4;7 Everything goes round, full circle

Uncontrollable fear begins to take over Rayen’s body, more locked away memories from her past manifest within her mind causing her to collapse in a total panic, “oh just shut your mouth, your screeching is hurting my ears”, Negative says in agitation to the others below. Quickly everyone shifts their sights above to focus on Negative.

She then throws her body down from the ledge and lands in the hall perfectly with a loud thud. “You again!? Just what do you think you’re doing here”, Sigma yells out in anger as he dashes towards her and winds up a punch. Negative gives only a slight glance over to him and with the flick of a finger, flings him out of the way with a powerful spatial burst. The force of the blow slams Sigma into a nearby wall, the bricks around him crack under the impact.

"God damn it, why can't I ever hit you?!", Sigma yells in frustration. Ruby and Sapphire both attempt to fight off Negative, but they're both warded off as easy as Sigma, "you in the center, freeze", Negative says with a monotone voice to Ali. She quickly jumps back from Negative's intimidation, but without warning she sends a small, focused beam of plasma right through Ali's chest, "I said freeze, do mortals listen to anything at all?", Negative asks while Ali tumbles to the ground, holding her blood gushing chest in total shock.

Neon's face is flushed over a complete rage as she rushes her way in front of everyone else, a total look of terror covering each and everyone of their faces, "Ali!! You bastard, why her?! She did nothing to you!", Neon yells out at Negative. Neon collapses to the ground in disbelief, "how could it just end like this, so many years just taken away in the blink of an eye, AAAAAHHHHHHH!!", She screams while charging at Negative.

The pair clashed their swords in the center of the hall with such impressive force that the entire floor shakes, "how cute, you might actually be a challenge for me, who would have thought a mortal would actually match me", Negative says with a chuckle.

Holly rushes over to Ali, her mind overflowing with feelings of immense dread, "Ali, please tell me you're ok, you have to be! I'll make you better, I promise I will", Holly cries out while trying as much as she can to heal her. The harder she tries the more tears her tears continue to stream down her face. Holly's hands are suddenly pulled away by Sapphire, "what are you doing?! Do you want her to die?!", Holly shouts in a rageful grief.

Sapphire gently holds her hands and gazes into Holly's eyes, "I wish we could do something, but I'm afraid with her mortal wounds there's nothing we can do", Sapphire somberly says while overlooking Ali. Holly takes a hold of Ali's hand as she watches Ali's eyes slowly drift to meet hers, "don't worry, I'll stay here with you Ali," Holly says with a smile as her tears continue to fall.

With a strong forceful kick Negative is flung up in the air through the wall of the castle, Negative jerks her head forward while using a spatial burst to fling her forward, recovering from the force of the blow. Her sword slices across the air as she aims for Neon,“blazing inferno!” Neon shouts out while creating a massing fireball in the air. The ball completely incases Negative within its fiery fury, within the ball she slowly raises her hand up and swirls the space all around her body, causing the fire to quickly dissipate, “are you really calling this kind of power the Rose Complex? How pathetic”, Negative says while holding her hand out.

Neon can feel herself being pulled back, but not by wind but from her body itself. With a large push into the air Neon is flung into the floor with impressive force causing a small crater to implode around her, the impact leaves Neon dazed but only for a moment as she quickly jumps back to her feet, “how impressive, you’ve managed to find a way to protect those fragile bones of yours. Why yes the Rose Complex really is a jack of all trades”, Negative says while squaring up with Neon.

Sigma brushes himself off on the ground from his impact, “um hey, you-you feeling okay? You took quite the hit there”, Crystal quietly asks Sigma while kneeling next to him, “It’s just a scratch, many others here have sadly had it way worse”, Sigma says in remorse as he looks over to Ali.

Crystal’s eyes follow his own gaze and then drifts back to looking at him, “I-I just wish I could do something more than to just sit around, I feel so useless!”, she says in frustration desperately trying to hold back her tears. Sigma gently takes hold of her hand, “don’t beat yourself up like that, we’ll get through this and I’ll help you get stronger”, Sigma says with a calm smile as he props himself back up. A strong sense of wonderment washes over Crystal as she watches Sigma confidently approaches Negative and Neon as Crystal has a soft growing smile.

