One Piece: Demon's Extract

Chapter 79: 79

"That man… was actually killed?!"

On the execution platform, Sengoku's face twisted in utter shock. Elior — that monster — had just now slain Kaeya, the strongest member in the entire CP0 organization… a fighter with power on par with an Admiral!

"He actually managed to take down someone at Admiral level?"

Sengoku felt his heart pounding violently. The shock Elior gave him was overwhelming. If Elior could kill someone of Admiral-tier strength, that meant… if the fight between Elior and Kizaru had continued earlier, the one lying dead right now might have been Kizaru, not the CP0 agent!

And worst of all, Elior had achieved this after already fighting both Kizaru and Tsuru together, holding his own against their combined assault before killing someone at Admiral level.

That was the terrifying part!

Sengoku knew better than anyone: dealing with both Kizaru and Tsuru at once drained enormous amounts of energy — far beyond fighting any two ordinary opponents.

Elior… just how much of a monster was he?!

A complete anomaly… a freak of nature.

And now… there he stood. Aside from some torn clothes and slightly messy hair… was he injured? No. Was he even breathing heavily? Not at all!

Sengoku's body trembled.

In all his years… it wasn't that he hadn't seen men as strong as Elior before — but he had never seen someone this young with such terrifying power!

Sengoku's gaze shifted to Whitebeard. It was obvious… Whitebeard's condition wasn't great.

But Elior?

Elior looked even better off than before.

Right now, in Sengoku's mind… Elior's danger level had skyrocketed, surpassing even Whitebeard!

"What the hell did he come here for?!"

Sengoku couldn't help but wonder, his heart filled with both dread and confusion. Elior's power was now far beyond what Sengoku had imagined. Being able to kill an Admiral-tier opponent meant his combat strength was truly monstrous.

Why had Elior come to Marineford?

To rescue Fire Fist Ace?

Had he struck some kind of deal with Whitebeard? Joining forces just to free Ace?

The more Sengoku thought, the more afraid he became. One thing was clear: Elior wasn't on the Marine's side.

So… had he aligned himself with Whitebeard?

Sengoku's anxiety deepened.

"That man…"

"So… this is how strong he truly is…"

"If only I…"

At that moment, Hancock's graceful body trembled slightly. Staring at Elior, witnessing his overwhelming power firsthand, she felt herself falling even deeper under his spell.

The same Elior who had publicly executed three Celestial Dragons... now showing power beyond reason.

Handsome, unstoppable… and someone who openly stomped on the World Nobles' authority!

In Hancock's eyes… he was the only good man in the entire world.

Unconsciously, she began imagining scenes of walking into marriage with him… and soon enough, a rosy blush spread across her cheeks.

Lost in her daydream, she mentally completed her own love story.

At this point, Hancock had already fallen—hard and completely.

Elior didn't even know… but this woman had already 'convinced herself'... to the point where if Elior said one word, she'd do anything for him.

Of course… Elior remained oblivious.

If he did know, he'd probably just give her a thumbs-up.

"If this guy makes it out of Marineford alive today… he's definitely someone I need to befriend."

Doflamingo's eyes gleamed with calculation.

Compared to lunatics like Kaido, Elior actually felt like someone Doflamingo could work with.

Sure, Elior had wiped out Doflamingo's entire business on Hachinosu, but… that wasn't reason enough to pick a fight with him. Not with someone who could crush Kaido… and now had just taken out an Admiral-tier powerhouse!

Doflamingo wasn't suicidal.

Unless something crazy happened… Elior was clearly destined to become one of the next emperor of the sea. No question about it.

That CP0 member — Kaeya — Doflamingo knew his identity well. Kaeya wasn't just any agent. He was CP0's commander and strongest operative. Becoming CP0's top commander required Admiral-level combat power, at minimum.

In other words… Kaeya was Admiral-class.

And now… Elior had killed him. Without even showing signs of exhaustion!

Truly terrifying.

Meanwhile, while everyone was still reeling from the shock of Elior taking down one of the World Government's top forces… the scene played out just as Elior had ordered Weevil earlier.

Weevil might've been slow in the head — but when it came to raw power? He was terrifying.

The five remaining CP0 agents, while undeniably strong… had been forced into a tragic situation. Even though they had been dominating Weevil at first…

The tide turned fast.

Law, Hawkins, and Urouge had soon joined the battle. What had started as a 5-on-1 turned into a 5-on-4.

"Kaeya… Sir Kaeya… he's dead!"

One of the CP0 agents spoke with a trembling voice.

