Naruto: Tobirama Reborn, Invincible in the Ninja World

Chapter 82: Chapter 82: One Against Ten Thousand!

"Hurry up! Faster!"

"You there, come with me to support the Tsuchikage!"

"Akatsuchi-sama!"

"First squad, block all village entrances immediately!"

"Second squad, take up positions on the surrounding mountains. The moment you spot Konoha's flying shinobi, take them down!"

"Third squad, cover the evacuation of civilians still on the battlefield!"

"Fourth and Fifth squads, everyone, follow me to support the Tsuchikage!"

With the commanding orders issued, Iwagakure's forces began mobilizing swiftly.

The synchronized sound of countless footsteps reverberated through the village.

Thud, thud, thud.

From all directions, squads of Iwa-nin converged, surrounding the southern district of Iwagakure.

This was where Senju Tobirama had made his landing.

In the heart of the battlefield, a colossal wooden dragon weaved through the ground like an unstoppable flood, crushing everything in its path.

Buildings lay in ruins, scattered with the bodies of fallen Iwa-nin. Agonized screams echoed intermittently through the air.

Tsuchikage Ōnoki was being carried on the back of a burly Iwa-nin, his face contorted in fury.

"Quick! Bring more men! We have to trap the Hokage!" Ōnoki roared.

He refused to believe it—refused to believe that Senju Tobirama could rival the might of the God of Shinobi or Uchiha Madara.

Otherwise, how could he have fallen to Kinkaku and Ginkaku of Kumogakure?

This was Iwagakure, where tens of thousands of their shinobi stood ready. If they could find an opening, the sealing squad would surely imprison the Hokage here!

After all, hadn't the Third Raikage of Kumogakure been defeated by a similar overwhelming tactic?

"Kill!"

"Kill!"

An unending tide of Iwa-nin filled the battlefield, charging forward with earth-shaking momentum.

Standing atop the now half-destroyed wooden dragon, Tobirama surveyed the approaching enemies with an icy gaze.

Dozens of Iwa-nin leapt at the wooden dragon, their fists coated in layers of hardened rock. With synchronized precision, they struck with devastating force.

However, the moment their fists made contact with the dragon's body, their faces twisted in horror. They could feel their chakra being drained rapidly, as if sucked away by an unstoppable tide.

In moments, their bodies collapsed lifelessly to the ground, their mouths emitting weak cries for help.

Yet, their sacrifice only spurred on the remaining Iwa-nin, igniting their bloodlust.

Learning from the earlier mistake, they avoided close combat and unleashed a torrent of ninjutsu instead.

Standing on the dragon's head, Tobirama quickly became the target of countless attacks, disappearing beneath a deluge of techniques.

"Earth Release: Rock Lodging Destruction!"

A massive dome of rock, as large as a high-rise, descended upon Tobirama, released by none other than Akatsuchi himself.

Watching as the oppressive mountain of stone engulfed their fearsome opponent, Akatsuchi's face lit up with delight.

"It looks like we've won!" he exclaimed excitedly.

"Fool! Get the sealing squad over there immediately! He'll recover before you know it!" Ōnoki yelled in frustration from the rear, though a hint of relief crept into his expression.

It seemed that Tobirama's power wasn't as overwhelming as Uchiha Madara's after all...

However, their brief moment of joy was soon replaced by dread.

As the dust settled, Tobirama emerged, completely unharmed. The wooden dragon beneath him, however, lay lifeless on the ground, slowly fading away.

Scanning the surrounding shinobi with an indifferent expression, Tobirama's gaze fell on Akatsuchi. His tone was calm but commanding:

"Young one, that's not how you use ninjutsu."

With that, Tobirama's face darkened as black markings crept across his features. In an instant, his hands formed seals, and an immense surge of senjutsu chakra gathered before him.

"Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique!"

A straight line of flames burst from Tobirama's mouth, expanding into a massive wave hundreds of meters wide, sweeping toward the Iwa-nin.

"What the hell is this?!"

"Isn't that just a C-rank technique?!"

"How can a human do this?!"

The Iwa-nin knew the Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique well—a basic C-rank fire release that typically produced a flame a few meters wide, strong enough to fell a tree at best.

But this... this was something else entirely.

Caught off guard, and with no time to evade, countless Iwa-nin were consumed by the flames, their agonized screams echoing as they fell, charred and lifeless.

"Water Release Unit! Defend!"

Akatsuchi barked orders, prompting dozens of water-release specialists to step forward, creating a barrier of water to counter the fire.

"Water Release: Water Formation Wall!"

A defensive barrier stretched a mere hundred meters, barely containing a portion of the inferno. Behind it, many Iwa-nin burned alive, turning the area into a sea of fire.

Infused with senjutsu chakra, Tobirama's flames overwhelmed the water's resistance. The water walls began to waver, showing signs of imminent collapse.

"Use Earth Release to block it!"

Ōnoki's voice thundered from the rear, his frustration palpable.

"Does fire burn through stone?! Stop overthinking it and act!"

Snapped back to their senses, the Iwa-nin abandoned their water techniques and quickly raised towering stone walls.

"Earth Release: Earth Wall!"

One by one, massive walls rose, shielding the shinobi from the raging flames.

Temporarily safe, the Iwa-nin began to regroup, brainstorming ways to counterattack.

Standing atop the stone walls, Senju Tobirama smirked as he sensed reinforcements closing in.

Then, he abruptly ceased his fire assault.

"He stopped attacking?"

"Kill him!"

Taking advantage of the lull, Iwa-nin swarmed toward Tobirama's rear.

"Warm-up's over."

Clasping his hands together, Tobirama's voice was steady. In the next moment, the ground trembled violently.

"Wood Release: Wood Human Technique!"

The earth heaved like a tidal wave, shaking with the force of a tenfold earthquake.

In the center of the battlefield, a colossal wooden figure hundreds of meters tall rose from the ground.

"What the—"

"Is this even ninjutsu?!"

"His strength... it's not on our level!"

Weapons clattered to the ground as fear overtook the Iwa-nin.

The wooden dragon had been imposing, but its length didn't carry the same visual weight. The towering wood golem shattered their understanding of the possible.

Even Ōnoki, experienced as he was, trembled. Memories of the hopelessness he'd felt as Uchiha Madara crushed him resurfaced. His Dust Release might not even scratch the wood golem's feet.

"Everyone! Don't give up! This is our village! Are we just going to stand by and let it be destroyed by Tobirama?!"

Ōnoki's rallying cry momentarily bolstered their spirits.

From atop the golem's head, Tobirama glanced at Ōnoki with an impassive expression.

"What a shame," he murmured. "If only this Impure World Reincarnation body could summon True Several Thousand Hands. That would've leveled Iwagakure outright."

But even so, what he planned next would be more than enough to reduce Iwagakure to rubble.
