One Piece: Enslaving a Celestial Dragon and Kidnapping Nami and Robin

Chapter 95: [95] The Shame of the Seven Warlords

"Perona?"

Seeing the unconscious, smoke-covered girl with her eyes rolled back, Sora was momentarily stunned.

He had been searching for her this whole time, and she showed up in… this completely ridiculous way.

"Moria must've hidden her on his person, planning to have her ambush you using her ghost abilities," Reiju guessed, giving the limp Perona a quick inspection.

"Too bad for them—Moria got hit with Nami's large-scale lightning attack right at the start, and Perona was caught in it too. Knocked her out cold before she could do anything."

Sora couldn't help but laugh. "Talk about unlucky…"

Perona's Hollow-Hollow Fruit had one glaring weakness—her physical body. Moria probably thought hiding her on him would be the safest option and ideal for a sneak attack.

But Nami had opened the fight with an area-of-effect thunderstrike… and Perona was instantly knocked offline.

Good thing Nami had only hit twice, and that Nojiko's bombs and Reiju's poison hadn't reached her. Otherwise, she'd be toast.

Sora gently cradled Perona and began purifying her with his healing ability to ensure she didn't die from the collateral damage.

While treating her, he started issuing commands.

"Everyone, get on the island. Clear out all the zombies and monsters. Dump them into the sea."

"This ship's going to be our new mobile base."

The Thriller Bark was massive—comparable to an island—and perfect for conversion into a floating fortress. Once his system upgraded and unlocked a new ship slot, he would immediately bind it.

But first, the undead infestation had to go.

Sora continued, "Also, there's a doctor on board named Hogback. Kalifa, you're to capture him, interrogate him for all hidden treasure locations, give his medical books to Kaya, and then get rid of him."

"Lastly, have Kalifa inventory all treasures and supplies aboard and report back."

The downside of 'Kill Mode' was that he didn't automatically collect treasure—it had to be found manually. But that just made Kalifa's secretary role feel more authentic.

"What about him?" Nami asked, pointing to the unconscious Moria still pinned under Reiju's heel.

"Kill him, of course."

Without a word, Reiju walked over to the legendary sword Shusui, picked it up, stepped back to Moria, and raised it high above her head.

Slash!

Blood sprayed.

『Ding! You have killed Warlord of the Sea Gecko Moria. You may now claim his treasure and bounty, or forgo both in exchange for his Devil Fruit.』

『Ding! Acquired: Paramecia-type Shadow-Shadow Fruit. Value: 640 million Berries.』

『Would you like to pay this value in treasure?』

"A fallen warlord…" Sora said dramatically as he looked down at Moria's severed head under Reiju's foot.

The next second, a black Devil Fruit appeared in his hand.

Just then, Perona groggily regained consciousness in Sora's arms.

"Who… are you?"

She blinked, clearly still dazed, and looked around—only to spot Moria's severed head at Reiju's feet.

"Moria-sama…?"

And once she fully registered his decapitated body—

Thud!

She passed out again, overcome with fear and disbelief.

"Tch… Her ability might be ridiculous, but she's still just a girl."

Sora shook his head and tucked the Shadow Fruit into his dimensional storage box.

Reiju, Nami, and Nojiko then dragged Moria's corpse toward the castle entrance to toss it into the sea.

Not long after, Kaya, Anna, and Shalria arrived to take Perona for treatment.

Kaya was responsible for healing her, while Anna and Shalria headed off to prepare Sora's quarters—and his usual "routine."

While the rest of the crew cleaned out the island's zombies, Sora, carrying Shusui, made his way to the storage chamber—where he laid eyes on Moria's pride and joy: the massive corpse of the demon giant, Oars.

"Damn, that's big…"

Oars' corpse stood over 60 meters tall, far larger than the average 15-meter giants.

"Wonder what kind of power it would have with a martial arts master's or a top swordsman's shadow…"

"A punch to shatter a mountain? A slash to cleave a river? Wouldn't be surprising."

As the thought trailed off, Sora froze.

He realized exactly why Moria had targeted him in the first place.

"…So that's it. He was after my swordsman abilities."

"Guess it makes sense—I'm a world-famous swordmaster, after all!" Sora chuckled to himself.

It was true—his reputation as a "Great Swordsman" had been plastered across every newspaper headline.

No wonder Moria had come for him.

"Maybe I should go after Flower Sword Vista…"

Sora's mind quickly ran through the strongest physical and sword-type fighters in the One Piece world.

The ideal candidates would be Garp the Hero or Dracule Mihawk, the world's greatest swordsman.

Unfortunately, those two were still out of his league.

Sure, he could crush someone like Moria, the shame of the Seven Warlords. But going up against true top-tier monsters like Kaido, Garp, or Mihawk? He wasn't ready yet—his Haki and physical strength were far from peak.

Unlike Luffy, he didn't have a plot-armor party of unkillable companions. He wasn't stupid enough to rely on numbers alone.

So for now, Vista was the most realistic target.

While weighing the options of who to give the Shadow-Shadow Fruit to, Sora exited the storage room.

He made his way to the helm of Thriller Bark and pulled out a Log Pose pointing toward Sabaody Archipelago. With a twist of the wheel, he set a new course.

The war at Marineford was on the horizon.

Sora would head to Sabaody to lay low and prepare—waiting for the perfect moment to strike and maximize his gains.

Before long, Kalifa, wearing her signature black slit-skirt and thigh-high stockings, used Moonwalk to reach the helm, pushed open the window, and handed Sora a stack of papers.

"Sora, this is the full inventory of all treasure and valuables aboard Thriller Bark."

"Tch. Moria squatted in the Florian Triangle for years, and this is all he had?"

Sora scowled at the list.

Kalifa had not only cataloged every item but also estimated their value.

All told, the treasure aboard barely scraped a few hundred million Berries—less than half a billion.

"Tch tch tch… All that treasure and bounty combined still isn't worth as much as his Devil Fruit."

"Moria, you really are the shame of the Seven Warlords."
