Omnitrix Tyrant: The Strategist of Universe 7

Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Whispers in the Empire

Chapter 29: Whispers in the Empire

The dimly lit corridors of Frieza's warship pulsed with eerie silence, save for the faint hum of alien machinery. Deep in the heart of the vessel, a report was being delivered—one that would shift the empire's focus.

Dodoria's heavy footsteps echoed as he entered the chamber. Zarbon stood by the massive viewport, arms crossed, watching the distant stars. The cold light of space illuminated Frieza's throne, where the tyrant sat, his tail lazily coiled around the armrest.

"Lord Frieza," Dodoria grunted, bowing slightly. "There's been… a disturbance on Planet Vampa."

Frieza didn't turn. "A disturbance?"

Zarbon adjusted his scouter, his elegant voice carrying amusement. "A group of Saiyans—former gladiators, most likely—have begun rallying together. Training. Expanding."

Frieza's fingers tapped against his throne. A faint smile curled on his lips.

"How bold."

Dodoria snorted. "They're still insects, Lord Frieza. A few scattered warriors aren't worth worrying about."

Zarbon smirked. "That's what the Tuffles thought about the Saiyans once."

For a moment, the air in the chamber grew tense. The memory of how quickly the Saiyan race had risen to power—even under Frieza's control—was still fresh in their minds.

Frieza's crimson eyes glowed faintly. "I assume you're not just bringing me gossip, Dodoria?"

Dodoria hesitated. "There's… another detail. A strange energy signature has been detected among them."

Frieza finally turned, his expression calm but calculating. "Explain."

Zarbon adjusted his scouter, tapping it. A holographic image flickered to life—green energy, fluctuating wildly.

"It doesn't match Saiyan biology," Zarbon mused. "It's something else. Something unknown."

Frieza's fingers stopped tapping. For the first time, he looked genuinely interested.

"…Send a scouting force."

Dodoria smirked, cracking his knuckles. "Heh. I'll make sure to crush them personally."

Frieza's gaze flickered toward him. "No. We don't destroy unknown factors so recklessly."

Dodoria stiffened. "But, Lord Frieza—"

Frieza waved a hand dismissively. "I want them studied first. If they prove entertaining, then we crush them."

The order was final. The empire would move.

Vampa - Training Camp

The sun was high, its heat relentless as Ben watched the Saiyans spar. They were improving.

Sweat dripped from their bodies, bruises covered their skin, but their eyes burned with newfound purpose.

This was progress.

Caulifla cracked her knuckles, smirking as she stood across from Kale. "C'mon, sis! You're holding back again!"

Kale hesitated but nodded, lunging forward. Her movements were faster now, more controlled.

Ben nodded in approval. It was only a matter of time before she awakened.

Toren wiped blood from his lip, glancing at Ben. "You've been pushing us hard. Expecting something?"

Ben exhaled. "Yeah."

Toren frowned. "What?"

Ben's eyes darkened. "Company."

A scouter beeped. One of the Saiyans—one of the few who still had theirs—froze. His face went pale.

Ben turned toward him. "What is it?"

The Saiyan swallowed hard. "Power levels… approaching fast."

The entire camp tensed. The empire had found them.

Ben cracked his neck. "Well. That didn't take long."
