One Piece:The Fourth Brother

It has been ten years, since Aden and Luffy got their powers. While Luffy did practice, Aden dedicated nearly every day to discovering the limits of his Devil Fruit ability.

As it turns out, the power did not follow the laws of logic at all. At first, Aden believed that the power of the fruit, now dubbed Gale-Gale Fruit by him, would merely allow him to create, control and turn into wind. However about three years into his training, he discovered a different use. Besides wind blades and devastating gusts of wind, he could now fly. And manipulate the air around him, in ways that he did not think possible.

( Yeah, yeah. I know. Flash back already. Ugh.)

On the clearing Aden has taken as his training ground, a lone figure stood surrounded by twisting currents of air.

Aden was posed in a slightly crouched stance, arms extended in front of him, palms facing towards each other. Between his hands, an orb of rapidly turning wind was barely holding stable. Aden was currently attempting one of his ideas for using his devil fruit. By compressing the air, and increasing the molecular vibration of the collected nitrogen, he was able to heat it up to such a degree, as to form an explosion. And by allowing the oxygen into the mix, the reaction became even more violent. At least in theory.

Right now, he was attempting exactly that.

"Alright. Judging by the heat coming off of this thing, i think it works." thought Aden with teeth gritted with effort.

Just as he was ready to release the attack forwards, a branch snapping was heard from his right.

"AWESOME! Aden, that is so cool!"

"LUFFY!? What are you....?"

As Aden turned to look at Luffy, he lost focus on what he was doing, causing the pressurized and heated up gas to explode right then and there.

Being made of air, it obviously did not hurt him, but as Aden reformed, he heard crying.

Looking over at Luffy, Aden noticed him sitting on the ground, tears streaming down his face and clutching his left eye, blood coming from between his fingers.

Being obviously worried, Aden rushed over to check on Luffy.

"Luffy! Oh my god, are you okay? I am so sorry. It was an accident." Aden spoke frantically trying to get a better look.

"*sniff* I know. But it still hurts!" sniffled Luffy through his tears, moving his hand away.

Aden's eyes widened in shock, as he saw a slightly curved and familiar wound on Luffy left cheek, just under his eye.

"Darn. I am sorry, Luffy. I did not mean for this to happen, truly." said Aden with deep remorse on his face.

"It's okay, bro." said Luffy, cheering up.

"At least Shanks and others will have to take me seriously, now that i will have a cool scar." said Luffy with a goofy grin, that will not let you stay unhappy.

"*pfft* Breezhihihahah. Oh Luffy, you'll never fail to surprise me. You always just bounce back after being knocked down. It's inspiring." Aden said mirthfully.

"Oh courshe. I' hm mahde ohf rhubber." said Luffy, pulling out his cheek to the length of his arm.

"Breezhihihihahaha!"

"Hihihihihi!"

"This makes me wonder though." thought Aden, looking around at the three meter wide crater caused by the explosion.

"If i can heat it up, and maybe shoot fire in some manner, could i go the opposite route as well? Freeze stuff around me?" with that thought, Aden started his walk back to the village along with Luffy.

(And back we go)

As Luffy was preparing to set sail on his small boat, there was a sudden breeze.

"~You didn't think you could leave without me, did you, little brother??~" a voice, carried by the wind, sounding as if it was all around Luffy, spoke.

"Nope. I knew you could catch up." said Luffy cheerfully, turning away from the water.

A person materialized out of thin air. Standing nearly two meters tall, with dark hair about four centimeters long and trimmed short at the sides. He has broad shoulders, and a stocky build(kinda like thinner Blackbeard who did not skip leg day.)

Wearing a dark grey shirt with top two buttons undone, black baggy pants tight around the ankles(like Beerus or Enel, i guess)held by a red belt with a gold buckle, brown boots with buckles and a long coat ending at his ankles with a camouflage grey/off-white pattern on the outside and sky blue inner lining.(If anyone can draw this, it would be appreciated, i cannot draw for crap.)

At his hip he had a pair of daggers. The daggers were shaped in a flowing style, forming a very slight S shape starting wider at the hilt and thinning towards the tip.(Terribly edited picture in the comments)

"So. What's the plan, Luffy? Are we ready to set sail?" Asked Aden with an amused smirk.

"Ready. And the plan is to find a crew. I have you as my Quartermaster. We still need a swordsman, a cook, a navigator, a musician, a shipwright, a doctor, a sniper, and an archeologist." answered Luffy with a grin.

"Of course we do." spoke Aden with an eyeroll "And Quartermaster? Really? Not even the First Mate?" asked Aden with an amused huff.

"Well yeah. You can't be my brother and my First Mate at the same time. That would seem unfair to the rest of the crew...Once we have one, i mean. Shishishi."

" Makes sense, i guess. So where to, Captain?"

"Eh..erm. Forwards?" said Luffy, scratching his head.

"We're so dead." deadpanned Aden as he got in the boat.

" I'm Monkey D. Luffy! And i will be the King of the Pirates!" shouted Luffy standing in the boat.

Aden was just watching him with a smile. Sitting down and using his power to give them a bit more speed, they set off to their adventure.

The very next day, Aden and Luffy got caught in a storm.

"Can't you do something about this, Aden!?"

"What do i look like, a weather wizard?!" shouted Aden, annoyed because he was asked that for the fifth time now.

" Just because i control wind, does not mean i can just blow away a storm!"

"I actually could. But i cannot show off too much. If people knew how powerful i really am, Luffy would be in danger he cannot yet handle." thought Aden to himself, as he watched Luffy throw buckets of water from the boat.

"Aden?"

"What?"

"Is that a whirlpool?" asked Luffy with concern.

"Shit! Luffy get in a barrel. I can't keep the boat from sinking and i can't carry you with me." said Aden in a panicked tone, floating in the air.

Luffy did as told, only seconds before the boat got destroyed.

Once again, Aden could carry him. But he did not want to throw of the plot for now. He will stop holding back so much once they reach Water 7. From what he remembered, that was sort of a turning point. That did not mean he would keep everything as is. He would quietly get rid of some annoying bugs along the way.

As Aden flew away from the storm, knowing Luffy would be okay, he spotted a large ship.

And he knew just where to start.
