Chapter 461: Chapter 462: Infiltrating Impel Down
Chapter 462: Infiltrating Impel Down
Outside Impel Down, on the calm ocean surface…
A sleek black submarine drifted silently, blending seamlessly into the surrounding waters.
"So that's Impel Down?"
Everyone on board stared at the screen in amazement.
Who would've thought there'd be a giant gate in the middle of the sea?
"That's the Gate of Justice. Once it opens, we're in."
Charlotte gazed at the massive gate in front of them, his tone calm.
The crew's expressions turned solemn.
"Tesla, proceed as planned."
Charlotte looked at Tesla and gave the signal.
"Don't worry, Dad. Leave it to me."
Tesla nodded confidently and stepped out with the infiltration team.
The operation had begun.
Charlotte nodded once more.
Tesla's body transformed into a streak of lightning and shot toward the sky.
High above, thousands of meters up, the patrol guards on Impel Down's outer levels had no clue someone was directly above them.
"Magnetic Storm!"
Tesla clapped his hands, and crackling lightning burst forth, quickly enveloping all of Impel Down.
In an instant, every communication device went dead.
Den Den Mushi drooped their heads as if falling into a deep sleep.
Even the patrolling guards felt their heads buzz, like they'd been smacked by hammers.
They looked up at the cloudy sky in confusion.
"What the hell? Thunderstorms in the Calm Belt?"
The guards grew tense.
One lookout squinted into his telescope.
"There's someone in the sky!"
He spotted a young man hovering beneath the thunderclouds, electricity dancing wildly around him, lightning flashing in his eyes.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Sound the alarm!"
The lookout shouted into the loudspeaker, spreading the message across the plaza.
Woooooo!
Sirens blared!
Chaos erupted as guards grabbed their weapons and scrambled into formation.
Down on Level 4—
Magellan was inspecting cells when the alarm went off.
"What's going on?"
He turned, confused, and quickly reached for the Den Den Mushi.
But the creature's head hung low—nonfunctional.
Magellan's face darkened. He dashed toward the Warden's office.

Outside the Gate of Justice…
As the prison was engulfed in lightning and the alarm echoed through the sea, Charlotte gave the final command.
"Go!"
"Thunder Welcome!"
Tesla dropped from the sky, crashing onto the massive gate. With a wave of his hand, lightning arced everywhere, frying nearby guards in an instant.
He turned into a bolt of lightning and zipped toward the Gate Control Room.
After eliminating all the guards in his path, Tesla reached the control panel.
With practiced ease, he found the switch and pressed it.
Clank…
Rumble!
The enormous Gate of Justice began to open.
Charlotte smiled calmly.
"Tesla did it. Move out!"
He led the charge.
---
Inside the gate, support troops gasped.
"The Gate of Justice… it's open!"
A man riding a unicycle and wielding a trident panicked.
"That's Warden Hannibal!"
The guards were relieved at the sight of him.
"Soldiers! Follow your future Chief Warden! Stop the intruders!"
Hannibal shouted with confidence—still unaware of who had come.
But when he arrived at the gate and saw the intruders, he froze.
Especially when he saw the man leading them.
"Lo-Lo-Lo-Lockefeller Charlotte?!"
He stammered in disbelief.
Charlotte gave him a faint glance.
"Well, if it isn't the future warden himself."
He chuckled.
This guy always bragged about being the next Warden. Funny enough, he actually would be in the future.
"Th-that's right! I am the future Warden!"
Hannibal beamed, proud for a second—but then his legs began shaking again.
"Lo-Lo-Lo-Lockefeller Charlotte, I'm warning you! This is Impel Down! You'd better not mess around. The Navy could show up at any time! If you leave now, I'll pretend this never happened!"
He pointed his trident at Charlotte.
Charlotte smiled.
"Relax. I'm not here to cause trouble—just came to pick up a few people."
"Good, good… wait, what? Who could you possibly want from here?"
Hannibal looked confused, then worried.
"Golden Lion Shiki and Red Earl Patrick Redfield."
Charlotte replied with a grin.
Hannibal's face turned pale.
"No way!"
He refused without thinking.
Then immediately regretted it.
This was Charlotte. He wasn't someone Hannibal could say "no" to.
"Attack."
Charlotte didn't bother wasting breath.
"Hey hey!"
Robert and Deidara stepped out.
"He's mine."
"No, I called dibs."
The two charged forward.
Charlotte led the rest inside.
"Stop right there!"
Hannibal tried to block them, sweating buckets.
"Dad, I've got this."
Tesla stepped forward and faced Hannibal.
"Alright."
Charlotte nodded and moved into Level 1.

Crimson Hell – Level 1
"What's going on up there? Sounds like an invasion…"
The prisoners whispered, having heard the alarms and the distant sounds of fighting.
"Is someone breaking into the prison?"
The very idea made hearts race. Inmates gripped the bars of their cells, trying to catch a glimpse.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Footsteps echoed—then screams.
"Ahhhh!"
"Gahhhh!"
Boom!
Bodies went flying down the corridors like rag dolls, smashing into walls.
The prisoners watched in stunned silence as guards were tossed like toys.
Thud.
The sound of collapsed bodies was followed by steady, heavy footsteps.
No longer rushed.
Charlotte and dozens of his crew entered the Crimson Hell.
"So this is Crimson Hell…"
Caesar looked around, intrigued by the blade-like grass and razor-leafed trees.
"Lockefeller Charlotte!"
Someone screamed. All eyes turned to the figure standing in the entryway.
