Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Seeing the young ninjas, Temari quickly recognized them.

"Naruto Uzumaki, son of the Fourth Hokage; Sasuke Uchiha, brother of Konoha's Military Police Vice-Captain; and Yota, adopted by the Konoha Research Institute's Vice-Director."

Temari understood Kankurō's plan.

These three were famous Konoha genin participating in the exams and top contenders. Kankurō wanted to test their strength.

The Fourth Kazekage's mission was confidential, not shared with the unstable Gaara or immature Kankurō. Kankurō believed the goal was winning, unaware of the higher-ups' plan.

Kankurō smirked at Naruto, "You're a Konoha genin? Even a runt like you is a ninja? Konoha's really desperate."

Naruto, initially confused, looked at Sasuke and Yota, realizing he was the shortest.

"You bastard! I'll show you!"

Naruto roared, punching Kankurō.

Naruto's taijutsu was solid; he quickly overpowered Kankurō.

"Naruto-nii-sama is cool!"

"Naruto-nii-sama is awesome!"

"Naruto-nii-sama, go!"

Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon cheered.

"If Sakura saw this…"

Naruto felt smug, a somewhat creepy smile on his face. This wasn't malicious; it was the goofy look boys get when thinking of their crushes.

"Sakura, look! Someone's fighting! It's Naruto!"

Ino, shopping with Sakura, spotted the fight and ran over. Naruto noticed Sakura.

He decided to show off a new jutsu!

Kicking Kankurō back, Naruto took out a kunai with Flying Thunder God seals.

"Hey, big guy, you're not bad, but you're no match for me! Witness Konoha's strongest jutsu: Flying Thunder God Technique!"

Naruto smirked, striking a pose.

Everyone became serious, anticipating the jutsu.

The "Yellow Flash" was legendary, thanks to the Flying Thunder God Technique. Minato Namikaze was known as the fastest ninja!

"He's hiding something! Is he planning to use this in the individual matches? Why reveal it now?"

Sasuke asked Yota, confused.

Yota shrugged, "Maybe he forgot to tell us?"

The atmosphere was tense. Everyone watched Naruto, eager to see the Flying Thunder God Technique. Even Temari, who wanted to stop the fight, paused.

"Watch out!"

Naruto threw the kunai at Kankurō and formed hand seals.

Kankurō blocked, sending the kunai high into the air. He used considerable force, sending it dozens of meters high.

"Naruto Flash!"

Naruto, still unskilled, finished his seals too late.

Naruto disappeared and reappeared dozens of meters in the air. The jutsu worked, but he was in trouble.

Silence fell.

"Help! Save me!!!"

Naruto cried, falling from the sky, tears streaming down his face.

Sasuke facepalmed, "That idiot! Yota, your turn."

Yota shook his head, about to use wind release to save Naruto, when Naruto vanished.

Naruto was lifted into the air by a Konoha Military Police officer—Izumi.

She had a neat ponytail, beautiful features, and a katana.

"Izumi-neesan, thank you! Put me down."

Naruto was mortified, especially seeing Sakura and Ino giggling.

Maybe I should be a comedian,

he thought, seeing Sakura's smile.

"That's Uchiha Izumi, who surpasses Shisui's Body Flicker Technique? Her speed is incredible. I couldn't react."

"She could kill me with one move."

Seeing Izumi and thinking of Konoha's other strong ninjas, Temari felt hopeless about Sunagakure's plan.

Temari smiled and apologized, saying it was a misunderstanding.

Izumi calmly warned Temari and Kankurō to contact the Military Police for any problems. Fighting would result in disqualification.

"I'll let this slide. Cause more trouble, and I'll lock you up before the exams!"

"There's a rapping maniac in the prison; he's driven guards crazy. Next time, you'll be his cellmate."

Izumi threatened them.

Sasuke and Yota didn't dare respond; Naruto mumbled, "They started it!"

Izumi glared, silencing him.

Kankurō's expression darkened. Naruto's strength was alarming. Sasuke and Yota were likely just as strong.

"Konoha's genin are strong! This will be a tough exam," Kankurō frowned.

Temari sighed, "Konoha is tough!"

Only she knew her sigh wasn't about the exams.
