While Kinoshita Genichi's real body was still fighting Yagura, his shadow clone, which was monitoring the area, detected a Mist-nin unit rapidly breaking through the defensive lines. It immediately set out with Uzumaki Ina's team of four.

Just as Genichi finished his battle with Yagura, the five of them managed to intercept the elite Mist-nin squad that had infiltrated the rear.

"Shikotsumyaku!" Sarutobi Mikage said in a low voice. "Be careful, everyone in that clan is a maniac."

Just then, the leader of the Mist-nin, Hōzuki Mugetsu, spoke. "Suigetsu, you guys hold them off!" Since it was just a shadow clone, there was no need for both squads to waste time here.

Suigetsu nodded.

But at that moment, Genichi appeared next to Uzumaki Ina, and the shadow clone dispelled.

"Captain!" Ina cheered softly. Sarutobi Mikage and the other two also secretly breathed a sigh of relief. If it had just been a shadow clone, they would have been under immense pressure. But with Genichi's real body here... what, two elite Mist squads? Sorry, but we're the ones who fight the elites!

"Did Lord Yagura fail?" Hōzuki Mugetsu was shocked. He immediately shouted, "Suigetsu, Chūkichi, make your move!"