"Dead?! No way! Sir Kaya…"

Another CP0 operative was visibly panicked—utter disbelief written all over his face.

"Impossible… Sir Kaeya was unbeatable! A living war god of CP0! How could he die?!"

The others couldn't believe it either.

"Room… Operating Theater."

Suddenly, a translucent hemisphere appeared, trapping two CP0 agents inside.

Within seconds, both of them were sliced into several pieces—without feeling a thing.

The power of the Op-Op Fruit.

Annoying to deal with, to say the least.

After all, even powerful opponents like Smoker had fallen prey to Law's tricks — let alone CP0 agents.

Both agents now lay in pieces on the battlefield… conscious but helpless.

"Weevil!"

Hearing Law's call, the simple-minded Weevil charged over. The moment Law released the spatial lock, Weevil swung his blade down… cleaving one agent's head clean in half as if he were splitting firewood.

With Law's power keeping them alive but helpless… there was no defense.

One Admiral-class CP0 operative… finished.

The second head followed soon after — Weevil chopping it apart the same way.

"You two… really brutal when you team up like that!" Urouge laughed dryly.

Law just shrugged, "Hey… I'm a doctor."

Hawkins added, "Yeah… the world's most terrifying doctor!"

Within the next half hour, the remaining three CP0 agents were also wiped out.

Not because Law's group was overwhelmingly strong individually — Weevil alone couldn't have taken them at the start. But thanks to teamwork — and Law's uncounterable Devil Fruit abilities — it became possible.

When your enemy can dismantle your body into pieces while you stay alive and aware… there's not much you can do.

Of course, Law's ability did have limits. Against someone overwhelmingly stronger than him, it wouldn't work. But these CP0 agents… weren't strong enough to resist it.

And just like that… every CP0 agent sent to Marineford that day was wiped out by Elior's crew.

Ironically… Elior and his crew didn't even know any of their names.

"Captain just took down an Admiral-level opponent!"

Urouge was still in shock.

"According to what I heard some Marine officers saying… that guy was a top-tier force sent directly by the World Government!"

"Our captain… terrifying beyond reason."

"He's younger than us… but strength-wise, he's in another league entirely. This must be… the difference between a genius and us average folk."

"Absolutely hopeless gap…"

The whole crew felt like their understanding of Elior had been pushed to yet another level.

Urouge laughed, "Sticking with the captain… means there's always meat on the table."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Meanwhile… back on Elior's side.

After releasing the Armament Haki from Shigure, Elior casually tossed the sword back toward Tashigi in the distance. Then, standing atop the corpse of a random Marine, he took a brief moment to recover.

Killing an Admiral-level opponent wasn't something you did without some energy drain.

This was his short break.

Fortunately… no powerful Marine dared step forward to challenge him now.

After all… after what Elior had just shown… who would be foolish enough to charge at him?

At the same time, the Whitebeard Pirates began launching their next assault. Luffy, Sabo, and the others pressed forward too.

Tsuru returned to the frontlines to push back the Whitebeard Pirates' advance. Nearly all Vice Admirals were now stationed there, alongside two of Kong's top warriors and the Shichibukai, all gathered around the execution platform.

The Admirals remained outside, holding off other threats.

At that moment… Elior turned his gaze toward Sengoku.

And only then… did Elior notice that Sengoku had been staring at him the entire time.

Elior didn't know it… but Sengoku's heart was filled with fear and dread, anxious about how the tide of war had turned so drastically.

Too many surprises for one execution day.

Never… not even in his worst-case scenario planning… had Sengoku imagined it would escalate like this.

"What is his real goal…?"

Seeing Elior just standing there… not making a move… Sengoku's nerves tightened even more.

"That man…!"

Tashigi, meanwhile, picked up her sword Shigure. The hilt still felt warm.

Despite her frustration with Elior — and feeling like her sword had been 'tainted' by a criminal pirate — there was nothing she could do. Watching Elior's back as he stood there… Tashigi felt only despair.

How was the Marine ever supposed to defeat someone like him?

What even was this execution anymore?

Why had so many terrifying monsters shown up all at once?

Every new enemy felt even more hopeless than the last.

"Tashigi!"

Just then… a mature woman's voice called out.

Tashigi turned — only to see a pirate lunging at her, suddenly tangled in iron bars and hurled away.

It was Tashigi's savior — Hina!

Heroic, powerful, mature, and beautiful — she was Tashigi's idol.

"Don't let your guard down!"

