Naruto: Uchiha to a new world!

Night in a new world went peacefully for the clan. As everyone got some much-needed rest, myself included. Unfortunately, it didn't last long as I felt someone repeatedly tapping my shoulder.

It was easy to notice that whoever it was they were anxious and simply couldn't wait. Most of the clan should be fine at this point with me having answered everyone's questions to the best of my ability… Wait there was one person who was asleep throughout all of it. 

Sighing to myself I completely forgot that I had basically kidnapped a kid along the way. One who was destined to be emo and edgy.

Opening my eyes the first thing I saw was a 7 year old boy fumbling in place. His expression looked anxious and stricken with worry Asclepius chef his fists on the bottom of his shirt. His eyes were also red clearly from crying.

Looking around I met the eyes of several other Uchiha who immediately turned away from me. Based on this I understood what had happened.

Looks like they told him about our situation and about Itachi's betrayal and by the look of it he doesn't seem to completely believe it. I can understand why, I did take him before he got to see his parents bodies. All he saw was dead Uchiha before suddenly being knocked out.

"Sasuke, good morning"

"Ah um good morning" Sasuke replied with an unsure expression as his mouth closed and opened several times.

"You seem to have something on your mind Sasuke. It's okay to share it"

Sasuke nodded in reply before taking a deep breath.

"Is it true that Itachi betrayed our clan… and killed my parents" His eyes shook at that last comment as tears threatened to pour out from the corners.

Sighing I knew this was gonna be a tough pill to swallow for him and he probably wouldn't fully believe me even if I did say it. So I did something that could be considered harsh.

Revealing my Sharingan I cast a Genjutsu and showed Sasuke the bodies of his parents. Having visited their bodies to take their eyes I had a clear memory of what the scene looked like.

After a couple moments Sasuke's glazed eyes cleared up but in its place remained two single Tomoe Sharingan. From that point on Sasuke fell to his knees crying.

I knew this was pretty harsh to do to a child but I had several reasons for it. First and foremost I wanted to awaken his Sharingan. Sasuke growing stronger was our clan growing stronger and in an unknown world like this every bit of strength was appreciated. 

Secondly, I wanted to show Sasuke that I wouldn't hide things from him. The poor kid already suffered enough in the anime from people lying to him his whole life. I had no intention of doing that to him in this one.

Besides him, seeing his parents die once is a much better outcome compared to what Itachi did to him. Come on? 518,000 times! There are many reasons why I really don't like my cousin Itachi and that's one of them. I understand trying to make Sasuke stronger but that was complete overkill.

Picking up Sasuke I just held him in place as he let it all out. At some point he eventually knocked out again.

"Now what do I do with him…" I was never a kid type of guy. So this was completely new to me. Thankfully someone seemed to notice my predicament.

"Don't worry I can take him" Izumi said as she reached for Sasuke. Giving her a grateful nod I lightly handed him over so he wouldn't wake up.

"Thanks"

"No worries, I still see Sasuke as a little brother. No matter what happened. In the end, he was also hurt by the same man" Izumi said this in a sad tone before walking away.

Good to see that she's letting him go and trying to move on. It's gonna take her a while but she's going in the right direction.

Speaking of moving in the right direction I also need to figure out what kind of place this is and move the clan somewhere guaranteed to be safe. Looking around I found that most of the active Shinobi were already gathered together having a conversation.

Making my way over I began hearing some of what they were talking about.

"This truly is another world. Have any of you noticed it? The animals here barely carry any chakra" Haro said as he lifted up a squirrel he caught.

"You're right, even as a sensor I can barely feel its presence" Tatsumi added as he took the squirrel from Haro.

"That is odd" Hearing my voice everyone straightened up and began acting differently. The trio who tried to pressure me the day before actually took it a step further and lowered their postures a bit. Which was uncharacteristic of Uchiha.

"Touma… ugh we're sorry for how we acted yesterday" said Tatsumi while the two others followed his lead.

"Yeah, the situation was just too much at the time."

"Yeah I hope this can be set behind us if possible"

Ah, so that's why they are acting like this. It isn't official right now with our situation being a bit dangerous but I'm basically already guaranteed to be the next clan head. So they were worried that I might see them in a bad way and hold it against them. It's best to clear this up. I don't need my clan members feeling like they are stepping on glass around me.

"No worries, I understand that everyone was anxious after what happened. You all just wanted to protect our family and I admire that. But I'm curious, can you share with me anything else you have all found out about this place" The three smiled at me, seeing it was water under the bridge.

"Kazuma found something" Haro replied while bringing out a boy barely old enough to be a Genin.

"Ugh sir I did find something last night. I went off to scout around like everyone else and noticed something bright in the west. At first, I thought that it might've been a fire but when I got closer I saw what looked like a large city. Except it was larger than any city I've ever seen before and that includes the fire capital! Not just that but there were even buildings that touched the sky"

"Sorry Touma, I think he went on a bit of a tangent there. I really doubt that any building that tall exists" Everyone else seemed to agree with this opinion, figuring it was impossible to build that high, however, I was not everyone.

Buildings that touch the sky for the people of Naruto such architecture must be impossible but I know it is possible. Back in my original world skyscrapers were common in major cities but that was back in that world. Could this be the same place? Is this earth?

I wasn't sure but I was beginning to feel anxious. I needed to find out and most of all I needed to be cautious. This was still an unknown land after all.

"No Kazuma may be right, remember everyone this is a new world so things that we may say are impossible may very well be possible here. The only way we're gonna find out is if we check it out for ourselves and we can't leave the clan unprotected. So only I and two others will come" Without even needing to ask two clan members stepped forward.

"Thank you Shinji and Tatsumi. Everyone else make sure the clan is safe" With those orders set we took off heading in the direction Kazuma had pointed out.

Not long after, the scouting party left Sasuke suddenly woke up. Reaching up he began rubbing his eyes, wiping off the tears that dried up.

"Mom dad… I promise I'll avenge you. I'll make Itachi pay for what he did" With this new resolve Sasuke steeled his emotions and began looking for Touma. If there was anyone here who could train him to beat Itachi then it would be him.

From what the others told him Touma had awoken eyes that belonged to Madara Uchiha. Sasuke still didn't understand what this meant. He only knew about the standard tomoes of the Sharingan but whatever this Mangekyo was one thing was clear. It was strong, enough for everyone in the clan to respect Touma. Some even said he might be stronger than Itachi and that's all he needed to hear.

"Ah Sasuke you are up"

"Izumi! Can you tell me where Touma is?"

"Ah, he just left with a scouting party. They say that they found a city nearby"

A city? Sasuke instantly forgot about asking Touma to train him and instead became interested in this new city. As a child, it was hard for Sasuke to not be interested in this new world. It was something he couldn't even imagine before.

"Can we go to?"

"Sorry Sasuke but they still need to see if this place is safe"

Sasuke begrudgingly accepted. This was an important mission after all just like the ones Itachi used to take all the time. Right after he thought about his brother Sasuke soon began experiencing all his complicated emotions again.

Izumi seeing this lightly ruffled his hair. "Come on how about you help the rest of us make this place more liveable"

"I can do that"
