One Piece: My Crew Members Are Legendary 3D Heroines

Chapter 27: Chapter 27: Mona’s Figure

Since Mona didn't know the first thing about sailing worse even than Ethan Chen she couldn't be considered a proper navigator just yet. Naturally, the system didn't register the quest to recruit a navigator as complete.

But there was no deadline anyway, so letting Mona study for now was fine.

For the seas of the East Blue, the basic navigation skills Ethan picked up in the fishing village were already more than sufficient.

Having caught nothing, Ethan packed up his fishing gear and headed in to shower and rest for the night.

He pushed open the door to the captain's quarters only to find not just 2B, but also Mona inside.

Her figure was slim and delicate, ribs faintly visible beneath her fair skin. Her waist could be encircled with one hand, yet her hips were round and lifted, her thighs full and shapely.

She was radiant. Her skin was fair with a soft pink hue, almost glowing.

Mona turned around at the sound. Their eyes met for several seconds Ethan's reaction was faster. Before Mona could let out a witch's shriek, he quickly shut the door again.

Girls were always such trouble. It had already been half an hour, and she still hadn't picked out an outfit.

He leaned against the railing outside, letting the night breeze ruffle his hair, watching the stars and listening to the crash of waves.

Finally, the door behind him opened. Mona emerged, dressed in something halfway decent.

She was still wearing Ethan's oversized white dress shirt, but had paired it with a high-waisted, ankle-length skirt. The hem of the shirt was tucked in to cinch her waist, giving her a neat, tucked-in look.

She stormed up to him, fuming. "Why didn't you knock? Didn't you know someone was in there?!"

"It's my room. Why would I knock?" Ethan replied matter-of-factly. "And besides, you've been picking an outfit for over half an hour. You're really blaming me?"

"I was also showering, you know! You think picking clothes takes two minutes?" Mona protested, then paused, catching something in his phrasing. "Wait. You said it's your room? Then why is 2B..."

"We share a room," Ethan said plainly.

"Eh?!"

Ethan raised a brow. "You couldn't tell?"

"I kind of suspected... but 2B is so cold and stoic, like an emotionless swordswoman. She doesn't seem like the type to care about romance at all."

"Don't judge by appearances. 2B is actually quite... passionate."

Especially in bed. Even Ethan had trouble keeping up.

Mona blinked. "That's unexpected. Hmm... but me staying on the ship won't interfere with the two of you, right?"

"What are you worried about? You won't be the only crew member. We'll be recruiting more soon. This will be a proper team."

"That's a relief," Mona sighed. If it were just the two of them as a couple and she a lone third wheel, that would've been awkward.

Back in her hometown, there was an old saying: "Interrupting a couple's love will earn you a collision with a wild boar." She wasn't about to risk that.

"It's getting late," Ethan said, turning back to lean on the railing. "You should rest. This world is chaotic. Whether you've got business or not, never wander off the ship alone."

"I know that. Alright then, goodnight."

Mona waved and started toward her room. After a few steps, she paused. Wait he'd just barged in while she was changing, and he hadn't even apologized!

She turned back around, only to walk straight into his chest.

"Why'd you stop so suddenly?" Ethan caught her by the waist, steadying her before she could fall. He also took the chance to subtly feel the firmness of her waistline.

It wasn't soft Mona was too slim. Her ribs poked right into him.

She jerked away, face flushed. "You... You're not even going to apologize for walking in on me?!"

"What do you want me to do?" Ethan looked at her, puzzled. "Want to peek at me to even the score?"

"You perv!" Mona backed up a couple steps, suspicious. "At least say sorry! Or are you planning to abuse your authority as captain to do whatever you want?!"

"You really want an apology?" Ethan was baffled. "I didn't even see anything. Just ribs. Lots of ribs."

That stung more than the intrusion itself.

It wasn't that Mona thought she could rival 2B's voluptuous curves, but come on she wasn't that flat. She had something! At least the size of little fists!

And sure, her chest wasn't impressive, but her waist, hips, and legs were her pride. Slim, curvy, round, and firm.

And yet, in his eyes, she was all ribs?!

Mona saw red. She clenched her fists and charged. "Bastard! I'm gonna kill you!"

Ethan wasn't about to fight her. He took off, circling around the mast in a game of cat and mouse.

But Mona was no stranger to this game. With a sly grin, she melted into a stream of water and dashed forward like a rushing current.

It was a skill she'd developed under her teacher's relentless chases melding into water for rapid movement. She called it: Illusive Flow.

In an instant, she reappeared in front of Ethan, catching him off guard and tackling him to the deck.

Pinning him down, straddling his waist, she beamed triumphantly. "Well? Try running now!"

"Okay, okay, I give up," Ethan surrendered. "It's my fault. I shouldn't have joked about your ribs. Your hips and legs are actually... pretty nice. Softer than I expected."

That shut Mona up. She leapt away as if scorched, cheeks burning. "You jerk! You perv!"

Ethan sat up. "So what do you want then? Insults offend you, compliments offend you how am I supposed to talk to you?"

"Just don't talk about my body at all!"

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have barged in. I shouldn't have said anything about your body."

He didn't want to upset her too much. If she got mad enough to quit, that'd be a pain.

Girls really were troublesome.

"Hmph. That was totally insincere," Mona pouted, glaring as she flounced off, twin-tails swinging.

Definitely a bit tsundere.

Ethan didn't linger on the deck either. He returned to the cabin, ready for a shower and some rest.

Inside, 2B was maintaining the support drone. Seeing Ethan enter, she asked, "How did things go with Mona?"

Ethan stepped into the bathroom, leaving the door open. "How could anything go? She's just a kid. We were just fooling around."

"I thought you might initiate reproductive behavior with her."

"Huh?" Ethan turned to look at the drone. "Her genome matched?"

"No."

"Oh." Ethan wasn't surprised. They weren't from the same world. Of course their genetics wouldn't align perfectly.

Besides, people from Teyvat were strange enough already some were created by the Primordial One, others evolved from draconic lizards, some were born from water wombs.

Species barriers were just the norm.

"None of the locals on this island match either," 2B said.

"No rush. I'm still young. We've got time."

"Mm."

Still, 2B seemed slightly disappointed. She set the drone on the desk and instructed it to keep watch through the night. Then, as she untied the sash of her nightgown, she walked toward Ethan in the shower.

"I'll wash your back."

Ethan knew what she really meant. What she wanted was far more than just helping him bathe.
