Saldeath and the Sphinx were just as confident as you—wonder if they've still got a breath left in their bodies.

Qin Chuan slowly walked to the front of the group, and the prisoners around him sensibly cleared a path for him.

Upon hearing Qin Chuan's words, Sadie's face darkened. She knew very well that for Qin Chuan to have made it here, he must have already defeated Saldeath and the Sphinx. She gripped her trident tightly.

It was obvious now—this man in front of her was by no means an ordinary pirate.

"Just you? You can't stop me," Qin Chuan snorted coldly, and with a flash, used Instant Body Technique to appear right beside Sadie.

"Magellan—are you really going to force me to clear Impel Down? I've got a bit of a bad temper, you know. If I really start killing everyone, there might not be anyone left alive to walk out of here."

After saying that, Qin Chuan let go, and Sadie's face slammed hard onto the stone floor again.

Although she wasn't dead yet, with injuries that severe—even if she survived, her fighting strength would likely never recover.

"Director Magellan, you're in trouble now. He's clearly challenging you head-on! Once you lose, I'll finally get to take your place as Warden—hehe!

"Yeah, but you're the Warden. I'm just the Vice, it's not my responsibility!" Hannibal muttered under his breath.

Hannibal was a man with great ambition—his greatest wish was to replace Magellan as the Warden of Impel Down. For that reason, whenever something serious happened, he would always find ways to shift responsibility onto Magellan.

Even now, with Qin Chuan already having defeated several senior officials of Impel Down, Hannibal still looked as though he didn't care at all.

"I'm ordering you—take the main forces down to Level Three immediately and stop them! If you refuse, I'll treat it as insubordination!" Magellan roared furiously.

Under normal circumstances, Magellan wouldn't have bothered to argue with Hannibal. But now, with the entire Impel Down facing imminent destruction, and Hannibal still goofing around, Magellan was utterly enraged.

Hannibal, despite his ambitions, was also deeply afraid of Magellan's strength.

Seeing that Magellan was truly furious, he immediately saluted, grabbed his trident, and hurriedly ran out.

After Hannibal left, a slender, graceful woman stepped forward. She wore reddish-brown sunglasses, her hat tilted to cover her right eye, and had long, curly golden hair. She wore a brown jacket and matching shorts over a white shirt and black tie, paired with deep red knee-high boots and matching gloves.

It was Domino, the current Chief Guard of Impel Down. After Shiryu of the Rain was imprisoned in Level Six, she had taken over his position as Head Jailer.

"Warden, why don't I go down with Vice-Warden Hannibal to fight those rebels?" Domino suggested respectfully.

Magellan's expression grew serious. "Domino, I'm going to give you an extremely important task—this mission may decide the fate of Impel Down, so you must be careful."

"Huh? What mission?" Domino asked cautiously.

"Go down to Level Six, and keep your eyes glued to the surveillance feed from Level Four. If you see me defeated, I want you to immediately release Shiryu of the Rain."

"W-What? Release him? Warden, that's not something to take lightly!"

They were talking about Shiryu of the Rain, the former Head Jailer of Impel Down, a man whose strength was said to rival Magellan's own.

Impel Down's reputation as an impenetrable fortress was largely because of these two terrifying figures. However, because of Shiryu's sadistic tendencies—he often slaughtered prisoners at random—he had eventually been sentenced to death and locked up in the lowest level of the prison.

Now, Magellan was actually suggesting releasing Shiryu—which left Domino deeply conflicted.

"Regardless of what he's done, Shiryu was still one of us. And back then, he only killed prisoners.

I believe that, in this critical moment, he will make the smart choice."
