One after another, small groups of cloud nin broke rank, fleeing the battlefield. The panic spread like wildfire—soon, the retreat was a tide of black dots, swarming out of the combat zone like ants scattering from a collapsing anthill.

The famed cohesion of Kumogakure's forces disintegrated in the face of overwhelming strength.

High atop the golden Buddha, Haneda stood with his arms crossed, gazing down at the chaos below.

The Fourth Raikage had managed to climb nearly to the Buddha's head.

Haneda chuckled as he noticed the tension in the Raikage's posture.

"Without your so-called strongest Raikage, your village amounts to nothing," Haneda said flatly.

The Raikage roared in defiance, launching a powerful punch.

But Haneda's body erupted with a forest of bone spikes.

"Shikotsumyaku: Standard Defense."

The Raikage's fist connected with the bones, shattering several of them, but at a heavy cost—his hand was left mangled and bleeding.

"You hit hard," Haneda commented, unimpressed. "But you're still far too weak."

Lightning crackled to life around Haneda as he activated his Lightning Release Chakra Mode. Combined with the Eighth Gate of the Eight Gates Formation, his speed and power were overwhelming.

"Lariat!"

Haneda's strike sent the Raikage flying off the Buddha, his body crashing to the ground with a sickening thud. Blood sprayed into the air, evaporating as it hit the golden construct.

"Too weak," Haneda said again, his voice brimming with disdain. "Even weaker than your Jinchūriki."

The golden Buddha lowered one massive hand, plucking up the unconscious Raikage like a rag doll.

With Killer Bee, Yugito, and the Raikage all captured, Haneda began to walk toward the Hokki Mountain Range, dragging his prisoners behind him.

His voice echoed across the battlefield:

"The war between Konoha and Kumogakure ends today. This is a total victory for Konoha!"

"Let this serve as a warning: any who dare provoke Konoha will meet the same fate—no matter who or where they are."

Atop the mountain, a lone Uchiha warrior raised his fist and shouted:
