Chapter 158: Chapter 158: Shiryu Of The Rain.
Magellan was already impressed by Chiga's endless array of mysterious abilities, so when Chiga mentioned he could help solve his bathroom issue, Magellan felt a surge of hope.
Whatever lingering resentment had survived after Chiga's poisonous dragon blast had now completely vanished.
With a mischievous grin, Chiga first released Kalifa from the Door-Door Space, then immediately activated his ROOM space.
He casually strolled behind Magellan. As the prison warden tried to turn around, Chiga calmly instructed,
"Don't move. I'm looking for the best angle."
"Best angle…?"
Although puzzled, Magellan obediently stood still, almost like a soldier at attention.
Chiga's gaze lingered on Magellan's rear, prompting Kalifa's mouth to twitch involuntarily.
Then, Chiga moved.
With a swift, precise motion, Magellan's butt detached cleanly from his lower half. In its place was a smooth, black surface where it had once been.
Magellan felt nothing during the separation, but when the dislodged portion hit the floor, a strange sensation surged through him—as if he'd fallen on his backside.
Startled, he spun around to see a chunk of his pants-clad rear lying on the ground.
At first, Magellan didn't recognize the object as his own. Only when he instinctively reached behind and found nothing there did he cry out in horror,
"Where's my butt!?"
Chiga raised a hand calmly, gesturing for him to relax. But how could Magellan stay calm when his backside had just been surgically removed?
Bending down, Magellan scooped up his own butt and glared at Chiga with a mix of confusion and dread.
"What the hell did you do to my butt!?"
"I just separated it from your body. Now you can leave it on the toilet. That way, you can... release anytime, anywhere."
"!"
It was like a bolt of lightning struck Magellan's brain.
"You can do that!?"
Kalifa was left speechless by what she was witnessing. Once again, Chiga had managed to completely shatter her expectations of human decency.
Whenever Chiga was in a good mood, he didn't just laugh—he pulled off absurd stunts that made people question reality itself.
Yet, for Magellan, this was nothing short of life-changing. A solution to a long-standing problem he could never publicly address.
From now on, he could sit at his desk while his rear handled business in the toilet.
Holding his separated backside with both hands, Magellan looked at Chiga with gratitude brimming in his eyes.
"I really appreciate this! I'm going to test it right away. Roam freely—doesn't matter whether you have a key or not!"
Without waiting for a response, Magellan rushed off, butt in hand.
Chiga watched him go, amused, then turned to Kalifa.
But as soon as Kalifa noticed his gaze, she instinctively took two steps back and subtly glanced at his hands.
That reaction caught Chiga off guard. He frowned.
"Kalifa, what are you doing?"
"Boss… maybe you should wash your hands? Magellan hangs out in the toilet all day… and you just, uh…"
Chiga's face darkened.
Sure, he had just performed a human-butt separation procedure, but heaven knows he didn't touch anything. It was a clean, remote ability. He had just gestured from a distance!
Did she really need to look at him like that?
The more he thought about it, the more annoyed he became. He strode forward, reached out, and pulled Kalifa into his arms.
She gave a token resistance but quickly melted into his embrace. She had only been teasing him earlier.
Satisfied, Chiga smiled and leisurely wandered through the infamous Impel Down prison with Kalifa in his arms.
On either side of them, the cells were eerily silent.
The inmates weren't weak by any means. Word had already spread—powerful presences had vanished one after another, sending chills down the spines of these hardened criminals.
Now, as Chiga walked by, everyone recognized him as the cause of the carnage.
None of them dared to speak. No one wanted to be the next to vanish mysteriously.
But there's always one who just doesn't get it.
As Chiga passed a particular cell with Kalifa still in his arms, a deep voice called out from inside,
"So this is the Marine Admiral I've heard about. Let me out. I'll follow your lead!"
"Hm?"
Chiga raised an eyebrow and turned toward the cell. Inside was a burly man in prison garb, seated casually.
He knew the man well—Shiryu of the Rain, the former head jailer of Impel Down.
A traitor to his core. In the original timeline, he had pretended to be loyal, only to aid the Blackbeard Pirates after escaping.
Chiga also remembered how Shiryu had tortured prisoners for pleasure—even killed his own subordinates. That was why Magellan had locked him away.
With that in mind, Chiga's expression grew cold.
Shiryu, unaware of the killing intent directed at him, continued speaking.
"I'm Shiryu of the Rain. I used to be head jailer. I made a mistake, sure, but I've had time to think. Let me out, I'll become your strongest subordinate!"
Chiga sneered.
"I don't take in trash."
"Nani?!"
Rage distorted Shiryu's face, and as he stood up, Chiga was suddenly already in front of the cell.
Reflexively, Shiryu swung his shackled arms in a powerful strike.
Bang!
But in the next instant, he was launched backward like a ragdoll, slamming into the wall so hard that he became embedded in it.
"Ugh!"
Coughing up blood, Shiryu felt his insides twist in agony. Trembling, he looked up at Chiga with unmistakable fear.
Chiga casually pulled a coin from his pocket, flicked it in his hand, then aimed it at Shiryu.
Seeing the motion, Shiryu panicked.
"You can't kill me! I'm still the head jailer! I—I… cough!"
Before he could finish, Chiga had already flicked the coin.
It shot forward like a bullet, right into Shiryu's open mouth, straight down his throat.
The former jailer gagged, coughing violently, but managed to shout,
"I'm a swordsman! I don't even have a weapon! Give me a sword and I'll fight you fair—!"
His Observation Haki was sharp; he had sensed what happened in Douglas Bullet's cell. He was gambling everything on this last chance.
But Chiga didn't even acknowledge the plea.
"You? Worthy?."
"No—!"
PFFT!
Shiliew's body exploded within the wall, his blood painting the stone like grotesque art.
At the center of the destruction remained a giant golden coin—five meters wide—where his body had once been.
