Chapter 27: Chapter 27: The Ninja Tool Shop

Chapter 27: The Ninja Tool Shop

The bowl of Ichiraku Ramen in front of Orion was quickly devoured by me, one bite after another. After finishing the noodles, I also drank all the remaining soup until the bowl was sparkling clean, with nothing left inside.

"I'm full. Sister Rin Nohara, I'll be going now." After finishing my noodles, I even reached out and patted my slightly bloated stomach. That bowl of ramen plus a few skewers of squid really did make me feel quite full.

"Go ahead, Ori. Your sister, Kakashi, and Obito still have a mission to do later. We don't have much time to rest," Rin Nohara said to Orion when she saw him stand up, looking like he was about to leave.

"Uh, I'm off then. Sister Rin Nohara, take care of yourself."

After saying this, Orion left Ichiraku Ramen directly. However, this sentence of his left Rin a little confused.

"Take care? Take care of what? What does Ori mean?" After hearing my words, Rin Nohara lowered her head and fell into deep thought.

But Rin thought for a long time and couldn't come up with an answer. After all, only Orion knew what he meant. After a while, Rin stopped thinking about what he had meant by "take care." Maybe four-year-old Orion just misspoke, Rin thought to herself.

Orion placed the money for the bowl of ramen on the table. After putting the money down, he walked straight out of the Ichiraku Ramen shop. I walked further and further away, until I could no longer see the shop, then I slowed my pace.

The "take care" I had just said wasn't a mistake. Because Orion was a transmigrator, he knew Rin Nohara's fate in the Naruto anime: she would die. But he wasn't quite sure when she would die.

And he also didn't know if his transmigration into this world would cause something to happen that wasn't supposed to. He didn't know if, due to his transmigration, the things that were supposed to happen to the three of them would have a different outcome. But these were not things Orion should be concerned with right now. What he needed to do now was to do his best to improve his strength as quickly as possible, so that he could have the power to protect himself.

Since Orion wanted to improve his strength, the most important thing on this trip was to buy some ninja tools and the like—items and weapons that could help him improve his strength.

But Orion just didn't know which shop to go to to buy these things. There were quite a few ninja tool shops in the Konoha ninja village. I had never calculated the exact number, but there were definitely a lot. If there were few ninja tool shops in Konoha, what would those ninjas do? They wouldn't even have a place to buy their tools.

Orion thought in his mind about what to buy at the ninja tool shop, while at the same time thinking about where the shops were located. Because he basically never paid much attention to where the ninja tool shops were when he went out, his memory was a bit fuzzy.

"But it doesn't matter if my memory is fuzzy. I don't believe I can't find a ninja tool shop if I just walk around the Konoha ninja village for a bit. Soon, I was quite a distance away from the Ichiraku Ramen shop."

As Orion was walking, he suddenly stopped in his tracks because he saw a ninja tool shop open ahead. Orion looked up at the name of this shop, but what entered his eyes were only three words: Ninja Tool Shop. This name really had no character at all!

Orion was a bit stunned when he saw this completely uncreative name. In this Konoha ninja village, the names of many shops were very distinctive. The names of those shops were varied and colorful, and many of them I couldn't help but praise when I saw them. But this ninja tool shop...

"Forget it, I shouldn't be so picky. At the very least, this is a ninja tool shop, isn't it?"

So, Orion walked towards the ninja tool shop he saw. Soon, I walked into it. I looked around. This shop was not small; judging by its size, it was considered one of the larger ones among the shops in Konoha.

In this shop, many weapons were casually displayed. Things like shuriken and kunai were the most numerous among the weapons. The second most common were swords and katanas; it was estimated that these were very popular among ninjas. Besides these two types, there were also many paper bombs and other miscellaneous things in the shop. Orion couldn't even name these things when he saw them.

Because Orion had basically never seen those things before, he couldn't name them. Anyway, he wouldn't be using those things, so whether he could recognize them or not was irrelevant.

In the very center of this shop was where the owner stayed, because there was a front counter in the center. Since the main door of the shop was also in the center, the counter was also built in the center of the shop.

The owner of this shop was a middle-aged man with a full beard. His body was strong and powerful. When Orion entered the shop, the owner was looking down, lost in a daze. The result was that even after Orion had walked into the shop, the owner hadn't noticed his presence.

But this made Orion feel a little awkward. Orion had searched for a long time and found this shop. He came in wanting to buy some ninja tools, but the owner of this shop didn't even notice him and was just spacing out. This was something Orion had really not expected.

"Ahem, ahem." So, Orion coughed lightly a few times, trying to attract the attention of the shop owner. But it seemed Orion's hopes were too high. After coughing a few times, the shop owner seemed not to have heard at all and continued to space out.

To be honest, although Orion's cough just now wasn't very loud, it wasn't quiet either. But that one-of-a-kind shop owner still hadn't noticed Orion's presence. This made Orion feel like he was losing face.

Looking at the one-of-a-kind shop owner who was still spacing out, Orion's face twitched. He slowly walked to the owner's side, took a deep breath, and shouted loudly, "Boss, stop spacing out! I want to buy something!"

After this shout, Orion felt much better. He looked directly at the owner's expression. Not to his disappointment, the shop owner's expression was indeed very rich. After being startled like that, he couldn't even sit still in his chair and was so shocked that he fell directly to the ground.

And the expression on the shop owner's face also changed frantically. When Orion saw those changes, he was already laughing out loud in his heart, he just didn't let it show.

Soon, the shop owner came to his senses, quickly climbed up, and sat back on his chair. He looked straight at Orion, an apologetic look appearing on his face, and quickly said to me, "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I really didn't see you come in just now, customer."

Seeing the owner apologize, Orion readily accepted his apology. After all, this owner hadn't done anything to make him angry, so Orion wasn't angry with him in the first place. It was very normal for him to quickly accept the owner's apology.
