Chapter 52: Raja vs. The Wild Horse: The Devil Rides in Yellowstone

The sun was setting over Yellowstone Ranch, casting long shadows over the massive enclosure where Rip had arranged the wildest, most untamed horse in the entire state.

A true beast of muscle, fury, and unpredictability.

The kind of horse that broke bones for fun and sent grown cowboys crying home to their mothers.

Rip stood by the fence, arms crossed, grinning like a villain who had set the perfect trap. He was enjoying this already.

"Let's see how long the brown kid lasts before he's eating dirt," Rip muttered under his breath.

The other ranch hands weren't even questioning if Raja would fail—just how fast.

Bets were placed, mostly on how many seconds it would take for Raja to be flung across the enclosure.

John Dutton watched silently from the porch, a faint smirk on his lips, while Jamie nervously adjusted his expensive watch, still unsure why he had even agreed to let Raja challenge fate.

Then came Beth.

Beth, now dressed, came sprinting into the enclosure, wild-eyed and furious.

"Raja, stop this madness! You're not a damn cowboy!" she yelled.

Rip tensed up immediately. The fact that Beth was trying to save Raja infuriated him even more.

Jamie also pleaded with Raja, urging him to back down.

But Raja? Raja just smiled.

He gently placed his hands on Jamie and Beth's shoulders. "Relax, my dear friends. This is just a warm-up."

And then, in one smooth motion, Raja removed his shirt.

The moment his upper body was exposed, an eerie silence fell over the ranch.

Cowboys who had been betting against him stopped breathing.

Beth stared in stunned silence, her lips slightly parted.

Jamie, blinking rapidly, muttered, "Now I know why they call him the Enforcer..."

Rip clenched his jaw. "Son of a gun..."

John Dutton, ever the stoic man, nodded in approval. "The kid was raised correctly."

What they saw was not the body of an average young man.

Raja was ripped beyond reason. Every muscle was perfectly defined, veins ran like roadmaps of sheer power, and his eight-pack abs looked like something out of a warrior's legend.

This was not the lean, skinny college kid they had imagined.

This was a predator.

With his shirt off, Raja casually walked toward the horse, hands in his pockets, like he was strolling through a park.

The horse immediately sensed something was wrong.

It neighed loudly, its eyes flashing wild irritation.

But then, something changed.

As Raja neared the beast, his entire demeanor shifted.

He was no longer walking like a man.

He was walking like a lion.

The horse, for all its raw power, sensed something ancient and terrifying approaching.

Its ears perked up. Its muscles tensed.

The gathered cowboys felt it too.

Something primal. Something beyond human.

Raja, who neared the horse, looked into the eyes of the horse directly and started posing like the strongest creature on earth Yuirjio Hanma;

The horse felt shivers down its spine and if it move; it will die in the hands of a wild beast.

People who saw the back muscles of Raja changing into a demon face got shocked, surprised, started feeling fear in their hearts.

One of the old cowboys muttered, "Demon," and everybody heard the word got a chill run down their spine.

The horse reared up, ready to charge, but before it could move, Raja struck.

With explosive speed, he tackled the horse, bringing the raging beast down to the ground.

A collective gasp rippled through the crowd.

Raja held the horse down, gripping its powerful frame, muscles flexing like steel cables.

And then he whispered in a low, calm voice:

"Death or submission. It's your choice, kid."

The horse flailed, but Raja didn't budge.

Seconds passed. The beast struggled, kicked, neighed in frustration.

And then, it stilled.

A deep resigned sigh escaped its nostrils.

It had chosen submission.

Raja slowly released his grip, rising to his feet.

The horse, terrified, didn't even try to move.

For two seconds, the world stood still.

Then, Raja snapped his fingers.

"Get up."

The horse obeyed immediately.

"Run."

The horse took off, circling the enclosure at full speed.

"Faster."

It obeyed.

"Stop."

It skidded to a halt.

"Come."

The beast walked back and kneeled.

The crowd was in complete shock.

John Dutton, watching from the porch, rubbed his temple.

"This kid is Beast..."

Raja turned to Beth, motioning for her to bring a saddle.

Beth, still processing everything she had just witnessed, moved mechanically and did as he asked.

As she neared the horse, Raja spoke softly.

"I already have a horse named Badshah, so I can't take this one. But you can."

Beth froze.

"I want you to be his queen."

Horse stood still.

"I want you to be her knight."

Beth reached out, her fingers trembling, and touched the horse's face.

To her absolute surprise, the beast licked her hand affectionately.

His breath hitched.

Raja cut Beth gown into a skirt with a knife, lifted her onto the saddle like she weighed nothing, and commanded the horse to take its new queen for a ride.

As Beth rode off, smiling like a child, Raja casually strolled over to Jamie, putting his shirt back on.

Raja, after wearing the shirt, looked at the cowboys who betted on him.

Raja, with a smiling face, said, "Guys, you lost every bet, so that means I won, right? Can I get the money?"

An old rancher hurriedly collected the money, stacked it neatly, and ran to present it.

Raja, with an evil smile, looked into the cowboy's eyes. "A stained soul? See you in hell!"

Raja changed his eyes into red color for a split second and walked towards John.

The old cowboy froze, his face going pale.

A second later, he stood like a log in fright and pissed himself.

All he could hear was the phrase, repeating in his mind like a curse. "See you in hell"

Raja walked up to John Dutton.

"See you at breakfast tomorrow. I like eggs and chicken. Don't forget."

Raja came near Beth, who is riding the horse like a little kid with a flowery smile, "Beth, I am staying at this hotel.

If you want to talk and have a whitewashed Indian food, come to the hotel, and my condolences for the loss of your mother."

Raja left in his car with an evil smile.

This word struck all the Dutton's together, and they were stunned and felt sad and walked to their homes.

The cowboys who saw the stunned old man ran towards him and tried to wake him up.

Llyod woke up and started shouting, "Devil! The kid is the devil. Oh Lord! save our soul from eternal damnation."

When Dutton heard his words, he got stunned.

The old cowboy shouted, "John gave him what he wants, please; otherwise, we are doomed for eternity." and lost his consciousness.

The Dutton's were stunned by the old cowboy's words;

Jamie looked at his new watch.

Beth looked at the horse, and then decided to meet him tonight.

John was thinking about the next day's breakfast.

The cowboys are taking the old man to the hospital, and another cowboy came and saw the cowboys taking the old man and the stunned and thinking faces of his family.

He has only one thought in his mind and said it out loud, "What in the name of the devil happened here!"(Lee Dutton)

The old cowboy who is unconscious woke up and shouted, Devil!

Then immediately collapsed again.

And just like that—Raja had officially broken Yellowstone Ranch.
