Chapter 1: Chapter 1 The Uchiha Massacre
Konohagakure
The moon had risen above the Uchiha District illuminating one of the shinobi world's greatest clans. The Uchiha carried a long history dating all the way back to the Sage of Six Paths and bore the Sharingan as proof of their heritage. Yet unknown to the world such a great clan was being snuffed out.
Blood stained the stone-paved streets while several bodies littered humble homes. Their faces frozen in shock unaware of how they even died. They never saw it coming… Well, all except for one Uchiha.
Far away at the edge of the clan's lands, Touma watched his clan fall with his Sharingan spinning in full fury.
"That fool still went ahead and did it!"
I had recently regained my past life's memories several months ago. At first, I was happy that I was even getting a second chance at life but that joy was short-lived.
The clan I found myself in was doomed to fall for a multitude of reasons: Danzo's greed, Hiruzen's many failures, his clan's own faults, and black zetsu's manipulations in weakening shinobi. Yet I couldn't give up on them.
I may have the memories of a young man from another world but I was still 100% Touma a Uchiha! I truly loved my clan and it was this love that drove me to do whatever I could.
From using my position as Itachi's older cousin to try and teach him that the Hokage wasn't the village. Debating the will of fire with Shisui to even helping random villagers. Just so I could uplift the clan's image even slightly. Yet none of it worked.
Itachi saw me as someone radical. Shisui understood some of my points but the stubborn fool still went and died. The village despite my actions still treated me coldly and with contempt. To make things worse the rest of the clan even began treating me like a traitor for helping villagers.
In the end, everything I did was meaningless and the proof was right before my eyes. Itachi was still deceived and chose to destroy the clan. The plot was continuing like normal, I had no effect. I was too weak to stop it and my uncle Fugaku was the only man in the clan that could stop it. Yet he simply gave up because he was unwilling to fight his son.
At that very moment, all of the complicated emotions I'd been holding back finally broke through and rose up. My vision began to blur as the tomoe spun faster and faster. A searing pain shot through my skull, as if my eyes were lit on fire.
These sensations overwhelmed me to the point of falling to my knees. Fortunately, this feeling was only temporary as it eventually left leaving my eyesight clear, clearer than they ever had been before.
Noticing this change I opened my eyes wide in shock. I was no fool and knew what had just happened. Quickly pulling out my tanto I stared at my eyes specifically at the new pattern they now carried. A black circle in the center surrounded by tiny black triangles, perfectly symmetrical and radiating an eerie power.
The Mangekyou Sharingan… and it seemed like the abilities they carried were quite impressive.
"To think it took watching most of my clan die to get this power" I said in a bitter tone. It's not like I hadn't tried awakening the eyes before but all my previous attempts failed. Even my most drastic ones! But there was no point complaining about it now.
My clan needed me. It may be too late to save everyone but I could still save some. This might have sounded like a dumb idea considering I'd just awakened these eyes but I had a plan. Quickly doing hand signs I used the most reliable Jutsu for the task.
Shadow Clone Jutsu!
Instantly 5 clones appeared looking exactly like me. Soft messy black hair, smooth white skin, and sharp features common in the clan. All in all your typical good-looking Uchiha but this wasn't the time to brag.
"You know what to do" Nodding at my comment my clone's body flickered away In various directions. With that handled I also followed suit and went straight to the houses closest to mine. Itachi and Obito were still at the halfway point so not everyone had died yet.

In the largest house of the Uchiha compound Fugaku and his wife Mikoto kneeled with their backs turned to Itachi. They had accepted their fates not wanting to fight to the death with their child.
"This is the path you've chosen. Do not fear it, compared to you our pain will be over in an instant." Fugaku spoke as Itachi's grip on his blade shook.
Surprisingly they were not worried about their own fates or that of their clan. Instead, they only thought of their sons. Itachi and the pain he'd have to carry for the rest of his life. Lastly, their son Sasuke…
"We are still proud of you, Itachi. Just promise us you will always protect Sasuke"
At this point, Itachi couldn't stop the tears falling from his eyes. He could barely mutter a reply.
"I promise"
Lifting his blade, Itachi slashed down with his full resolve instantly killing the man and woman who had raised him. Itachi knew that from this point on he couldn't be redeemed but there was no turning back he needed to continue.
"Sasuke I still need to find him" He should have arrived by now but strangely he had yet to come by.
Activating his Sharingan Itachi began scanning the compound looking for Sasuke's Chakra signature. Not long after he found where he was but it seemed like getting his brother was going to be a troublesome task.