Upon Blue witnessing the ensuing chaos he begins to have a feeling of immense guilt, his eyes whirl all around, from Neon being continuously beat down by Negative to Holly’s tragic encounter with Ali and a glance over to Rayen who is still overwhelmed by shock. He stands in the center of the room confused and frustrated, “Blue, I need you to Crystal and Holly back to the castle right now, it’s not safe for them here and we still need to fend Negative off. I’m at least with you three gone we can focus on guarding Rayen”, Ruby says to Blue while holding his shoulder.

“I’m sorry for the pain I caused everyone, I know it’s my fault for being stupid”, Blue quietly says while hanging his head down. Ruby tightens her grip while she stares sternly into his eyes, “don’t worry about it, you couldn’t control any of this. The most important thing to do is to get to safety, alright?”, she confidently says before patting his back, “yeah.. I got it”, Blue replies with a small grin.

Neon collapses to the ground, her nose dripping blood from the continuous blows she’s taken. With all her strength she manages to make it back to her feet, “You really are quite an impressive mortal, anyone else would have been nothing but a bloody pulp on the ground, but still, you stand in my way of getting Rayen. I’ll stop at nothing to get you out of the way!”, Negative ominously says while overlooking Neon’s beaten and bruised body.

Negative tightly clenches her fist as she nears Neon and charges towards her in a flash of light, Neon clenches her body for the impact only to find Sigma in front of her, “you’re not gonna catch me off guard this time, I’ll get you back for what you’ve done to Ali!”, He shouts out before firing a large plasma beam from his hand causing Negative to jump back from the two. Neon looks at Sigma with a glare of complete shock, “how did you learn plasma already?!”, Neon shouts out to Sigma with frustration, “oh yeah, Xenon taught me how to do it pretty soon after I became her apprentice, um what’s wrong? Did she never teach you?”, Sigma asks her jokingly with his expression quickly changing from her stern stare.

“Ummm she didn’t did she?”, Sigma nervously adds. Neon’s face recoils into further anger as she looks at Sigma, “I don’t really care anymore, just make sure to look out behind you”, she says while focusing her energy, “huh, what do you mean?”, Sigma asks as Negative rushes up to him. Right before her attack lands Sigma holds his hand out to perfectly block it, “now you see Neon, I know what’s going on, this girl even seems like a pushover to me”, Sigma says with a big grin on his face.

With her aggravation building up Negative focuses her power, her eyes glow a bright red before using another large spatial burst causing them both to be blown away across the rundown gardens of the castle, “damn I hate that attack so much, I don’t even know how that can be countered”, Sigma says while hanging down from an overgrown bush, Negative approaches him once again with lightning speed as he blocks another powerful punch from her, “well if you want me to go all out then I will”, He says with a cocky smile before jumping back to his feet.

Negative launches herself towards him once again while Sigma learns of his mistakes blocking all her punches and dodging her spatial burts as their blows exchange with further and further intensity. With a quick finesse Negative flicks her sword out from its sheath causing a very near miss strike on Sigma. He can hear the whirl of blade, the razor sharp edge glides across his ear as his head jerks away, “whoa now, we never agreed on any weapons, but if you insist”, Sigma happily says while pulling out his own sword.

With an air of caution Blue slowly approaches Holly who’s still completely devastated from her loss, he slowly kneels down next to her and gently brushes her hand against her leg, “I’m sorry for everything I caused Holly, but we have to go”, he says while holding his hand out. After a few seconds Holly lifts her head up to meet Blue’s gaze, “but-but what about the others? Wouldn’t then need us?”, Holly says as she looks back onto Ali, “don’t worry, I’m sure they have this under control and we’ll be back to normal in no time, come on let’s go”, Blue says with a soft smile.

