Chapter 9: Ch-9 Revive-Revive Card!
"HAHA! Now, now, Zoro—wanna give it a try?" Lucen said with a grin that, to Zoro, looked more like a devil's smirk.
"Shishishi~ You should try it, Zoro! It's fun!"
"No thanks. I'll pass." Zoro said, his left eyebrow twitching.
"Ohh! Too bad."
Lucen put the Capturing Bottle back into his pocket. What remained in his hands now was a mysterious black card.
"What does this do?" Luffy asked curiously, eyes locked on it.
"This? Well, it's called the Revive-Revive Card. It has the power to bring back the dead," Lucen said casually, as if talking about weather.
"Oh! It's just a Revive-Revive Card." ×2
Both Zoro and Luffy nodded, unfazed.
"WAIT…WHAT?!" ×2
The words finally clicked in their brains, and both of them shouted, jaws nearly unhinged and eyeballs threatening to pop out.
"No way! This thing can bring back the dead?!" Zoro exclaimed.
"Yep!" Lucen confirmed.
A picture of Kuina flashed through Zoro's mind—the girl he made a promise to long ago.At the same time, Luffy remembered Sabo, his lost brother.
But—
"There are a few conditions for it to work," Lucen added, snapping them back to reality."Also... I only have one."
"Conditions like what?" Luffy asked seriously.
"You know the saying—after death, the soul travels to the Underworld? So, the first and main condition is: the soul must still be in this world."
"Second, you must use it at the same location where the person died."
"Third—and this one's big—the one who wants to revive them must have a strong emotional bond and an unshakable will to meet them again." Lucen glanced at both of them.
"So, you get it?"
"Yeah… lots of conditions," Luffy said, nodding seriously.
"Seriously, Luffy? You didn't understand a single thing, did you?" Zoro sighed, lying down with eyes closed.
Zoro knew he couldn't use it—not yet. But... a small spark of hope bloomed in his heart.
'Maybe one day… I'll see Kuina again. By then, I'll already be the world's number one swordsman!'
A faint smile curled on Zoro's lips as he drifted into a sweet dream.
Luffy, on the other hand, stared at the Revive Card... very intensely.
"Luffy... do you have someone you'd use it for?" Lucen asked.
"Nope," Luffy replied bluntly, then closed his eyes and instantly fell asleep.
"...Weird. If you have something to say, just say it clearly," Lucen muttered with a deadpan expression.

A Few Hours Later
"I'm hungry..." Luffy mumbled weakly.
"Really? You two are monsters. That was seven days worth of food. GONE. In just two days," Zoro said, clearly irritated.
"Hey! Don't look at me—I wasn't always like this," Lucen said, munching the last piece of meat.
"Really?" Zoro eyed him suspiciously.
"...Wait a minute. You still have food left?" Zoro suddenly narrowed his eyes at Lucen.
Luffy's eyes also locked onto Lucen like a hawk spotting prey.
Slurp.
Lucen swallowed hard, then nonchalantly threw a bone into the sea.
"What are you talking about? Of course not."He turned to the ocean with a calm, guilt-free expression.
"YOU!" ×2
Zoro and Luffy exchanged a glance. No words needed.
"HEY!!""OUCH! STOP!""LUFFY, THAT'S MY LEG!""WAAAHHH!"

Shells Town – Inside a Tall Building
"Damn… who's that shortie? So strong!"
"F@#k, he just beat Crazykiller like it was nothing!"
Inside a shady building, a fight club was in full swing. People here bet on their lives and their fortunes. Even though Morgan had been captured recently—leaving the organizers without their strongest backer—the fights still raged on. The Marines? Eh, they were too busy with pirates. Sometimes, they even came to place bets.
But today… something ridiculous happened.
A 1-meter-tall man in a black hat had one-shotted their strongest fighter.
"I'm not a shortie. I'm Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes."

Back on the Boat
"Ouch… I'm a rubber man. How did you even hurt me?" Luffy whined, his face red and blue.
"I always thought Lucen was physically weak…" Zoro muttered, face equally battered.
Lucen sat peacefully, watching the water.
"Weird… I feel like I'm forgetting something?" Lucen tilted his head.He thought for a moment."...Eh, whatever." He shrugged.
Luffy lay sprawled on the boat."So hungry…"
Just then, a bird flew overhead.
"MEAT!"
Luffy jolted up, energy fully restored.
"Shishishi~ Meat! Meat, here I come!"
He stretched his arms around the bird's long neck and launched himself.
GUM GUM ROCKET!
Zoro watched the whole thing unfold and sighed. He had a bad feeling.
Sure enough, Luffy slammed straight into the bird's mouth.
"LUCEN! ZORO! SAVE ME! WAAAHHH!!"The bird flew off with Luffy half-sticking out its beak.
"WOW. That bird's huge," Lucen said, impressed.
"Quit admiring it and start paddling!" Zoro shouted, yanking the sails.
"YES!" Lucen scrambled to help Zoro paddle in the bird's direction.
"Zoro!"
"WHAT NOW?!"
"Couldn't we just use the WindGod Fan…?"
"...Huh? WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT EARLIER?!" Zoro yelled, shark teeth out.
"Hey, you were in a hurry," Lucen whispered, pouting.
Suddenly—
"HEY! SAVE US!!"
Three people floated in the sea, waving desperately.
"NO TIME! JUST GET ON!" Zoro yelled as the boat sped past.
"WHAAAT?!" ×3
Somehow, they managed to jump aboard. One of them started blabbering:
"You ran us over! But anyway, this ship is now ours—we're proud members of the great Buggy Pirat—"

A Few Seconds Later
"HAHA! W-we didn't know Zoro the Pirate Hunter was on board! And… and this guy…"
The three pirates were now paddling the boat, their faces swollen like balloons. They kept side-eying Lucen, who had nearly crushed their chance of having kids in the future.
"So… what were you doing out there?" Lucen asked curiously.
"We… we were tricked…" the three began their tragic tale.
They spoke of a cute girl who fooled them—but kindly warned them of an incoming storm. They listened to her, and well... their boat got destroyed.
"WOW! She must have amazing navigation skills!" Lucen said, eyes wide.
Zoro nodded, also impressed.
"Zoro! We have to get her to join our crew!" Lucen looked at him excitedly.
"Yeah, we seriously need a navigator. We can't just float around randomly."
Zoro raised one of his swords and bonked the three pirates.
"Row faster! You better pray I find my friend—or you're fish food."
"WAHAHAHA!" ×3
