Chapter 117: Chapter 117 Dragon Vein Explosion!

"So this... is the power of the Six Paths."

Kaito clenched his fists, his body thrumming with energy beyond anything he'd ever known. His chakra surged, refined and overwhelming, a tempest of pure power. His eyes had ascended: from the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan to the Rinnegan, and now, blazing on his forehead, the Samsara Sharingan, a fusion of divine sight.

Behind him, nine Truth-Seeking Orbs hovered, pulsing with annihilation.

With his newly awakened Rinnegan, his spatial abilities reached the Sixth Tier, the absolute peak. Isshiki's space-time dominion, once unbreakable, had cracked. Not enough to shatter, but enough to no longer hold him.

A faint smile touched Kaito's lips.

"Now I wonder... how far I'll go once the rest of my power catches up."

Not just satisfaction, but exhilaration.

A hierarchy of strength flashed in his mind:

Tier 1: Madara with Rinnegan, Hagoromo using Sage Arts, borderline Six Paths.

Tier 2: Naruto and Sasuke in Six Paths forms, peak Toneri, Kinshiki.

Tier 3: Obito in Six Paths form, Momoshiki, himself, and Isshiki.

Tier 4: Hamura, the Sage of Six Paths himself.

Tier 5: Kaguya Ōtsutsuki with divine power but flawed instinct.

His judgment, forged in battle.

His gaze locked onto the battlefield, onto the swelling Tailed Beast Bomb in the Ten Tails' jaws.

"Time to end this."

"A complete Ten Tails... that will make up for everything."

Kaito raised his hands.

The Truth-Seeking Orbs spun, merging into a single, expanding sphere of oblivion.

"Expanded Truth-Seeking Orb."

The void-black mass ballooned to kilometers wide, matching the Ten Tails' Ultimate Tailed Beast Bomb in sheer devastation.

Isshiki's eyes widened.

He felt it: this was lethal.

"An unknown technique..." he muttered, his gaze sharpening.

"But even the Ten Tails may not survive it!"

"DIE!" Isshiki roared.

The Ten Tails fired its blast and Kaito hurled his own.

Two colossal spheres, one violet annihilation, the other pure void, collided midair.

No instant explosion. Instead, they compressed, grinding like dying stars, warping space and time.

One side, all-consuming darkness.

The other, absolute nothingness.

Then

BOOM!

A world-shattering detonation tore the sky apart.

The shockwave rippled across the Shinobi World. Mountains crumbled. Oceans raged. Even those far away froze in terror.

At the epicenter, a storm of energy raged, engulfing both fighters.

"Tch, damn it!"

Kaito gritted his teeth. Space warped, making teleportation a gamble with death.

But now, he had a Six Paths body. Wounds closed as fast as they opened.

Isshiki, however, was crumbling.

Bleeding from the immortal Sage chakra, he clung to the Ten Tails' fading energy. Normal healing? Futile. To recover, he needed:

Time to regain his prime, which he didn't have, or

To devour the Ten Tails and destroy centuries of plans.

So he endured, praying the storm would kill Kaito first.

But the storm raged on.

Minute after minute, Kaito held firm, gathering strength as his body struggled to adapt.

This was his first taste of true Six Paths power and he'd unleashed it at full force.

Mastery over the Ten Tails? Still not complete.

Finally, the storm began to fade.

Silence fell.

Both warriors stood battered but unyielding.

Kaito's eyes burned.

"This time," he murmured, "you won't fuse with the Ten Tails."

"Next..."

His voice was iron.

"Next comes your end.

Kaito was still strategizing his next move when a sudden pulse of energy surged nearby.

His eyes snapped toward the source—the ancient sealing formation around the Dragon Vein. It had been obliterated by the aftermath of the energy storm. In its place, the earth trembled as an ominous force began to stir.

The Dragon Vein... had broken loose.

The realization hit him instantly, like a dagger to the chest.

The Dragon Vein itself wasn't inherently dangerous. But once unsealed, its detachment from this spatial anchor meant far more than just a temporal ripple.

This wasn't the localized space-time distortion seen in the original Rōran incident.

This was short-term dimensional collapse—a momentary breach in the world's very framework.

The system's warning rang in his mind:

[Alert: Even at Six Paths level, survival in such a rift is not guaranteed.]

Kaito turned his gaze to the epicenter a singularity forming where the Dragon Vein once lay.

A black hole.

Though the world's natural corrective forces had begun trying to suppress it the moment it emerged, it wasn't enough. The black hole was still violently devouring everything in its vicinity.

And Kaito, standing closest to it, knew with absolute certainty he would be consumed.

"Tch. No choice."

Without hesitating, he triggered his spatial ability—no target, no coordinates—just raw escape.

He vanished from the battlefield in a shimmer of space-time.

Moments later, the black hole continued to collapse inward, absorbing matter and chakra indiscriminately until the world's corrective force finally erased it, sealing the rift.

Silence fell.

The storm that had ravaged the desert began to settle.

Far from the singularity's reach, Isshiki lay atop the Ten Tails, gasping for breath. His body was torn and ragged, but the worst was over.

He had also felt that sudden burst of energy earlier, but he'd been too focused on surviving the storm to investigate.

Now, as the skies cleared and the dust began to settle, Isshiki forced himself upright. He looked around.

The entire region, dozens of kilometers wide, had been turned into a massive crater. Everything within it, from the battlefield to the ruins of Rōran, had been obliterated.

But what caught his attention most—Kaito was gone.

Isshiki narrowed his eyes, then extended his senses through the Ten Tails.

He scanned the entire shinobi world... once.Twice.A third time.

Nothing.

Finally, he exhaled in disbelief—then in relief.

"He's gone."

He let out a breathless chuckle, followed by a dry cough."Finally... that damned pest is gone."

With the Ten Tails' support, he stabilized his internal injuries. A quick scan confirmed that the beast itself hadn't sustained any fundamental damage.

Another wave of relief washed over him.

Still, he scowled.

"Tch... these wounds will take years to fully heal."

But he had no choice. He would endure.

As the Ten Tails' chakra slowly enveloped him, a veil of darkness formed beneath their feet. Isshiki activated a spatial portal, withdrawing from the ruined battlefield with his most precious weapon in tow.

He vanished.

And just like that, the battle that had shaken the heavens ended...

…but the entire shinobi world felt its impact.

Whispers spread.

Of skies torn open.Of shockwaves felt from mountain peaks to ocean depths.Of a power no Kage could comprehend.

And most chilling of all, no one could find a trace of Kaito.