Through the duel each blow has seemed to feel heavier and heavier to Sigma as his energy wears out from Negative’s relentless onslaught of attacks, “what happened to that cocky attitude you had just a few minutes ago? It seems that mortals are just way too limited when it comes to endurance, it’s a shame that you’re all used up when I’m just getting started!”, Negative shouts before wiping him clear across the yard again. Sigma digs his fingers into the ground as he drags himself back up his feet and wipes off the sweat from his brow.

“Hell, I heard the legends from Xenon but I never expected a god could be just this impressive”, Sigma says to himself while catching her breath, “well if you think I’m impressive then you should see the others, I’m really a nobody compared to them”, Negative quietly says while slowly raising her sword into the air. With a large slash she brings her blade down to Sigma, a large clink between the clashing of blades is heard as Sigma closes his eyes.

Sigma slowly opens his eyes to find Ruby and Sapphire guarding Negative’s sword from striking him down, “even more of you?! Well fine I guess I’m going to be stretching my legs even more today than usual”, Negative says before jumping back to recover.

Crystal stares at the four outside fighting, each sword blow makes her even more mad than the last, “Crystal, Crystal wait”, Blue yells out to her as she ignores him to run towards the fight. He chases after her in frustration, his only thought being the possibility of her being harmed.

“Damn it, why are you always so stubbery Crystal”, Blue says to himself as he gains on her before he’s suddenly grabbed by Rayen, her powerful grip catches him off guard. As he looks at her he can see a bright red glow in her eyes, “please don’t go. I can’t let you fight her, I just can’t”, she quietly says to Blue with her grip getting even tighter, She looks over to him with tears streaming down her face, “ can’t let her hurt you like she did to me” She once again elaborates.

A dark aura begins to swirl around Negative as she stares down her four attackers, her eyes glow a brilliant mix of yellow sparkled in red, “okay, come at me. I’ve gotten bored”, Negative says to the group with a serious stern expression.

Without any warning she launches her relentless assault. Breaking right through guards with ease and blowing everyone away with a barrage of spatial bursts causing them to crash into various sections of the castle. Neon snaps out of a daze to find everyone scattered across the grounds. Their limbs can hardly be seen sticking out of the craters made by their impacts, Negative slowly approaches Neon with an ominous glare of rage on her face. She sends one final spatial burst into Neon’s chest, launching her back into the castle’s main hall. With all the injures Neon’s tries with all her might to push herself back to her feet, withstanding the pain of multiple bokeh bones and torn muscles but it just ends up to be too much to bear.

“What a shame, you call yourself one of the strongest in the world and you didn’t even make me break a sweat. I should just put you out of misery”, Negative says before sending a lethal blow onto Neon, “STOP!!”, Crystal screams out at the top of her lungs. Negative freezes her swing just inches away from Neon’s face, “well well it looks like we have a new challenger”, Negative calmly says as she walks towards her.

Crystals shoots up a quick guard nervous stance with her sword after being caught off guard by Negative, “I don’t care who I am to you, you've harmed so many of my friends and scarred the lives of even more than that, I want to - ahhh", Crystal says before getting sliced by Negative in a split second. Crystal collapses to the ground holding her stomach, her blood pours uncontrollably onto the ground.

The deep and wide gash burns at such a painful unnatural degree that her wound is permanently left open, "it's time for you to stop talking, I've had quite enough of your annoying voice", Negative says to Crystal before changing her pace, walking over to Rayen. She leans down to meet her face to face, Rayen trembles in fear as she hears the razor edge of Negative's scrape against the stone,

"How is my favorite little goddess doing? Does seeing all this hurt you? It would be such a shame if you were to let out all that emotion", Negative quietly says to Rayen while patting her shoulder with a gentle tapping of her fingers as she lifts her hand off.

The gradual fading of Crystal’s life can be seen from within her eyes as they dart across the room, both Holly and Blue rush over to her aid. With all her might Holly desperately tries to seal Crystal’s deep wound but the damage has already been done, “why why why why WHY!!?? Nothing is working!”, Holly shouts out before collapsing onto her hands blooded from Crystal’s wound, “please don’t go”, she continues as her voice cracks up into an inaudible squeak as her body freezes up as the uncontrollable feeling of shock resonates through her body.

