With Momonosuke dealt with, only Chiga and Kalifa remained in the clearing. Momonosuke and the others had all turned to ash and were now scattered by the wind.

Kalifa gracefully walked over to Chiga, a look of hesitation on her face.

Chiga thought Kalifa was feeling sympathetic and asked, "What's wrong? Do you think my methods were too cruel?"

Kalifa quickly waved her hand. How could she find Chiga cruel? She simply wanted to confirm who that disgusting person in the Flower Capital—the one that made Chiga feel nauseous just thinking about—actually was.

"No, Boss, I wanted to ask… that disgusting guy you mentioned earlier. Was it one of those five just now?"

"Yes, it was that child, Momonosuke."

"So it was him? That makes sense. That little brat didn't seem like a good person at all."

"As expected of my secretary. Your eye for people is as sharp as mine!"

"Thank you for the compliment, Boss!"

After a brief playful moment, Chiga took Kalifa and left the area, flying toward Onigashima.

Onigashima

The moment Chiga and Kalifa landed, numerous Beast Pirates swarmed them, surrounding the two.

It had to be said that as members of a Yonko crew, their vigilance and combat prowess were far superior to the average pirates sailing the seas.

However, in front of Chiga, they were merely slightly larger ants.

Chiga stood still, holding Kalifa's hand. With a surge of Shinra Tensei, a terrifying repulsive force exploded outward, instantly swallowing the surrounding pirates, leaving nothing behind.

In just a few breaths, the area was littered with severed limbs and broken bodies. The scene resembled a living hell.

This time, Kalifa looked at her boss with a hint of speechlessness. Such brutality was genuinely nauseating.

Chiga was also helpless. Ever since his Rinnegan awakened its seventh tomoe, the surge in ocular power had greatly enhanced all its core abilities. Even a regular Shinra Tensei, if he wasn't careful, could reach the destructive level of Pain's Super Shinra Tensei from Naruto. If there were only enemies nearby, that was fine. But if allies were present—it could be disastrous.

Too much power wasn't always a blessing. Controlling it had become truly troublesome.

Chiga sighed inwardly with a hint of humble pride while Kalifa scanned their surroundings and said, "Boss, you caused such a huge commotion. Why hasn't Kaido appeared yet?"

Chiga shook his head and replied calmly, "Don't bother thinking about it. Kaido isn't on the island."

"Huh? Then why are we here?"

"Nothing special. Just making a statement. So those five old geezers don't start thinking I took the Op-Op Fruit again. What do they take me for?"

"…No, of course not."

Kalifa shook her head helplessly. She already knew Chiga had absorbed the Op-Op Fruit; after all, he had mischievously used its power to give her and Ain an X-ray scan...

Thinking of that incident, Kalifa's gaze toward Chiga grew increasingly strange, making him feel slightly uneasy.

Clearing his throat twice, Chiga took Kalifa's hand, and the two slowly began to ascend.

Suddenly, a clear female voice rang out:

"Stop! Who destroyed this place!?"

As the voice echoed, a tall woman wielding a black spiked club appeared below them.

She wore a sleeveless white kimono, had a strikingly beautiful face, and looked to be around twenty years old. Her long white hair faded into green and blue at the tips, and a pair of red, ox-like horns jutted from her head.

Strangely, she wore a set of specialized shackles on her wrists.

Kalifa, hovering in the air, scrutinized the newcomer. "Who is that? Her appearance is so… unique. Is she from some special race?"

Chiga was already familiar with the woman. He said, "Yes. See those horns? Her name is Yamato—Kaido's daughter. Like him, she's part of the Oni race."

"Kaido's daughter!?"

Kalifa gasped and covered her mouth, staring down at Yamato with renewed curiosity.

Yamato's eyes widened as she watched the two in the air whispering. It was clear they were talking about her.

Yamato had a straightforward personality, and being discussed so openly made her blush with embarrassment.

Gripping her spiked club tightly, she exhaled. A white cold mist spewed from her mouth and coiled around the weapon.

She glared at the sky. Seeing the two still gossiping, Yamato could no longer hold back. She raised the club, now wreathed in icy mist, and swung it upward.

"Maha Fubuki!"

A blade-like blast of frigid air shot skyward, aiming for Chiga and Kalifa. Yamato pressed her lips together, fully expecting to freeze them solid.

However, Chiga merely extended a hand and caught the cold energy mid-air. With a casual squeeze, he crushed it into scattered white mist.

Yamato stared in stunned disbelief.

Chiga looked at his palm, which still emitted lingering frost. He sighed. As expected of Kaido's child—this attack alone showed Yamato already possessed the strength to contend with a regular Warlord.

In the original timeline, Ace would arrive in a few years and challenge Kaido. With Kaido absent, Ace and Yamato would fight to a draw.

But that event would never happen now. After all, Ace had already been persuaded by him to join the Revolutionary Army…

Shaking off those thoughts, Chiga focused again on Yamato. Due to her lack of a normal upbringing, her mind was a little… incomplete. She had been deeply influenced by Oden's absurd ideals. And after discovering Oden's diary, her isolation and yearning for meaning led her to idolize the man. She even changed her name to Kozuki Oden, which was extreme in every sense.

Looking at Yamato's bright, starry eyes below, Chiga suddenly felt a wave of irritation. How could a fool like Oden have fanatics like this? Did that idiot even deserve such loyalty?

He felt that Yamato needed some serious re-education. After all, even Ace had been swayed by him to join the Revolutionary Army. Changing Yamato's views shouldn't be too difficult.

With that, his gaze toward Yamato grew more dangerous. A strange purple light flickered across his Rinnegan.

Before they could talk, a beating was definitely in order.

Yamato shivered slightly below. She tightened her grip on her club, her gaze fixed on Chiga in the sky. For some reason, the sensation reminded her eerily of when Kaido was about to punish her as a child…
