Omnipotent Husband System

Hao Ren talked with Hong Yue for a bit before she went inside the cauldron and the artifact turned into something that could be tied around the wrist of the master. However, even though Hao Ren had yet to acknowledge it as his artifact, the cauldron didn't mind it. Initially, Hao Ren was having some doubts but now it was all fine when Hong Yue assured him.

The young man opened the closed door of the office and walked out to find Sypher standing in the corridor. Hao Ren greeted the old man and said, "You must be Director Sypher. I am Hao Ren."

Sypher smiled faintly and said, "I have been long waiting to meet the young prodigy but to think it would be this soon and these circumstances. I am a little taken aback."

Hao Ren smiled and asked, "So, Director, you invited me over for the Grand Conference, is that all?"

Sypher nodded and said, "Walk with me?"

Hao Ren nodded and followed Sypher, he purposefully allowed the old man to walk a step ahead, as he loomed in the back. Sypher said, "The purpose of the Grand Conference had always been to determine that the best of the forgers could come together and inspire the others and also each other to do better."

He paused and continued, "Only one of the elder Grandmasters who have already reached the peak of their potential agrees with this idea. The rest of them just wish to hog on to power. If the Refining Council failed, than the old ghosts would step out and create some unnecessary ruckus."

The young man nodded, and said, "I can understand, they want the power and then establish an identity bigger than the Forging Council."

Sypher nodded and said, "They are all after one thing and that is the secrets hidden in the Fantasy Cauldron, so when they heard someone awakened the Samsara Hammer in the Iron Mountain City, they wanted to invite the person and handle the Cauldron."

Hao Ren frowned and asked, "So, they are aware that the Cauldron belonged to Elder Hong."

Sypher nodded and said, "I only figured that out just now. I know that I am guilty of calling you here like this, but I hope you understand that for me only the integrity of the council is important."

Hao Ren smiled and said, "You are a good man, owing your mistake and covering it with your belief. Not many are that sound minded. However, this also means that you don't wish to be on my bad side, because you have seen that Elder Hong is still capable of levelling the entire city into rubble."

Sypher nodded and said, "Yes, so, tell me what do you need, but please help us settle these old demons."

Hao Ren chuckled and said, "It would be a pleasure, can you tell me how many of them are there, and where can I find them?"

Sypher nodded, and then he gave Hao Ren all the important information, before the Young Man vanished from his position. The old director sighed and said, "The world is commanded by those in power. Forgive me young man for I am too weak. I have no other options."

Hao Ren travelled for two days and he arrived on a secluded mountain located on the north of the Cauldron City. In his mind, he could hear Hong Yue speaking, "What do you intend to achieve with this visit?"

Hao Ren smiled and said, "These people have forgotten their true path, I will guide them to a better tomorrow."

Hong Yue was surprised, she didn't take this kid to be an idealist, but here they were, and since that was the case, she would like to watch his actions, after all, if she wanted to protect him, none of the old monsters would be able to harm him."

The young man didn't climb the mountain, he stood at the foot of the mountain and waved his hand to cast a small flame cloud, before he took out some herbs and began to refine a few pills.

From what Sypher had told him, there were a dozen old people who wanted to snatch his artifact, so the young man refined a dozen of pills and Hong Yue was confused looking at his actions. She couldn't help but materialize before him and asked, "How did you find this recipe?"

Hao Ren replied calmly, "Everyone has their own opportunities, Senior."

Hong Yue sensed his calm and said, "I just hope that you don't exploit this pill recipe."

Hao Ren nodded and after refining the pills he trekked the mountain. Sypher had told him that this mountain had an earth vein under it and the magma from that vein was used to produce heat that was needed by the old people to craft high level artifacts and temper their bodies.

Reaching the top of the mountain, Hao Ren could sense a few spiritual senses wash over, him. He bowed his head and said, "Elders, I am Hao Ren, I was sent here by Director Sypher to train under your guidance as I gained the acknowledgement from the Divine Artifact, Fantasia Cauldron."

That said, he took out the Cauldron and a seal from his fingers caused the artifact to grow in size, and the next moment, twelve old men, who appeared to be walking skeletons appeared around him.

Hao Ren bowed his head and said, "Greetings Elders. Junior Hao Ren greets you."

He knew that he could not use his hypnotism skill against these people so he decided to tone down and go for a rather mellow approach. The young man was simply a fox in human skin. One of the elders gazed at the Cauldron and asked, "What happened to the spirit phantom left behind by the Refining saint?"

Hao Ren replied, "This artifact didn't have any spirit marks from the Refining Saint, Elder."

The old men narrowed their eyes and Hao Ren sensed a pressure on his shoulders and he said, "Can you swear on your dao heart?"

Hao Ren was stunned for a second and then he nodded and replied, "I swear on my Dao Heart, there was no Spirit Mark left by the refining saint on his artifact."

The old people saw the clouds thunder and then nodded, the old man asked, "What else did you get from this cauldron?"

Hao Ren took out the jade bottle and said, "Elder, this is a pill formula, I am not sure what this pill is for, but I have refined a dozen pills so that you can inspect it and guide the junior. However, the seals did hint that it might be a high level body refining pill."

The old man waved his hand and then caught the pill bottle before he casually opened the bottle and took a sniff from it. Hao Ren was not a fool, he knew that this would happen, so the main soul slave pill was hidden under the thick cover of a potent body refining recipe that he developed with Xiao Mei's help.

The old men took turns to sniff the bottle and even at the phase where they almost cannot grow stronger, they could feel their blood gushing a little. One of the elders said, "How about I try it first?"

The rest of them looked at the man, and shook their heads before they said, "We shall stay to the method we have been using all this while. Let us try it together."

They didn't care that such an action might make them look petty or greedy, they just wanted to play for power and grab onto whatever they can before they decide to kill Hao Ren and take control of the artifact for themselves.

Thinking about it, they distributed the pills and then swallowed them in one go. The pills gave them the sensation that was completely similar to a body refining pill. Their muscles twitched and followed by that their blood boiled. However, just when they thought it was a nectar. A force invaded their soul seas and it cast shackles on their bodies.

The people were shocked, and they all opened their eyes wide in shock and yelled, "How dare you!"

Hao Ren replied after clicking his tongue, "Shut up, dogs!"

His shout silenced the entire summit and the old men realized it was too late for them to make a comeback. This fox has taken control of their souls. They wanted to say something when Hao Ren said, "From now on, you all better act in a manner worthy of your station. Now, go and bring out all the treasures that you have saved all these years, and get ready for the Great Conference, after playing invigilators there, you all will go to the Crescent Moon Empire and teach the children about artifact forging."

The dozen of humbled old men bowed and said, "Yes, Master."

Hao Ren looked at them and said, "Don't call me Master before the others, get lost now."

Then he turned around and walked away, Hong Yue was shocked when she saw his actions, and mumbled, "I realize why that bastard came to acknowledge you. You are one step ahead of him in exploiting people and tricking them."

Hao Ren chuckled and said, "You compliment me too much, Elder."