Blue drops to his knees aside from Holly, his hopes and dreams shattered the instant the sword entered Crystal’s gut. Her near limp head rested softly atop of Blue’s lap, “Is that you Blue, you could say I messed up a little, hehe- ow”, Crystal whispers with a soft fading voice as their hands grasp each other.

The pain from Crystal’s stomach starts to numb as she fades further away, “you’ve always meant so much to me, someone to fight for and protect. I.. I just wish I could have done more for you”, Blue says over his shaking breath, his hands begin to freeze over as his emotions flow into a swirl of rage and misery. Crystal takes one last glance up to his eyes, “thank you for being there when I needed it the most, if only I could have returned the favor”, Crystal says before closing her eyes, her grip falters as she falls limp on his lap.

Gently her head is brought down onto the ground as cold winds sweep in through the collapsed castle, “run away Holly”, Blue says quietly, “but I can’t-”, Holly says back to him in desperation, “just go! PLEASE!! I can’t stand seeing you hurt too!”, he shouts out to her as a furious snowstorm blows around in a flurry of icy flakes. Holly runs off as fast as she can, outside of the castle and into the distant fields, all of which are already covered in snow.

“It’s about time you finished your droning”, Negative says with a quirky smile, “shut up, SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!!”, Blue yells out as the storm around him becomes more furious by the second. A vast swirl of snow twirls around in the air and down onto Blue, he charges out of the vortex towards Negative and winds up the strongest punch he can muster, but with just a single raise of her hand Blue’s fist is grabbed, “how cute, a soft punch topped with a flourish of snow and ice” Negative says in a sinister tone as she crushes his fist.

Negative holds her other hand out to charge up another spatial burst and presses up tightly against Blue’s stomach, “why are you doing this to us”, Blue quietly asks in the brief, eerie silence. As the thunderous impact shatters the ground around the two as blue is sent flying across the main hall.

Rayen can only look on in terror as Negative slowly makes her way over to blue, his ribs are completely shattered into pieces, a pain so intense that he can’t even move, Blue locks eyes with Rayen as Negative raises her sword up in the air above him, “wouldn’t you like yo know”, Negative says as the blade flies down and strikes him right through his back, severing his nerves instantly.

Negative looks down on Blue who lies motionless on the ground, “how unfortunate, sometimes I forget just how weak you mortals are”, Negative disappointingly says as she yanks her sword out of his back. The ground around Rayen begins to rumble as she falls into complete emotional anguish, the swirl of space around her is so powerful that it pushes Negative back with only it’s force alone. Rayen curls up from the anger and confusion as the space condenses around her, she tenses up as her eye glows a bright red and the spatial burst is released causing the entire castle to be destroyed in a large pressure explosion.

Negative stares on in amazement, “how incredible, I never expected this kind of power out of her”, she says while stepping back from Rayen. The winds around Rayen continue to blow with ever increasing speeds as her other eye suddenly glows with a brilliant light golden glow, and within a flash of light Rayen finds herself inside a seemingly endless void.

Slowly Rayen opens her eyes back up to find a mysterious figure standing in front of her, “who are you? Where are my friends?”, Rayen asks the figure. The figure is covered completely in a bright light from head to toe whose shine is so powerful that all of their physical features are blocked out except for the outline of a woman.

The figure moves closer to Rayen almost as if it’s inspecting her, “you can call me a type of guardian angel, am I good or bad? That is for you to decide, I have not brought you here but merely guided you through your travel towards your fated destiny”, the figure says in a calm, heavenly femanine voice. Rayen looks back to the figure with a troubled face, “but I want to go back! Please!”, she says as she pleads with all her heart, “I’m sorry but that path isn’t an option anymore, that time isn’t for you. Now go on and better yourself for the many challenges you have ahead”, the figure says while patting her on the head as she’s blinded yet again by another intense light.
