoke up, looking directly at her with a calm and provocative voice, “Disrupting your own bridal chamber must feel quite special.”

The Fairy stood gracefully opposite him, her voice as melodious as the sounds of heaven, “My heart pursues the path, as pure as the bright moon.”

Her voice was gentle, sounding like music from the heavens, and bathed one in a sense of spring warmth, clearly telling Shi Hao that such provocations couldn’t disturb her state of mind.

Shi Hao, sword in hand, said, “Fairy, you are extraordinary and possess great composure. Since you are so transcendent, why don’t we sit in the imperial palace? We can drink and be merry, having a heart-to-heart under the moonlight.”

Amidst the misty halo, her slender figure emitted a glowing luminescence; she smiled faintly and said, “I have come to kill you.”

“What a pity, you will find it hard to get your way.”

“How do you know without trying? Under the lofty divine moon, I shall slay you to enlighten my own spiritual path!” On the chilly moonlit night, a thin mist emerged around her, harmonious and Sacred Entity, growing even more ethereal and lively.

A vast sense of danger arose in Shi Hao’s heart; he knew this woman was terribly formidable, outrageously strong.

The Undying Golden Body Battle Clothes had already draped over him, shimmering with dark gold lustre, while the Human Emperor’s precious seal floated above his head, casting down strands of True Dragon, readying Shi Hao for battle.

“Chi!”

Fairy Yue Chan’s true body took the first strike, pointing a finger that released thousands of Sword Qi, each crystalline as crystal and imbued with a potent divine intent.

The battle erupted just like that, with few words exchanged between them. The Sword Qi was like a rainbow, piercing through the heavens. In the blink of an eye, they had clashed thousands of times, with precious symbols dazzling, ascending to the sky, dimming even the moonlight, but for two figures transforming into immortal light.

The ferocious clash echoed across the sky, Divine Skills blooming without end.

“Chi!”

They passed by each other, and from the chaste fairy’s body surged a fiery Immortal Phoenix, its wings delicate and graceful, the scarlet breathtakingly beautiful, slicing through the void, unparalleled.

“Hmm?!” Shi Hao dodged, but was shocked to realize that the Phoenix, soaring and attacking with Little Red feathers, was actually trying to slay Yue Chan on his back.

Fortunately, with the unmatched Kun Peng’s technique, he swiftly dodged, sparing the beauty from certain death.

“You… you attacked me? You’ve given up on me!” The astonishment, grief, and anger were plain on Yue Chan’s pale face.

Her expression fluctuated, and eventually, her beautiful countenance regained composure, decisively leaning on Shi Hao’s back and whispering into his ear, “I’ll help you catch her!”

“Good!” Shi Hao responded with only one word, giving her a squeeze that evoked a startled cry from her.

At such closeness, even Fairy Yue Chan’s true body’s severed connections couldn’t prevent her from feeling that clear sensation.

At that moment, her body stiffened as she felt indescribably uncomfortable, violated once again, and she recoiled hastily.

“Chi!”

Sword light filled the sky, as Shi Hao advanced, unleashing earth-shattering precious symbols, pressing forward with overwhelming force.
