Oops, I Accidentally Ascended to Godhood

Chapter 62: Violated

Tarkan had asked the girl her name, to which she replied, "Rose."

At first, Tarkan wanted to use his Timer on her, but he was too reluctant to touch the yellow feces the pigs had smeared all over her body. He needed to find her something to clean herself, no way was he dealing with that filth.

Sure enough, after checking around the village, he found a small pond. He brought the girl over and had her clean herself there.

Even though he knew that the longer he delayed fixing her, the higher the Timer cost would become, Tarkan was completely unwilling to touch that crap again. Losing a bit of Timer was a small price to pay for not dealing with that stench.

Eventually, the girl finished and walked over.

"I'm done."

Tarkan was still staring at his panel with an impassive face. He lifted his head, about to tell her to come closer so he could make contact...

..and immediately choked on his words.

If he'd had a drink in his mouth, it would've come spraying out.

She stood there completely naked, a shy expression on her face.

"W..Where are your clothes?" Tarkan was stunned.

"I don't have any extra," she said, fidgeting with her hands.

"What about your old ones?"

"They're still wet... I was afraid to put them on. I might catch a cold," she pouted at him, trying to act cute.

"Go put them on like that," Tarkan said, his face turning ugly.

Tarkan knew she was lying. Even though he hadn't found all the answers yet, he had at least learned some basics knowledge, anyone who had passed through the first Dimension was considered having broken all mortal limits and is immune to ordinary sickness.

A sixteen-year-old trying to offer him her candy...

Even though the legal age in this world was sixteen, Tarkan had once been an old man from a world where the legal age was eighteen. He couldn't bring himself to do such things.

Even if she were eighteen, she wasn't really his type.

After a while, she returned, now dressed in her wet clothes.

Tarkan didn't waste another second. This is part of a series from My Virtual Library Empire (M|V|L1EMPYR).

The girl knelt before him as Tarkan placed a hand on her head.

He intended to use Revert, to wipe her memory from the moment she saw his face.

He quickly estimated the amount of time she had saw his face and locked onto her memory as the target.

Revert 5 seconds.

> [Timer: 00:08:15 (Lvl 2)]

It worked.

Tarkan nearly jumped from joy.

***

Tarkan now sat in a daze, looking utterly defeated.

He was glad Revert had worked, but that was the problem.

It had worked too well.

He had precisely calculated the time to erase. Revert activated, and it successfully wiped her memory, but instead of the expected five seconds, it erased everything going back ten hours, all the way to when the pig-humans had started chasing her.

At first, he thought maybe the memory of seeing his face hadn't been "important" enough for Revert to handle cleanly.

But after running tests on nearby objects, he confirmed it, Revert had upgraded.

Now, rewinding just one minute cost five days instead of the previous one day.

That meant he had just burned nearly half his eleven-minute reserve in the fight with the pigs, for nothing.

Tarkan felt like he aged ten years on the spot. His head went light. His vision blurred. Emotionally, it was like someone had murdered his children and then killed themselves before he could take revenge.

And the worst part?

The girl he had risked so much to save... turned out to be from a low-level world, just like Tharn and blindly came into the second dimension without a sponsor just like him.

And because of the memory wipe, she could only remember entering the Second Dimension. That was it. She had no recollection of the pig-humans capturing her, no clue what had happened, because of Tarkan's mistake.

He guessed she was captured by the pigs immediately upon entering the dimension.

Sigh...

"I thought my luck had gone back to normal," Tarkan muttered.

He wanted to dig a hole and cry.

His eyes drifted to one of the pigs.

Maybe I should just close my eyes... and eat the pig.

The thought barely formed before he gagged, retching and almost vomiting.

Tarkan felt utterly depressed.

And then, as if fate were mocking him, his Timer ticked up.

> [Timer: 00:09:15 (Lvl 2)]

Reverse – Reverse time without restriction, as long as you have enough time.

Revert – Reverse time on a single target, unrestricted, as long as you have enough time.

Physique – Eternal Monarch Physique (Partial)

Rose, who was sitting next to Tarkan, was wondering why he seemed so depressed. Why was he covering his face when there was no one else around? She thought maybe he had a scar and was ashamed to show it.

Seeing Tarkan in such a miserable state, she stood up, wanting to console him.

But then, she saw the way he looked at her.

His eyes were filled with deep rage, like someone had murdered his parents in front of him.

Without warning, Tarkan stormed over to a pig's corpse, tied it up to a post, and started pummeling it like a madman.

His fists flew in a storm of fury, beating the pig until its body looked like minced meat.

He was pissed.

All that work, all that suffering, and the Timer had only increased by the usual one minute.

Ahhhh...

Tarkan screamed in his mind

His fists became a storm. Blow after blow turned the pig's body into minced meat.

He was so furious.

Tarkan even considered using Reverse, to go back in time and slaughter the pigs again. Just to blow off steam.

Eventually, he slumped to the ground, panting. Sweat rolled down his face.

He began to calm.

And just as sudden Tarkan turned his head toward the cliff

Because he could feel several gazes, were watching him, from the hill he had once used to scout the village.

He narrowed his eyes.

Another creature?

Without a sound, he grabbed the sickle at his side and turned to Ane.

"Stay behind me," he said in a low voice.

The girl nodded without a word. After seeing how Tarkan had "violated" the dead pig with his bare fists, she didn't dare disobey. She had no doubts, Tarkan was far too stronger than her.

"We come in peace."

A voice they could understand suddenly rang out from the hill.

...