Sasuke seemed to be heading towards many other Chakra signatures. There were at least sixty in total and they all seemed to be Uchiha members. Looks like he had taken too long if the remaining clan members had time to gather like this.
Still, it didn't matter if anything this might be better. Maybe if Sasuke watched him kill the clan members it may help him awaken his Sharingan early. With that idea in mind, Itachi quickly left the area.
.
.
.
Sixty three… that was all I was able to gather. A clan boasting over five hundred members had dwindled to just this. It was horrible but it was still better than what was left in the original series.
"Touma this is everyone, we tried going further in but all we found were bodies. What do we do now" Shinji an Uchiha chunin asked with worry evident on his face. The same expression was carried amongst all the survivors. Most of them barely believed me when I told them of Itachi's betrayal but the bodies were more than enough proof.
"Continue waiting, everything's almost ready." and right on queue four of my shadow clones arrived each carrying loads of storage scrolls. Some carried basic supplies like food and medicine. While others carried our clans, Jutsu's, and weapons that had been prepared for the coup.
The fourth clone however also had some extra cargo, a small knocked-out boy. Aka my insurance, Sasuke. As long as I had him then it would be much harder for Itachi to touch me and speak of the devil here he comes.
Itachi gracefully landed on top of a nearby roof while gazing down at everyone with his Sharingan scanning the crowd. His gaze seemed to frighten everyone present as they stepped back. Only I remained confident up front as I took Sasuke from my clone's arms and without hesitation I placed a Kunai at his throat.
The reaction was practically instant as Itachi's eyes changed into the Mangekyou but I wasn't one to be left behind. My eyes quickly spun and changed into the Mangekyou pattern as well. The two legendary eyes met and clashed as yin chakra met yin chakra.
This was risky considering my eyes abilities were not Genjutsu but he didn't know this and I needed to buy time. I was still missing one last clone and his cargo was more important than all the scrolls combined.
"Touma so you too have these eyes… but it won't matter the Uchihas fate is already sealed. My mother and father are already dead before this night ends. Everyone here will die." Itachi spoke in an uncaring tone, ignoring his brother. Making it seem like he didn't care about his own family's lives. His bluff could have easily worked on anyone but as someone who watched the show I already knew.
"Fate I don't care about such a thing and I especially won't take that from someone who is capable of killing their own flesh and blood. You are a failure Itachi. You couldn't even keep the ideals that Shisui instilled in you" I tried to to keep him talking to buy
Itachi's gaze sharpened as he pulled out his tanto. He already knew he failed Shisui; he didn't need to hear this from Touma. Instead, he was more worried about Sasuke but luckily his help had arrived. With him taking care of Touma and the rest should be simple.
Beside him on the rooftop, a man with a spiral mask appeared covered in blood. "You couldn't even deal with such a pitiful group, Itachi. You are disappointing me"
"The rest are easy to deal with. The only one who poses a real threat is Touma"
"Ahh he possesses the mangekyo. What nice eyes" Obito's gaze deepened on Touma, already planning to take the eyes for himself.
Looking at the two I couldn't help but curse wondering what was taking my last clone so long. The situation was getting increasingly dangerous but my patience paid off as my last clone arrived. In his hands was one single scroll carrying multiple Sharingan from the Uchiha Itachi killed along with his fathers Mangekyo.
Obito and Itachi watched the scroll with some curiosity, clearly wondering what was in it but I wasn't some villain who would explain their whole plan. Besides, with my clone back there was nothing left stopping me.
Smirking at the duo, my left eye began to rapidly spin. The two immediately went on guard unsure of what kind of power my eyes had. Unfortunately, this was the wrong decision. My eyes, like most mangekyo, carried two abilities but they lacked firepower and weren't good for attacking.
Instead the right eye, Tenmei reversal of fate. Had the ability to rewind events, to turn back time on people and objects. I could use this ability to reverse my condition if I ever found myself in a pinch. It wasn't OP like Obito's Kamui but it was definitely a good life-saving power.
My left eye on the other hand is what my whole plan was based on. The Ikkai no Mon. The gate of other worlds and just like it sounded it would send me and others to another world. The problem was I had no idea where we'd end up. Hence why I had the clones gather so many supplies.
Another problem was the cost. Opening a wormhole through space and time was sure to leave me with practically no chakra but it was a risk I was willing to take.
Ikkai no Mon!
With my eyes activated everyone began fading away. Itachi, seeing Sasuke turn into small lights, panicked and jumped forward but it was too late. One moment the survivors of the Uchiha were there and the next they were simply gone.
