One Piece : Deathless Surgeon

Chapter 21: 21- Training and Departure

"GOODBYE, LORD! We will get stronger and await your return! We promise you will not be disappointed!"

Two massive figures stood at the shore of Little Garden, waving their hands as a ship sailed away. Their booming voices echoed across the island, filled with excitement and devotion.

Beside me, Anna stared at the scene, her expression blank with confusion. "...Master, what exactly did you make them believe? They seem far too excited..."

"Nothing much," I said casually, crossing my arms. "They just think I'm the god of Elbaf. Naturally, they're thrilled to have met their deity."

Anna blinked before chuckling. "God, huh? Then I guess, as the maid of a god, I have to work extra hard so that my master never encounters any problems."

She said it jokingly, but I could see the gears turning in her head. Who knows what plans she has, even I have no clue, she's getting naughtier these days.

Unlike my original plan, we had stayed on Little Garden for about a month. It all started when Anna, watching the giants fight, suddenly turned to me and said:

"Master, this looks fun. Let's fight."

And just like that, my peaceful break was over.

---

- Flashback -

The volcano at the island's center erupted in the distance, signaling another clash between the two warrior giants. Their massive weapons, coated in an intense black Armament Haki, crashed together, shaking the very earth beneath them.

A long distance away, we stood watching—Robin, Anna, and myself. Spectating the clash while having some popcorn.

Anna's eyes practically sparkled as she watched the battle unfold. "Master, fighting like this really looks fun. Maybe we should fight too? Weren't you talking about training before? This is the perfect opportunity."

Ah yes… training.

I had mentioned I would train my swordsmanship and Haki, but—conveniently—I had forgotten all about it. Look, it is not my fault, I belong to the category of people who buy a year-long gym subscription just to go five times before ghosting the place. And the fact that I was a lazy weeb didn't help, If you think getting isekai'd magically made me the epitome of hard work, you're wrong.

What I am good at is overthinking and making great plans, and of course I am smart enough to make many of my plans come true, that is until I myself have to toil for it...

Sure, the fear of dying made me work harder somewhat, but physical training was still a pain in the ass. And honestly, considering the logic of this world, actual fights were a better way to grow than endless training.

I mean, look at Luffy.

Dude trained for two years and was still so weak that I could bitch-slap him with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back.

Then three real fights later? Now he's strong enough to beat the shit out of me.

Training is a scam.

For example, what did all that training get Zoro? Nothing. Meanwhile, Sanji got genetically enhanced and became busted.

Therefore, it is proved that genetic enhancement is the way of kings.

If you think otherwise, you're a weak peasant who can't do anything other than grind like an NPC.

Anyway.

I sighed and nodded. "Fine. Let's fight. I will be waiting for you at the centre of the island"

I teleported to the island's center, where the giants' endless battles had flattened the land into a perfect battlefield. Why teleport instead of coming with Anna? Simple. It looks cooler.

Hands in my pockets, I struck a pose and waited. After all—fights are temporary. Rizz and aura are forever.

Soon enough, the jumping bunny arrived.

"Took you long enough. I was getting bored—thought you got scared and ran away," I taunted.

"Stop joking, Master!" she huffed. "The fight has already started!"

She leapt into the air—light gathering around her foot.

Lunar Kick!

A silver glow condensed around her leg as she delivered a devastating downward strike.

The ground exploded—a massive crater 100 meters wide, 10 meters deep forming instantly. The shockwave ripped through the air, scattering debris in all directions.

But did it hit me?

Of course not.

My ROOM had already covered the entire island even before the fight started. Teleportation go brrr.

Now, since she was throwing out such ridiculous attacks, If I caused less damage than her, it would seem as if I am weaker than my maid. Can you imagine the shame if anyone sees that?

"TAKT!"

Instantly, the sky darkened as mountains, trees, and boulders suddenly appeared in the air. And then—

They started falling.

I didn't just drop them. Oh no. I released them one by one, forcing Anna to dodge continuously. Every attempt at evasion was met with another incoming attack. Every counter was overwhelmed by sheer force.

She had to uleash hundreds of kicks just now to prevent the debris from smashing and burying her.

By the time the dust cleared, Anna stood panting, her clothes torn and her body visibly exhausted. She wasn't injured, but she had used up 80% of her strength while I had only used 30% of mine.

A flawless victory.

I smirked, crossing my arms. "My, my. You don't look so good, Anna. Don't cry now—Daddy will bring you some chocolates."

Her expression twitched.

"MASTER…!" She screamed, pointing at me with shaking hands. "What the fuck was that?! I asked for a spar, and you started throwing fucking mountains at me?!"

Okay, maybe she had a point.

But admitting it would make it seem like me accepting my mistakes.

"So what?" I scoffed. "Are you scared? Men don't get scared over little things. Don't be a pussy, Anna."

She froze.

Her aura darkened.

"I. AM. NO. MAN!"

Moon Burst Impact!

With all her strength, she kicked, sending a silver shockwave tearing across the battlefield, annihilating everything in its path.

Did it hit me?

Nope.

I dodged. What did she think this was? A Shonen anime where yelling attack names makes them stronger?

And who did she think I was? Sauron? Just because she ain't no man she can hit me? Ridiculous.

Still… that kick had some spice in it.

Enough jokes. Time to end this.

Since I didn't want to actually hurt her, I wouldn't use my sword. Instead, I hardened my hands with Armament Haki—my skin turning a sleek, obsidian black.

Teleport.

I appeared behind her, grabbing her arms and pulling them behind her back.

"Time for the finisher."

Consecutive Ordinary Spanks!

I spanked her. Over. And over. First one even had Haki.

What? Did you think I would hit the back of her neck and knock her out?

Who would do something so boring?

Anna screamed, her ass turning crimson as I continued my divine punishment.

Maybe I went a bit too far?

...Nah. The maid was jumping too much—needed to be shown her place.

-Aftermath-

Despite the assault, Anna continued training with me. Miraculously.

For an entire month, we sparred seriously, pushing our limits. And the results?

My Haki skyrocketed. I couldn't use Ryuo yet, but I could now use Emission Haki, and my Observation Haki had progressed to glimpses of the future.

Yeah, that busted.

My Conqueror's Haki also grew more intense, its aura now heavy enough to crush weaker wills instantly.

As for Anna? She kept up—her potential matching mine. She even started covering her ass in Armament Haki for defense, which—unexpectedly—made her Haki stronger.

Though it did sadden me to no end, that jiggly ass turned rock hard whenever she added her haki, ruined the entire fun...