Hina warned sharply, then noticed the extra sword now back in Tashigi's hand. It was the same blade that Elior had taken just moments ago… and now, somehow, it had returned to her.

"We'll just focus on dealing with the foot soldiers" Hina continued.

"That kind of existence… is far beyond what we can handle right now. What we can do… is protect the weak."

Hina's gaze also drifted toward Elior's distant figure.

A truly hopeless existence.Just moments ago… he had killed a super-strong opponent!

Even earlier, when both Tsuru and Kizaru had teamed up against him… they couldn't even manage to injure him!

Hopeless?

Let the weak despair!

And in the distance… among the chaos of battle… a certain Marine soldier stood: Koby, the once timid boy from the beginning of the series — now one of Garp's disciples.

Watching both marines and pirates fall around him… the rising pile of seemingly meaningless casualties… Koby felt himself drowning in despair.

Today's enemy… was far too powerful!

This wasn't a level of power he could even comprehend.

Boom!

Suddenly, Sentomaru, charging through the battlefield, collided with Koby, knocking him aside and making Koby both hurt and angry.

"Damn it!"

Ignoring Koby, Sentomaru got back on his feet and rushed forward again.

Swish!

With the flash of sword and shadow, Sentomaru — who had been looking to settle the score with Shiryu for taking his arm earlier — found himself struck down. A deep slash opened across his chest, blood gushing out as he was sent flying!

Just moments ago, Sentomaru had been targeting Luffy and Sabo in his fury… but now… it was clear that provoking Shiryu had been a very bad idea.

Shiryu was on a completely different level.

"Stay with the weaklings where you belong."

Shiryu grinned around the cigar clamped between his teeth, then charged toward an incoming Pacifista, cutting it down with a single devastating slash.

"I have to admit… the World Government's weapons have gotten pretty advanced" Shiryu scoffed.

"If I didn't know better, I'd think this was the real Bartholomew Kuma. And there are so many of them now… But still, with this level of performance, they're only good for dealing with small-fry pirates. Of course… if they sent hundreds of these things… well… that'd be a different story."

After finishing off the Pacifista, Shiryu turned his gaze back toward Sentomaru.

"Hey, hey… go easy on me, will ya?!"

Suddenly, yellow flashes of light burst out — Kizaru had arrived, intercepting Shiryu's next strike and easily blocking the incoming blade.

In terms of raw power, Shiryu wasn't on Kizaru's level. Even with Kizaru still nursing injuries from earlier, he had quickly tended to his wounds and could still move well enough.

"Kizaru…"

Shiryu exhaled a puff of smoke, clearly annoyed at having to deal with such a troublesome opponent.

"You pirates… Did you come all the way to Marineford just to rescue Fire Fist Ace with Whitebeard and the others?"

Shiryu sneered, "Fire Fist Ace has nothing to do with us!"

With a burst of force, Shiryu's blade shook Kizaru's leg aside. Meanwhile, Sentomaru — his chest slashed open and mirroring Kizaru's earlier wound — took advantage of the distraction to retreat quickly behind his uncle.

But… Sentomaru's injuries were far more severe than Kizaru's.

Kizaru glanced back… and froze.

Sentomaru's wound was so deep… his internal organs were clearly visible. The blood loss was massive. His face was pale as death, and cold sweat poured down his cheeks.

The sight was horrifying.

"Sentomaru… fall back for now. Uncle's got this."

Kizaru warned him firmly.

"Interesting…"

Shiryu smirked, stepping back with a lazy swagger… before lunging forward again with another sword strike toward Kizaru.

Of course… compared to Elior, Shiryu was far less pressure for Kizaru to handle.

"Since you're not here for Ace… then what are you doing here? Sightseeing?"

Kizaru frowned, his tone growing sharper, clearly fishing for any useful intel.

Shiryu answered with a dark grin:

"This… is our captain's first step towards becoming King of the World!"

Unlike his relationship with Blackbeard in the original timeline, Shiryu's loyalty to Elior was on a different level. This wasn't some shaky alliance of convenience…This was pure subordination. Full surrender.

Shiryu had bent the knee… and followed power.

"King of the world?"

Kizaru raised an eyebrow. "Such big talk… Is your captain that crazy?"

Shiryu's sword tore straight through Kizaru's body—though it passed harmlessly through his light-elemental form.

With obvious disdain, Shiryu replied,

"You should be grateful our captain didn't finish you off earlier… Otherwise, you'd be lying there dead, just like that CP0 member. That guy wasn't any weaker than you… was he?"
