"Even if Luffy grew faster, do you really think he could surpass Byakuya?" Shanks remained silent.

Byakuya was only about two years older than Luffy, yet the gap in their strength was like night and day.

"You're right. For the sake of our ideals, we'll take one last gamble!" Shanks gathered his crew and announced their next move.

While Lucky Roux and the others were shocked by Shanks' connection to the Five Elders, they had been with him for years and understood his true intentions.

Without hesitation, they pledged to follow him to the Red Line. Shanks pulled Yasopp into a secluded corner as the crew prepared to set sail.

"Has Ace regained his memories since waking up?" Yasopp shook his head.

"Not yet. He only remembers that he's Ace and has two younger brothers."

A flicker of sadness flashed in Shanks' eyes, but there was also a hint of relief.

He sighed and murmured, "Maybe that's for the best."

If Ace knew that Byakuya had killed Whitebeard, he would seek revenge, which would be no different from throwing his life away.

With his memory loss, that disaster could at least be avoided. It had all been a coincidence.

Back then, Benn Beckman had predicted that the World Government would exploit Ace's connection to Whitebeard, using it to make Whitebeard attack the Night Organization.

Acting cautiously, Shanks had led his crew to Gal Island after receiving intelligence that the Night Organization was there.

However, they arrived just a moment too late, only to witness Ace falling into the sea from a distance.

They ordered a Fish-Man crew member to dive in and rescue him without hesitation.

By the time they pulled Ace from the water, he was already in a deep coma.

Even after extensive treatment from the ship's doctor, he never regained consciousness.

Shanks decided to keep Ace's survival a secret, just as the World Government had hoped Whitebeard would take care of Byakuya.

In the end, however, the Whitebeard Pirates were annihilated at Byakuya's hands.

Shanks hesitated for a long time before finally making a decision. "Yasopp, you're not coming with us to the Red Line this time."

Yasopp was stunned, unsure why Shanks had made such a decision.

"You should take your son and Ace back to the East Blue. It's time to make up for all the years you've been away from your son."

"Captain, I…" Shanks patted Yasopp's shoulder and said,

"Back then, I chose to save Luffy instead of Usopp. I owe you for that. Consider this my way of making it up to you." Tears welled up in Yasopp's eyes.

Having witnessed Byakuya single-handedly annihilate three Emperor-level pirate crews, he understood what it meant to set foot on the Red Line this time.

He had originally planned to ask Shanks to let Usopp take Ace and escape, but he never expected Shanks to send all three of them away.

With a hearty laugh, Shanks said, "Enough with the sentimentality. Once we leave, we'll draw the Night Organization's attention."

"When the battle is about to begin, take Ace and Usopp through Fish-Man Island and leave the New World. 'Knight of the Sea' Jinbe is Ace's friend—he'll help you."

Yasopp nodded firmly. "Understood."

While the Red-Haired Pirates packed up and prepared for departure, the World Government also made preparations.

Under direct orders, the entire Marine force began a large-scale reorganization, abandoning regional branch bases and recalling all elite soldiers for deployment.

On leave in the East Blue, even Garp received an urgent order demanding his immediate return to Marine Headquarters.

If he failed to comply, his "Marine Hero" title would be revoked.

Kong, who oversaw all military forces, knew that such a move would provoke dissatisfaction from both Garp and the Marines.

However, he simply did not care. If they could eliminate Byakuya and the Night Organization, then Garp's objections were irrelevant.

If they failed, his dissatisfaction would be meaningless anyway.

...

Meanwhile, agents from the CP organizations who had been deployed worldwide were also rushing back to Mary Geoise.

The entire ocean could feel the tension of the impending war.

With Byakuya's words at the Sabaody Archipelago spreading far and wide, the world quickly realized that the final battle to determine the fate of the seas was about to begin.

No one was surprised. Byakuya's strength was undeniable, and it was only a matter of time before he clashed with the World Government.

They simply hadn't expected it to happen so soon. The countdown had begun, and with every passing second, the tension in the world grew.

To demonstrate their absolute confidence in victory, the Five Elders broadcast the entire battle live to the world, showcasing the overwhelming power of the World Government.

On the eve of the decisive battle, the world finally saw the extent of the World Government's preparations.

The Red Line was surrounded by 100,000 elite Marine soldiers stationed on the outer perimeter, commanded by Marine Rear Admirals.

The second defensive line was formed by 19 Marine Vice Admirals and the elite members of CP1 through CP9.

Although Byakuya had previously annihilated CP8 and CP9, the World Government had since recruited new members to replace them.

Moving further inward, Fleet Admiral Sakazuki stood at the core of the defenses, flanked by Admirals Green Bull and Kizaru, along with "Marine Hero" Garp and former Fleet Admiral Sengoku.

Opposite the Marines stood the enigmatic CP0. With Zero-Two already dead, nine members remained, and their leader's aura was on par with the Marine Admirals'.

At the heart of it all, overseeing everything, was Commander-in-Chief Kong.

Although the World Government referred to its forces as the "Three Armies," only the Marines were truly formidable.

At the same time, the Army and Air Force were considerably weaker, lacking the power to make a difference.

If all three branches of the World Government's military had been equally powerful, the Great Pirate Era would never have shaken the world as it did.

To everyone's shock, the remnants of the Red-Haired Pirates—one of the original Four Emperors—also appeared on the Red Line.

Although they did not stand directly alongside the Marines or CP agents, their presence made it clear that they had allied with the World Government.

A Yonko crew siding with the World Government spoke volumes about the immense threat by Byakuya and the Night Organization.

In the New World, at the former G-5 base, Lucci turned to Byakuya and asked,

"Lord Byakuya, Dragon plans to use our battle as an opportunity to seize control of the remaining three seas and even advance into the first half of the Grand Line."

"He hopes we can provide a large number of 'Hearts of Justice' as support and promises to repay the Devil Fruits he owes us later."

Enel scoffed, clearly displeased. "The Revolutionary Army sure knows how to take advantage of a situation."

"While we fight the World Government head-on, they sit back and snatch up territories. And now they want credit? Are they expecting everything to go their way?"

Ignoring Enel, Lucci continued, "Lord Byakuya, should we lend it to him or not?" Byakuya chuckled. "Of course, we'll lend it."

If Dragon had worked so hard to seize new territories, Byakuya would have been naturally happy to assist.

After all, everything Dragon captured would ultimately belong to him.
