Arthur's grip tightened. "I said...Undo...the...process."

If Arthur wanted, he could undo the process, but the ritual in front was powered by holy magic, used in a dark way, and Arthur was currently in his Incubus form. So to destroy the ritual, Arthur had to use his dark magic, and for the knowledge his Incubus avatar is not very well versed in breaking curses; if he does that, there is a chance that Asia will die.

Of course, he can resurrect Asia after words, but he did make a promise to not kill her.

And there is also the option of him turning into his angel form. Truth be told, Arthur somewhat hates his angel avatar because his angel avatar shows too much empathy, sympathy, and other emotions. You can argue that in his angel avatar he is annoyingly virtues and righteous.

And he can hear the prayers of people, which is the most annoying part of being an angel.

So the best option here is to make Raynare undo the process.

"I... I said... I won't!" she rasped, forcing defiance into her voice.

Arthur remained unimpressed. "You know what {Charm Species.}" Arthur's eyes glow for a moment.

"Now then, undo the process, Raynare." Arthur said.

As the glow of Arthur's eyes faded, Raynare's once-defiant expression melted into something completely different—adoration.

"Okey, Dear." Raynare murmur.

Raynare lifted her hand toward Asia, her fingers glowing with the same golden energy she had used before. But this time, instead of extracting Asia's sacred gear, the magic reversed.

The glowing chains around Asia flickered and unraveled, dissolving into harmless particles of light. The golden radiance that had been forcefully drawn from her chest slowly returned, sinking back into her body where it belonged.

Asia let out a soft, shuddering gasp, her head falling forward as she regained her strength.

Arthur gave Raynare an approving nod. "Good girl."

Raynare beamed at him, her wings fluttering slightly as if she had just received the highest praise.

Arthur, ignoring her ridiculous expression, moved toward Asia. She was barely conscious, her frail body trembling as the ordeal had drained her of all energy. Without a word, Arthur bent down and scooped her into his arms effortlessly.

Her small frame felt light against him, and as he held her close, she weakly murmured something incoherent against his chest.

"Just rest," Arthur said, though his grip on her was firm, steady.

Turning on his heel, he strode toward the exit of the underground chamber. Raynare, still under the effects of his charm, trailed obediently behind him like a pet following its master.

As they ascended the stairs, leaving the eerie red glow of the altar behind, Arthur sensed multiple presences waiting at the top.

Once they stepped outside, the sight that greeted him was predictable—Rias and the rest of her peerage stood in the clearing, waiting for him.

Seeing Raynare, Issei came forward, "Arthur-san, She..." And pointed to Raynare.

"Ah, right. I forgot she was the one who killed you." Arthur tone was so casual that it almost sounded like he was commenting on the weather.

Issei didn't know what to say; on one hand, Raynare was hot and was his girlfriend, and on the other hand, she killed him. Well, because of that, he did meet Rias and others, so Issei didn't know what type of emotion he should have.

Before Issei could respond to Arthur, Rias took a step forward, her crimson eyes sharp with curiosity. "Arthur, what did you do to her?"

Arthur cast a glance at Raynare, who was staring at him with an almost worshipful expression. "Nothing much," he said. "I just used charm magic."

That single sentence caused an immediate reaction.

Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and Kiba were surprised. Issei, who was the new devil, because of that, he didn't know why they were surprised.

"Charm magic?" Koneko muttered. "Are you a vampire?"

Arthur shook his head. "No."

Rias narrowed her eyes. "Then... are you from the Asmodeus bloodline?" Rias knows the possibilities of him from Asmodeus bloodline are slim but not zero; after all, Ancient One is famous for having affairs with women of different factions.

So Arthur could be one of the illegitimate sons of Asmodeus bloodline, which also explains why he is here to help her and why he used an expensive Nazarick potion on Issei, her servant.

But sadly for Rias, Arthur just smirked widely. "Nope."

The air grew tense.

Charm magic was rare—extremely rare. Very few beings could wield it effectively, and the ones who could were either from powerful vampire clans, select high-ranking devils like those of the Asmodeus family, or… other spices, which have gone extinct.

"Then what are you?" Rias asked again.

Arthur chuckled lightly. "Now, Rias. That's a secret," he said with a teasing smile. "Maybe I'll tell you when we get closer."

Rias exhaled through her nose, clearly not satisfied with his answer, but she didn't push further.

Issei, on the other hand, looked confused. "Wait, why is everyone acting like this? Is charm magic such a big deal?"

Akeno turned her violet eyes toward him and explained, "Charm magic is like mind-control magic, Issei. If an opponent's mental resistance is weak, even if they're physically powerful, charm magic can completely turn them into an ally—no matter who they were before."

"Wait… So you're saying...?" Issei tuned to me.

Arthur smirked. "That's right. If I wanted to, I could use charm magic to turn almost anyone into my devoted follower. Whether they're a high-class devil, a fallen angel, Angels or, in an extremely rare case, even a lesser god… if their mental resistance is weak, they'll become mine."

Issei gulped. "That's so cool... Wait a minute, does that mean using your charm magic you can become a harem king?"
