Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Savage Beast Hell
As soon as Qin Chuan finished speaking, he suddenly kicked hard at one of the cell doors!
BOOM!
With a loud crash, the iron door was actually kicked open by Qin Chuan's single strike.
Immediately, the prisoners inside rushed out at the first opportunity.
Next, they scrambled over to the fallen prison guards to search them for the keys to the other cells.
In just a few minutes, every cell on the entire first floor had been opened!!!
At the same time, the guards in the surveillance room, seeing the chaos unfold, immediately rushed to the Warden's office located on the fourth floor to report the situation!
After being released, all the prisoners gathered around Qin Chuan.
At this moment, everyone understood clearly—there was no way they could escape on their own strength alone.
The man standing before them, Qin Chuan, was now their only hope.
"Brothers! If we don't take down those bastards in charge of Impel Down, we'll never make it out alive! Are you willing to fight with me all the way down?" Qin Chuan shouted from atop the dueling platform.
"YES!"
"KILL THEM!"
The prisoners below immediately roared in excitement.
They had been repressed for far too long. There was no light of hope inside Impel Down. Rather than waiting here to be tortured to death, it was better to rise up and resist.
In the next moment, at Qin Chuan's command, they charged madly toward Level 2.
Level 2 was the Beast Hell, home to all sorts of vicious monsters and beasts—snake-chickens, human-faced lions, giant scorpions, and more.
And presiding over this floor was none other than one of the jailer beasts: Sphinx.
The Sphinx looked like a lion, but with a grotesque, unsettling human-like face that was terrifying to behold.
When Qin Chuan's massive group of prisoners charged down to Level 2, Sphinx was lazily napping on the ground.
"Chop those jailer beasts into pieces!!" As soon as they arrived in Beast Hell, someone shouted at the creatures in front of them—the mini hippos, giant mantises, scorpion combinations, and other monstrous guards.
The next second, countless prisoners, armed with the weapons and ammo they had looted from the first floor, opened fire wildly at the jailer beasts ahead.
As explosions and gunfire filled the air, wave after wave of jailer beasts at the front fell to the ground!
Seeing this success, the morale of the prisoners skyrocketed, and they charged forward with renewed ferocity!
But this sudden attack also awakened Sphinx.
When the Sphinx saw the large number of prisoners rebelling, it immediately stood up and let out a thunderous roar before charging headlong into the crowd!
As soon as it pounced, chaos broke out.
Several prisoners were instantly torn apart by its massive fangs.
Worse yet, when others tried to shoot it with rifles, they were horrified to discover—the bullets couldn't even pierce its skin!
Its defensive power was insanely strong, no wonder it was chosen to guard Beast Hell!
With the Sphinx now engaged, the remaining jailer beasts began mounting a massive counterattack.
Seeing this, Qin Chuan didn't hesitate for a second. He leaped into the air, stepping on the heads of the crowd as he charged straight at the Sphinx!
As soon as he reached the beast's side, he muttered, "First Gate: Gate of Opening—Open!"
The Gate of Opening was the first of the Eight Inner Gates, unlocking the brain's limiters and allowing the user to unleash 100% of their body's power—greatly enhancing attack power and speed at the cost of intense bodily strain.
Upon opening the First Gate, Qin Chuan could now execute the powerful Taijutsu move: Front Lotus.
The Sphinx also sensed Qin Chuan's approach and immediately opened its bloody maw, attempting to swallow him whole!
"You want to eat me? Take this! Front Lotus!!"
In the next instant, Qin Chuan's foot slammed directly upward into the Sphinx's chin!
Caught completely off guard, the Sphinx took the kick full force, its enormous body flipping up into the air.
Then, Qin Chuan used his Instant Body Technique to quickly reposition himself above it, locked his arms around the beast midair, and drove it downward toward the ground with terrifying speed.
BOOOOOOM—!
The impact was so fierce that before the Sphinx could even react, its massive skull was smashed deep into the hardened stone floor, leaving behind a giant crater.
Suffering a direct, brutal blow to the head, the Sphinx immediately lost consciousness.
Ding! Congratulations, Host, for defeating your enemy. You have received 3,000 Fame Points.
Compared to Saldeath, the Sphinx's reward was lower, earning Qin Chuan only 3,000 Fame Points.
Clearly, while powerful, it was no match for high-level human opponents in terms of threat value.
Seeing their mighty leader fall in just a single round, the remaining jailer beasts were completely stunned. Several of them even began trying to flee.
On the prisoners' side, when they saw Qin Chuan defeat the terrifying Sphinx with just one move, their morale exploded once more!
Without hesitation, they continued charging forward.
As for the beasts trying to escape to the third floor (Starvation Hell)—before they could make it halfway, they were blocked by several massive figures charging up from below!
A moment later, a woman stepped forward from between the towering beasts. She had curly blonde hair, long bangs covering her eyes, wore candle-shaped white earrings, and was dressed in a tight-fitting, hot pink bodysuit.
This woman was none other than Sadie, commander of the four giant Jailer Beasts of Impel Down's fourth floor—Blazing Hell—and Chief Guard of the entire prison.
Sadie calmly raised her trident and pointed it at the fleeing jailer beasts, issuing a cold warning:
"Anyone who dares take another step backward—will be executed on the spot!"
As soon as her words fell, the four gigantic Jailer Beasts behind her stepped forward in unison.
Seeing this terrifying display, the remaining mini jailer beasts nearly lost their minds with fear. While they feared Qin Chuan's strength, they were utterly terrified of Sadie.
Faced with no other choice, the beasts slowly turned back around and charged forward against the wave of rebellious prisoners, gritting their teeth in despair.
But facing the ferocious and determined mob of prisoners, these jailer beasts stood no chance.
One by one, they were swiftly beaten down and killed.
Soon after, the two opposing groups finally clashed in the center of Level 2.
Even though Sadie commanded a fearsome presence, she was still no match for the threat level of the Sphinx.
So, when the prisoners saw Sadie step forward—they instinctively paused, feeling both fear and hesitation.
